We bought the purple and fell in love with it the first night we slept together. It's the perfect mattress for everyone no matter your mattress preference. I like firm mattress' and my wife likes soft, the purple is perfect for both of us. We've even started going to bed a little earlier as long as that means we get a few extra minutes on the Purple.

To be honest, when we first received our mattress and setup we were a little worried. It was extremely firm, more so than what were expecting. We decided to use it for the 100 nights and are we glad we did!! After about 2 weeks the mattress seemed to break in and became soft yet supportive just as described. I would highly recommend that anyone looking for a new mattress give Purple a try!

We loved our mattress when we first got it- very comfy for the first year- now that we've had it two years, both my husband and I hate this mattress. We wake up every morning sore and with back aches. Each side is sunken in- we are so disappointed that we spent so Much money on a crappy Mattress. Do not buy!

My wife has back problems. We prefer a mattress on the firm side. After reading reviews many people said this is a firm mattress with good support. When we first purchased the purple mattress we really enjoyed it and slept well. After about 6 months the mattress has softened and it is too soft. Now she cannot sleep thru the night and is in pain when she wakes up. It is past the 100 day trial so I cannot return.

It took my body about 2 weeks to adjust to the Purple from my very old/worn out mattress. The mattress contours my side really well, but not my back, which may be a personal problem since I have such a high arch. This is the only reason I can't give it 5/5, since I prefer sleeping on my back. BEST FEATURE: The mattress sleeps temperature neutral!!! I used to wake up because I would get so hot, but not in my Purple! Along with bedding made with lyocell (made from plant fibers and regulates body temperature) I never wake up because I over heat.

Do not be fooled by the hype that Purple mattresses seem to carry with them Firstly, their mattresses themselves are very cheaply made and WILL bulge or sag after only a year or two. And when the mattress sags, purple will deny your warrantee. Their business model favors policy over the customer, which means that you as the customer assume any and all risk when buying anything from Purple. They enforce warrantee denials with militant rigidity, proving that their "warantee" promise is nothing more than a cash grab for greedy executives and an upsell that ends up being useless. This means that once a mattress leaves them, they essentially wash their hands of it forever. BEWARE ANY stain on the mattress whatsoever completely voids your warrantee. No exceptions, no circumstances, period In addition, Purple makes exaggerated claims that their mattresses relieve back pain. As someone with two herniated discs in the L4 and L5 regions I didn't have any relief from my back pain in the three years that I had used their mattress, often waking up numb from the waist down. My experience with purple is that I had fallen victim to an overhyped but underperforming cheaply made mattress and a very questionable business model that failed to deliver when it mattered most and leaves you with an experience of taking your money and only leaving you with simply "too bad" in return. I will never buy another mattress from Purple and I strongly advise you to reconsider the hype and quality it is presented with because all it proves to be is smoke and mirrors nothing more.

My husband and I researched for two years; finally I decided I had to make a decision, and it was a good one. We both LOVE this mattress. I was really concerned that he wouldn't like it, but it has made an amazing difference in how we both sleep. I would recommend this mattress to anyone who would listen. Also, our 75 pound coonhound approves as well............... Thanks, Purple!

On day one, my wife and I felt that the purple was very different than any other mattress we have ever owned and weren't exactly sure if we were going to want to keep it or might have to get an upgraded mattress from purple, But by day 10, my wife made the comment That our mattress feels like we were sleeping on a cloud and couldn't imagine ever sleeping on any other kind of bed ever again. Hey, The only suggestion I would offer to any first time buyers is to make sure you get the upgraded sheets. They are absolutely amazing!

Terrible. Beware the fine print- when you order a mattress and bed frame their website does not match to the same size. so if you aren't very careful you get the wrong size frame and are responsible to pay for returning it which is more than the cost of the frame itself. Their "too bad" attitude was the most maddening of all. So we are keeping the frame and returning the bed and buying another brand with better service. Buyers beware if you need any help after you click this is NOT the bed for you

My sleep is so much better now! As a veteran who's suffered from back injuries and hip injuries it was hard to find anything to help with a good nights sleep....well finding Purple was like sleeping as though I was never hurt to begin with! Thanks Purple for helping me get a good nights sleep again!
