I sleep hot, always have. Kept the window open during winter when I was a kid. I used to have a waterbed which was great for me, but when I got married, my wife couldn't tolerate it. So we bought an early version of the sleep number bed. Worked great for years until we moved to oregon and I started to have more and more issues. Mostly with pressure points and my old nemesis heat. I was waking up probably 20 times a night to roll over from pressure points and of course was hot all the time which also woke me up. After looking at lots of on line beds, we chose purple because of the uniqueness of the material and of course, the great videos. I can honestly say that it does draw away the heat. The first few times I used it, I could feel the coolness of the mattress. Very rarely will I get woken up by pressure points anymore. Now the only problem is my sleep is not as good as it was when I was younger, but at least the mattress isn't the reason. A satisfied 61 year old purple sleeper. And my wife loves it!

My experience with Purple was very easy, quick, and friendly. My mattress actually came sooner than the anticipated date! I personally don't get that initial "ahhhh" when laying down on it, but I do sleep better and don't wake up as sweaty. Definitely worth it!

So far, so good. Went from a Sleep Number to your mattress. I waited way to long for something new. Good news is, I only recently learned about your mattress and I am glad I waited. For the first time in years, I don't wake with a sore back. Also, I love your sheets!

I love my Purple bed. I ended up having an issue with it but Purple came to the rescue and replaced it under warranty. It was a no hassle replacement. I highly recommend Purple because they seem to be honest and fair unlike other bed companies that I had issues in the past. Thank You, Lloyd

I had been having a lot of problems sleeping and waking up extremely tired. I finally decided to get a new mattress to see if it would help. I should have made this purchase a long time ago. The purple mattress and purple pillow have been amazing. I wake up feeling rested and without problems it's very wonderful. I would definitely purchase this mattress again in the future. I didnt know how much of a difference a good mattress and a good pillow could make to my life.

I read some of the other reviews and expected it to be too firm. It's the perfect softness: It supports you, but gives you that luxurious sinking-in feeling. If I had to have a complaint, it is that you cannot schedule delivery for the day you move into your new home, but aside from that, this product is perfect.

I'm delighted to have this mattress. As a side sleeper it's really more comfortable than any other mattress I've ever owned. The only minor thing I would point out that was unusual has nothing to do with the mattress. They do something unusual in the way they provide the shipping information to FedEx so I got a notification of the date my mattress would be delivered, and then there was no date at all a few days later, and then eventually there was a new date that was several days beyond that initial expected date.

Took the mattress almost a month to arrive and was out for delivery for almost two weeks (Thanks FedEx). When the mattress finally arrived, it is the most uncomfortable mattress ever. I don't u errata do the hype. Definitely not worth the money I paid for it.

I absolutely love this mattress! I am not the guy that writes reviews in the first place, but this is worth talking about. My back has never felt better. I get so excited about climbing into the bed every night. Unlike pillow top or memory foam, you don't sleep "in" the mattress, you sleep "on" the mattress. That may sound like it is a firm mattress but the way it relieves pressure on you shoulders, back, and hips is amazing. I cannot fathom ever having another mattress. If you are considering buying one, do your life a favor and go for it. We have the original purple.

I prefer a softer bed and my husband prefers a firmer bed so I was a bit nervous ordering a Purple bed. I initially thought the mattress would be too firm for me, but after sleeping on it a bit, I found I slept much better. Five months after purchasing our Purple bed we ordered another Purple bed for our lake house.
