I bought a new "regular" mattress, and everyday I had it, I woke up more stiff than the day before. The first night I slept on Purple, I woke up feeling better, and this feeling has remained morning after morning. Purple's surface feels a little different, but I feel better and that's what counts! So this bed is a dream. I was incredibly skeptical but my boyfriend insisted on purchasing this because he has friends that swear by this mattress. However, I had a major issue with Manna Distribution, the company that does "white glove" delivery (laughable). They left all of the cardboard boxes on my apartment, then proceeded to leave the old mattress in the loading dock at my apartment building. After over 2 hours of back and forth, Manna basically screwed me. Now if I was a Purple Executive, I would have done by due diligence and simply google Manna Distribution only to find a website dedicated to how horrible they are and the proud 1.2 stars display on Yelp. Purple Exec's, shame on you for this. But Purple, I applaud you for the customer service, Jamison, the Comfort Guru, is 100% an amazing asset you have on that team.

Well..it has taken me a while to adapt to the mattress, I still feel that it is a little hard , not soft like I was hoping, maybe the purple 3 and purple 4 are softer, but the Original is not for sure. I must say that I do feel how icreates the shape around my body like all the videos. The videos was a great job from you guys, that was the reason why I decided to buy your mattress instead of another one. If you could send me a pillow as a sample I would appreciate it. Thanks.

This mattress is nothing short of wonderful. My wife and I couldn't be happier with our purchase and its rare we say this once the novelty of a purchase has worn off - This mattress is all utility, forget the novelty. We sink into this mattress every night and do not move until the morning. After our first few nights with the mattress we actually had to question whether or not there was such a thing as sleeping too hard. We decided there wasn't. Tried it out for a couple months and it only seem to get worse. As soon as my back touch the mattress it's in pain. Even my shoulder and hips. I'm a back and side sleeper and I wake up every morning in pain and go to sleep in pain. I bought this to replace my old one because it was causing me back pain. At this point i would much prefer my old mattress than this one.

We had some problems with shipping how it was marked as shipped and nothing happened. Purple was prompt in making sure our product got to us. We have greatly enjoyed our transfer from an old box spring to an amazing purple bed. We LOVE Everything about this company. Thank you so much!

my husband's opinion is not here, due to medical reasons he has had to sleep in a recliner. When I first get into the bed it's the most comfortable thing in the world, but my lumbar isn't supported unless I adjust to find the right position for the bed, not me...hurts my shoulders when on my side & Purple sheets didn't come/advertised

Our mattress was a few years old but well within it's lifespan but we kept getting worse and worse sleep. I was waking up every morning with a stitch in my shoulder and my husbands lower-mid back pain was impacting his running. We aren't quite 2 months in and we are making arrangements to get rid of the old mattress because the purple isn't going anywhere.

I cant speak much on other matresses, most of what I know is if it was memory foam or not. What I can speak on is how I felt before and how ive been feeling since my purchase. I have a bad back, soreness, stiffness, pain and discomfort occasionally shooting down into my legs. I bought a purple to try something new, but for the short time ive had it I have enjoyed it. I wake up, with significantly reduced pain and discomfort compared to other matresses ive slept on, I havent felt like the matress gets uncomfortably warm and keeps me up sweating. I would suggest starting small to see if it is right for you, then upgrade to fit your wants and needs.
