I love my new bed. My back feels great and I have had very little back issues since. All of the positive reviews are spot on. Might feel a little hard at first but with the right sheets and a few weeks its amazing. Best bed ever. Only part I was a little upset was after buying this, the pillow came out. Now if you buy a king sized bed it comes with the pillows. Still trying to save money to get the pillow as it must be as amazing as the bed.

When I ordered this I really wasn't sure what to expect. I had never tested out this type of mattress before and was going off of reviews only, but from what I had read and watched it seemed like this was a good option to just take a chance on. So far I am very glad I did. At first I admit the design threw me off a bit and I was worried the texture of the mattress itself would bother me with all the little squares being noticeable, however once the sheets were on I never paid it any attention. The mattress is soft but firm which is just the style I was looking for since I tend to prefer the feel of a soft mattress but soft mattress's give me back problems yet firm mattress's just feel uncomfortable. This is a nice combination of both in that it really feels like a plush surface but still has the support of something more firm. I'm very much enjoying the upgrade and will easily consider another purple mattress in the future.

The purple matress was eaisy to instal. It's quiet, comfortable, and innovative. The material used in the matress is wonderful and works just as advertised removing pressure from pressure points. The bed almost lightly embraces you as you lay down. I also bought the matress stand. like the matress it is designed smarter and sturdier than the competition it's nearly silent no matter what you do and provides a generous amount of under the bed storage

I've had the mattress now for a month, and my hip bursitis symptoms have all but disappeared. I'm sleeping much more comfortably, and I've convinced both my daughters to order one. I did get the adjustable power base from a local mattress store, as they white glove delivered it and carted away my old mattress and box spring. LOVE the mattress and power base!!!

This will be the 3rd Purple mattress I've bought. Gave my 1st to my sister because I needed to downsize (queen to full). And bought a king for my mom. If only Purple had a punch card... Needless to say, when it comes to comfort I go Purple and Purple accessories.

As of now I fined the mattress is too firm. It seem to be hot to sleep on. I have slept on it for a couple of weeks now, going to give myself more time and maybe I will get use to it. I have End stage COPD and sleep is very important to me. I need to find a good mattress. Hope this works out!!

Previously I had used a regular memory foam mattress and it at the time I thought it was the bees knees. Long story short, I started to have back and neck issues (which I never used to have) and that's when saw a clever add for the Purple mattress. I thought "what the heck do I have to lose". Let me just say, I've never slept better. It's supportive but not firm and cushy but not too soft. It really is juuuuust right. The material itself stays so much cooler too (I tend to sweat like crazy). If you're on the fence, give it a shot, you won't be sorry that you did.

Love the mattress a lot. Don't like the frame as much because it doesn't meet the specifications listed on the website. The website says to put the mattress on a frame that has slats no wider than 3" apart; the frame has slats over 5" apart, which created a noticeable decrease in comfort. I ended up filling the gaps with wooden boards. Also, the delivery date for each item kept changing with little to no warning. One day, an item would be set for Friday, then on Friday, I'd get an email saying the delivery would be Monday, etc. This happened with all three items, so I had no idea when I was actually receiving anything.

My discs have been slowly herniating since I was 17. I think I have 5 now that are messed up (congenital problem). I've gotten pretty good about ignoring the pain and just managing it, but the thing is, the type of bed I have can make it a lot worse. I've tried TempurPedic (sucked, memory foam in it started breaking down after ONE WEEK), Sleep Number (about like sleeping on a Ziploc bag, not at all comfortable, and the bags apparently get leaks very easily), and honestly the most comfortable bed I've ever slept on thus far was a regular lumpy old mattress. Until I found Purple! I didn't even test it out in the store; I watched the videos, talked to people who had them, and decided to take a chance. I've been sleeping on a Sleep Number for the last 4 months, and I wake up worse every morning. I got my Purple 2 mattress yesterday, and after one night of sleeping on it, I was amazed that I didn't wake up in excruciating pain as per the norm. I'm very excited. It's very comfortable, and I'm glad I got the really soft one because it seems to offer more support while still being pretty firm so it's just right. I bought the King size, the platform, and the pillow. I'm glad I got the King because now my kids want to sleep on it AND hang out on it during the day 24/7, so there's still plenty of room for me. The only complaint I have is that I wish the pillow was a little taller. I have pretty broad shoulders, but the pillow is really short. It's comfortable, it's just my head and neck aren't supported high enough when I'm on my side. My kids have been sleeping on it, though, and it seems to fit really well for them because they're smaller. I think I might try folding it in half and seeing if that gives it enough height to be comfortable.

This is a great mattress for you if you're worried about buying a "bed in a box" that's not firm enough. It has the soft feeling of foam but the grid on top helps support you on top of the mattress so you don't sink in. I've only had it for a couple of months but I have noticed a drastic difference in the quality of sleep I've received as well as virtually eliminating all back/neck aches.
