So I have purchased the Purple Mattress after moving out of my boyfriends house. I moved to an apartment and on the 3rd floor. Getting a mattress up there the traditional way would have been torture. So I looked into the Purple Mattress simply for the reason that it is delivered in a bag! Easy to get up to the 3rd floor, with help of course, and the frame was super simple as well. It is comfortable and just what I needed to work on a new me and help with sleep. Thank you Melinda D.

No joke. I've had back pain for a few years. Center back. We bought this mattress. It hurt my lower back at first. I decided to give it time to get used to it. After about 3 weeks it stopped hurting and I noticed my middle back had stopping hurting as well! Pair this with the right pillow for your neck and you'll be in happy sleep land! One thing to note: it does transmit motion a bit more than the latex mattress we replaced. So if you are a couple who gets out of bed at different times. I recommend upgrading to the king size if you have the space.

Firstly to let you know... I am a blue collar worker that has recently taken my father into my home because I don't want him to go to a Nursing home. He has a lot of trouble with pain in his back and hips. And after seeing a lot of the Purple adds, and doing a little research on this mattress? I knew it would be the best thing for him. Knowing that there are a lot more underlying problems internally with him! I thought this would be a very good first step to making him as comfortable as possible, getting him a better night sleep than he had gotten in the past. That would promote a better day the next day with activities. And it definitely has. The reason I titled this review the way I did? Is simply because it is true. Literally, the night before this Purple mattress arrived. I heard him up and about.. Keeping me up worrying about him. The day after it arrived and we replaced his old mattress with this new one? I didn't hear anything that night. So? Not only did he get the rest that he deserves... I also wasn't woken up wondering why he was up at odd hours. I noticed right away when I got up for work the day after he slept on it, that... He was smiling, had coffee ready for the both of us, and was walking around the house with a little more "Pride, in his Stride". This was and probably always will be the very best investment I have ever made. Thank you, Purple for making my Dad feel better. And in turn! Making me feel better. A loving son and customer. On my old Tempur-Pedic, I would get hot and sweaty and sink in to the mattress and everytime my significant other and I tried to cuddle we would have to separate because one of us would get to hot. Since we got the Purple matress, we have yet to have any of those problems.

My girlfriend recommended this as a bed for my new apartment. I was a bit iffy because it was a brand I haven't heard of, compared to something like Tempurpedic. But I ordered anyways and I'm glad I did. I've never been able to lay on my side and feel complete comfort on my pressure points. That's what this mattress provides. I would order again in a larger size if I could. Thank you for this product.

My overall experience with Purple has been great, even though I AM returning my mattress. Buying it was easy, deliverey and setup was quick and easy. I can tell the construction of the mattress is high quality....however, being a side sleeper, my fiancee and I needed more sinkage. With my old spring mattress, I was having trouble with my arms falling asleep before I did, and with Purple, I had the same issue. When I would just sit straight up on the mattress , or press directly onto it, the squish felt awesome! But when laid flat, with even weight distribution, I didn't sink at all. It feels very very firm. So although this mattress is excellent for some people, probably mostly back sleepers, it wasn't the right fit for me. Good luck everybody!!

I just received my queen size and power base, and I just ordered a topper, unfortunately. I spent my life sleeping on tempurpedic type toppers and my new mattress is just too hard. I love the power base, I just can't handle the hard right now. I had a pre-existing back injury, and this mattress was not forgiving. Maybe when that heals, I will be able to lose the topper . Also, I really missed my headboard, so stand alone will take care of that . Boy, I am really set in my ways LOL

My husband and I bought this mattress because he sleeps very hot. When we bought it we realized it was pretty hard and gives little to no support, but was hoping we would get used to it because we were coming from a bed with a memory foam topper. Well after one year of sleeping on it, I can confidently say it did not help with temperature and was the WORST sleep I've had. We recently had to sleep in our guest bedroom, which contains our older (and smaller) mattress, for 2 weeks and it has made us realize how terribly we have slept for the last year, tossing and turning throughout the night and never feeling refreshed the next morning. I wish we had realized sooner it was this mattress giving us issues and could return it, but looks like we will be looking into buying a mattress topper and hoping for the best.

a few years ago I fell on a patch of Ice and hurt my back/hip... I had been in pain ever since, even with making many adjustments on my sleep number bed, I finally decided I needed a new mattress, so I purchased The Purple...first I'd like to say, lying on this bed is sooo awesome! , For the first few nights I could tell that my back was re-adjusting.. I could feel it, it's hard to explain. I am pear shaped and a back sleeper for the most part, when I lay there it feels almost like floating but I can feel the firmness, I feel my bottom go down far enough (not sagging) but I can tell my back is still straight there is no pressure, and my lower back is supported. also being pear shaped, whenever I lay on my side I could feel pressure on my lower back and hip.. but with The Purple, no pressure on my hip and my lower back which is usually a huge problem for me. I wake up expecting to feel the affects of my fall (and getting older) but, NOTHING! Thank you so much, I am so happy with my purchase

Me and my husband love this mattress and our animals do too! We don't want to get out of bed because it's so comfy. My husband says it's like laying on a cloud. It has helped my sleeping, which has been difficult prior to the purple matress due to back problems. I will never buy another brand of mattress again!
