We originally ordered an original purple, and we were really hopeful that we would love it, but my husband couldn't even lay on it for 10inutes. He has multiple ruptured discs, and the extremely firm feel of the mattress wasn't working for him. I slept on it for a week or.two while we negotiated an exchange, and that time couldn't go by fast enough. My back was spasming, and the pressure of this "no-pressure" mattress was excruciating! But then the 4 came. We went for the total.opposite end of the spectrum. So. Soft. It felt like heaven. I wanted to fall instantly in love, but it wasn't to be. I tossed, turned, ached, and agonized. My muscles kept cramping and spasming.uscle memory is a powerful thing, y'all. My back muscles were trying to support me and protect me from my old mattress still. Two weeks was the magic number when the pain started easing, but even during that time of broken sleep and waking up hurting, I was actually waking up feeling more rested. My son won't sleep in his room anymore. Even my husband, who has been sleeping on the couch for 4 years due to.no mattress agreeing with his back problems, can take naps.on it. "Naps". They turn into 4+ hour snore sessions *lol*. I think he could sleep through the night, if he'd give it a chance. TL:Dr the adjustment period is real. Really real. Painfully, real. Don't get discouraged too quickly. Bear in mind your preferences. If you don't like firm mattresses, go for the 3 or 4. If you're heavy, go for the more plush layer. Don't expect it to feel like any other mattress. It's definitely unique. I am now in love with my Purple!

Unfortunately, the quality of the purple mattress doesn't compare to a regular mattress. We took a chance and it didn't work out. It feels like we're sleeping on a thin piece of foam, and I constantly roll into the middle of the bed because my partner is heavier than me. Not to mention, my back pain has gotten tremendously worse. It's been two months and we have to return it.

My wife and I got the new Queen Purple Plus mattress. Setting up the foundation and headboard was a breeze; it's very well-engineered. We bought stretchy sheets in order to allow the purple grid to contour freely. When we laid down on it, we had the same thought, "this is the most comfortable bed!" No joke, make sure your alarm is set. This bed supports you so perfectly that you will fall asleep before you mean to and stay asleep longer than you meant to. The quality of sleep you get from the Purple Plus makes its price seem like a steal. We also use the purple grid pillows which pair perfectly with this mattress.

I am a 21 year old who suffered a major spine injury my sr year of high school. Since then I have had daily back pain and constant trouble getting comfortable. Normal beds are not able to support my body (6' 2", 200lbs) the way that it needs, result in several mornings waking up and not being sure if I can get out of bed due to pain. With the mattress I got from purple I have not had a day like that. I can sleep though the nigh again and I dont wake up in pain. Good work purple team!

I purchased a pillow for my child who is very difficult to find a pillow that can help him sleep. The initial standard one was heaven compared to all of the other brands that we have tried however there were a couple of features he requested to get adjusted. So we are re-ordering and returning in the process has been... Easy as pie

It's only been a week and a half but what a difference! I am 61 with back issues. I have been in such pain for over two years. I had a memory foam that was hurting me so terribly. I have slept for 30 years or more on a waterbed. So after shopping and researching I finally made the decision. I can roll over without feeling like a turtle on it's back, sleep all night, and I don't even feel the bed move when my husband comes to bed. I was never going to buy a bed that I had never laid down on over the internet!! Then I realized that I had laid down on the memory foam and thought it was the bomb until it started dipping and sagging. I figured with the free setup, 100 night trial, 10 year warranty and free sheets lets try it. I'm so glad I did. I just hope that I am still this happy in a few years from now.

Unbelieveable! It feels so good even the dogs dont get up to see me when I get home. Best matress on the market. I haven't regretted it one night. It Sleeps cool and it is comfortable no matter which position you choose. It is more expensive than everything else because it is really that much better. I'm a lifetime customer from now on

.. It's been great! It's comfortable! I read about people having to get used to it. I immediately got used to sleeping better. I wear my cpap mask more often and I feel better from my back to my muscles. My wife also really enjoys the mattress. I only have given 3 stars at the moment because we've just got the msttesss about 2 weeks ago.

This mattress is so unique and so comfortable, it's truly changed the way I sleep. I go down for six hours and I wake up by myself for work, feeling like I got 8. When I sleep for longer, I don't wake up stiff in my shoulder anymore. I also received a free pillow with the mattress and it was also a surprise! It was odd, weighing 10 pounds and thinner than I was used to. I had seen reviews with it having an inflatable extension and was excited to use that feature, but mine came without. I've slept much better with the purple pillow but I have to say there was and still is an adjustment period with it. Who can argue with a free pillow though? My preference would just be to able to adjust the height of the pillow. We also purchased the platform for the bed and it is truly squeak proof and provides a really nice suspension of support. We are planning on purchasing the sheets and a pillow case for the new mattress, but I can honestly say this bed is excellent even in normal sheets.

So I am a 30 year old male who's old bed was causing lower back pain and shoulder pain. It was getting pretty bad. So I kept seeing the Purple commercials on YouTube and thought I'd try it. At first the pains were gone, but I felt funny waking up. Almost sore. But after two weeks my body has adjusted and I am having amazing sleep again.
