Where do I begin? I hated it from the get-go. My husband, who did his research and swore this was THE mattress that would change our lives forever, convinced me to give it a try. Well, I got used to it, which is definitely not the same as liking it. People should look forward to bedtime. There should be that moment of "Ahhh!" bliss when you finally collapse into bed at the end of a long workday. That was NOT the case with this rubbery brick of a mattress. But I was used to it after a couple months. Then we went on vacation and slept in the most comfortable bed in our entire lives. It was like sleeping on a mattress made of clouds and angel wings and dreams about rainbows. Only to come home and have reality hit me in the back. I hate it. The thought of lying in it makes me want to cry. My husband called the company to see if we could still return it, as it was only 10 days past the 100 days. Nope. Even though I'm literally miserable and have had HORRIBLE sleep since we've been back, I'm apparently stuck with a mattress I despise and paid way too much money for. If it didn't cost such a ridiculous amount of money, I would set it on fire. Don't be sucked in by marketing. (Why do mattress companies use eggs as scientific proof of comfort?! MY SPINE IS NOT MADE OF EGGS.) Anyway, the mattress sucks. But if you ignore this and still buy it, mark on the calendar when that 100th day hits. Trust me.

The mattress arrived amazingly fast which was great because I was moving into a new place so I didn't have to spend any nights on the floor. It is very comfy but be prepared for a different feel from typical mattresses. You almost feel like you are 'floating' in a way because you don't sink into the mattress unless you sit on it or do something else that puts a lot of pressure on it. I've been sleeping on it for almost a month now and haven't had any problems and feel like I get great sleep.

I am a back sleeper and the mattress has already started to be uneven with spots that sink in. I had to add a foam mattress topper just to make it bearable. I got rid of my old mattress so I am stuck with this one for now. Not pleased but not worth trying to do the return.

Ok, I've had this mattress now for almost 5 years. I bought mine well before they had any type of options other than size. I don't think that would matter. I hate this mattress. Its soooo firm. I can't get a good nights rest without either back/hip pain as well as my arm constantly falling asleep from pressure on my shoulder. My boyfriend who probably prefers to sleep on a rock even dislikes this mattress. I finally went out an bought a nice mattress topper after a few years of suffering and now my bed is finally so much better. I knew almost immediately this bed probably wasn't for me, but I was just hoping and praying my body would adjust by the 100 days and eventually I'd fall in love...I was dead wrong. I mean the technology is cool, but this mattress %100 isn't for me or my boyfriend. I can't even get into how the mattress is about 3 or 4 inches shorter than a standard mattress, so I have a huge gap from my mattress to my baseboard. I saw this in other reviews when I purchased, and maybe in the last 4 years the issue has been fixed (I hope) because it seems to have been a major issue with Purple.

I have been searching for the right bed for years. This is the first time I've been able to regularly sleep through the night. Not to mention no more waking up with pain in my neck or back. Thank you purple :D also thank you for your nerdy advertising because that was what got my attention!! Love A+++

We had a queen size purple, but now it's so nice to have the king, my boyfriend and girlfriend and I all fit so nicely, and it's the most wonderful sleep I've ever had. Combined with the power base we've never slept better in our lives. It was really life changing and I could never go back to a regular bed.

The buying and set up experience was easy. The mattress is very different - in a good way - and comfortable for me, but my wife isn't sold yet. I don't wake up in pain like I did with my old mattress, so that's good. We bought the mattress cover in case we decided to return the mattress, but it is very noisy and "crinkly". Will probably spend a few more nights on it before we decide whether to keep it or not.

So...last night was our first night sleeping in our new queen Purple mattress. This morning I woke up carefully assessing how well I had slept. I planted my feet on the ground , stood up, and proceeded to the bathroom as I do everything morning. In a bit of a haze, I thought to myself, "This bed just might have lived up to all the hype!" And then i experienced the most unexpected emotion of disappointment! As I looked in the mirror, I jerked my head to the right and then again to the left as I do every morning to crack my neck for a momentary feeling of relief....but there was no crack!...there was NOTHING! It took me a moment to realize that this annoyance was in fact something to celebrate instead. I was so accustomed to the misalignment of my neck every morning that it didn't occur to me that not needing to crack my neck would be such a wonderful experience from sleeping on the Rainbow-Pooping-Squatty-Potty-Loving-Unicorn of beds! Yes, people....it is THAT AMAZING!!!

My Purple mattress marked a before and an after in my sleeping ways. It is the most comfortable thing I have ever laid my body on, and I never want to sleep anywhere other than my own room now that I have this baby. Thank you guys at Purple, you rock!!!

I did a lot of research on beds before this purchase & the 100 day return policy certainly helped. To my delight this mattress has been fantastic. Besides being very comfortable I love that my husband can move, turn, shift, whatever & I don't feel his moving, at all....but. the biggest factor is that I haven't had a backache or stiff neck since sleeping on the purple.
