We bought this mattress in the hopes it would help with a few issues. I am 7 months pregnant and because of that I toss and turn a lot, get very hot a night, and have sore hips and areas if I sleep too much on one side or the other. We had hoped this mattress would help solve some if not all of those problems and also allow my husband to sleep better next to me if I didn't toss and turn. Also, my husband got sick 3 days after our mattress arrived, and I got sick a week later. We have had respiratory problems since sleeping on this mattress and I don't know if it is related, but it seems very coincidental.

I'm coming off of a crap mattress, so anything is better than my last mattress. I'm not sure if it's what I was hoping for. The only thing left is the the purple sheets. If I would have waited 3 days I would have got all the extras free, platform, protector, and sheets. If purple thinks the sheets will make the difference, and they are giving them away for free now then maybe I should get a free set to find out if they make the difference.

So far, I am loving my new mattress. I bought the original Purple mattress. I'm getting ready to buy 3 more mattresses for the home. Customer Service was excellent. I'm an older, single woman, and I love that I can easily set this twin mattress up myself and easily purchase online and receive it via Fed Ex. I'm buying twins so that I have the option for twin beds or put them together for a king for guests. I also love that they are made in the U.S.A.!

It's been almost a month and really from day one we were super happy with the mattress. Mind you the one we threw away was like we were sleeping in the middle of a cavern - but still the comfort is awesome the support is really good. We are not little people and we move around a lot and this mattress has significantly decreased our complaints for dual comfort. The cold part people are talking about has been alleviated by putting their purple sheets on the bed while still using our wonderful regular sheets. I do not like their sheets by themselves. We were really lucky though and have a mattress showroom, Sleep Sherpa, that caters to online mattresses and we got to lay on it before we purchased so we knew before hand that this one worked the best for us. Also they gave us real info, no sales glitter, and also real expectations. We would never have purchased a Purple without that store - so huge props to them. I also really like the tracking - super convenient and helpful. Overall from start to finish - everything has delivered and performed exactly as advertised and reviewed. Thanks Purple!

I had one of the leading air mattresses, Select Comfort, for about 15 years. I constantly had to adjust it and often woke with a sore back. They claimed the air allowed it to conform to your body, but if you push down in one spot, it going to push up in another. That is NOT the case with the Purple. Also with the air bed, the two air compartments were surrounded with regular foam, which made laying across the bed very uncomfortable. My back and I are extremely happy with the Purple.

My wife and I are both side sleepers, and we both have medical issues that hinder our ability to sleep well. I purchased your mattress because I liked the concept. I have three herniated discs in three separate areas of my back, a damaged knee, problems with with hips and both shoulders. My wife has her own set of health related issues. We are both in our mid 50s, so all of these problems added up make sleeping more of a chore than something to look forward to. I am sad to report we are basically forced to return your mattress because of all of the reasons I mentioned. I think sleeping on our side takes away from the potential of what your design has to offer, and there is much more pressure on our bodies due to the smaller surface area being covered when laying down. I think you have a good product, and I am interested in purchasing your pillows and maybe even the seat cushion. While I am currently in the process of returning your mattress, I am impressed with your method of handling it.

I've always had hand-me-down beds. And even my parents bed wasn't as great as this (i called it the clorophorm bed. Because it's so soft. Not anymore) I fall asleep faster and wake up easier. My neck and back don't hurt when I wake up. Now my parents are gonna get one. 10/10 would recommend to others and you potential buyer.

This mattress is funky in color and texture but it is without doubt the most comfortable, supportive, and temperature controlled mattress upon which I've ever slept. No more sweaty legs or cricks in the neck. I recommend this to every person who has the luxury of affording a mattress.

Prior to buying the original Purple mattress, I slept on a 12-inch memory foam mattress and woke up with painful lower back pain that I'd carry with me throughout each day. My lower back issues are no-longer, thanks to the support of the Purple mattress!

We sent back two other mattresses after a trial period. The first was too firm for my husband and the second was too hot for me. So far, this has been like baby bear's bed: "Just right." I don't love being able to feel the texture (though I'd gladly take that to keep the mattress cool at night), and I don't love the fall off on the edges. Other than that, we're really happy!
