Though we took a couple days to get used the major change from an air mattress, we are fairly pleased with this bed. It felt like it took some time to "break in". My wife has had great success with improving her sleeping pattern. Though for me, since I am a stomach sleeper, i wake up with a sore neck every morning. I believe that we will try to put a pillow top on this to better fit my "flat sleeping". Even with this, I think it is a great improvement from any other bed that we have had. i hope it lasts. I have a bit of a fear that the rubber honeycomb will become cracked or start to deteriorate over time, since the seat cushion that I have does not seem to support as much as it did with the original purchase

Buying a purple matttess has been a fascinating experience. Everyone I dealt with was positive and it's just a fun company to buy from! My mattress is wonderful. I was even so impressed with the follow up when I had a concern about an issue with the bed. They made sure I was 100% satisfied in handling the issue. That kind of service is almost unheard of anymore. The purple company is most definetely one of a kind. I'm a purple customer for life!

I love my mattress (new version 3") but I wish I had bought the 4". I just came to the website to see if they sell a topper so I could add one but they don't. Oh well, it's great without it, but if you're gonna buy go all out and buy the top of the line. Love my Purple!

I had wanted a Purple bed for quite some time, ever since I saw it mentioned on the Single Dad Laughing blog on Facebook. My husband wasn't nearly as eager to order something online. I finally sold him with the promise that if he (or even I) didn't like it there is the 100 day money back guarantee. Well, we ordered a queen Purple bed and expected to wait three to four MONTHS. Imagine my surprise when it arrived within ONE MONTH!!! Our son came over to help unwrap the "purple burrito" and placed it on our bed. We were prepared to need a few nights to adjust but the first night we both slept better than we had in a long time. I had been having problems with my arms getting numb when I slept on my side and that was one of the reasons I wanted to try this bed. Success! I have not had one episode of numbness in any extremities since we got the bed a week ago. This is another order you will NOT be getting back.

I purchased the purple from the reviews I read and with high hopes to solve my shoulder pain that comes from sleeping on my side. I also was hoping to get a mattress that kept me cool at night. I have not had any success with either issue. I have tried to sleep on my back and I have tried different style sheets and about every pillow in the world. I tried to order the Purple pillow but cancelled it when I realized that the purple mattress was not going to be the one for me. I am trying to give it a few more weeks since I have only slept on it for about 35 days. I have also noticed a difference in the locations on the mattress that I lay in and there is a hump already in the middle of the bed between me and my wife. That is very concerning to me. I still find myself tossing and turning at night trying to get into that spot where I can sleep in comfort but it just isn't there for me on this mattress.

I loved the bed and hated to return it. I am a stomach sleeper and before this bed I was waking up and crawling to the bathroom every morning due to back pain from a brand new bed that just wasn't supportive enough. With the Purple bed I slept longer and even dreamed more (hopeless insomniac) and never woke with back pain. There is slight motion transference, however, and when I moved around it awakened my husband and he would toss and turn. None of the reviews mention this problem so I feel like he is just super sensitive to it. I didn't notice it at all. After 35 days I reluctantly started the return process. I can definitely see where this mattress would be suitable for most people. I am not through the full return process, but so far Purple has made it very easy for me to get a refund for the mattress.

Very comfortable and easy to set up. I sleep like the dead all night. If I had one complaint, it's that I have a harder time getting up in the morning because I'm so comfortable in this bed. If you're in the market for a new mattress, you won't go wrong with this one.

It's not a gimmick. It is a fantastic mattress. I'm on a medication that causes - difficulty falling asleep and the inability to stay a asleep - I know lovely, right? On the purple bed I fall asleep faster literally within 10 minutes and I stay asleep longer. Even when I do wake up throughout the night I'm able to fall back asleep again. Our first mattress started getting bad after the first year. It took 3 years for us to finally have it replaced. They replaced it with no question and removed the old one at no charge. The service was good but the mattress is not. The replacement is supposed to have increased edge control but it does not. In my opinion the bed is too expensive for what it is. We also tried the sheets and those got little pill balls on them in a matter of months. It seems they spend more on fun marketing that the lasting quality of their product. Huge bummer.
