We've had our Purple mattress for about two years and every night when I lay down I think - why did I even get out of bed this morning? It is SO perfectly comfortable, it amazes me every time I lay on it. I never wake up sweaty, any position I'm in is comfortable and I seriously love the peace of mind knowing it's not going to start sagging or giving out on the edges. We also got the Purple sheets and the first-gen Purple pillow, and the combination of these three things have made me reluctant to travel because I don't want to sleep on anything but them. I do travel with my 10 pound Purple Pillow every time I spend the night somewhere, it's that good. I could not imagine a better mattress than my Purple.

My mattress did take a couple extra days to arrive than the original expected date, but once it finally arrived, I couldn't wait to set it up and try it out. Once I got it in place, I found myself wondering if going to bed at 6:30 without dinner would be acceptable because I just wanted to stay in the comfort as long as I could!

I know I could I tried it for 100 days but two days were enough. It was too thin, too hard and too hot ( and we are in winter time ). I would not but it again. It did not work for me. It does not mean it's a bad mattress, just not the right fit. Great customer support and they gave me the full refund like they promised.

I love my bed now. I love to go to sleep in my bed. I love to pull the covers over my head and hit the snooze button a few times (not because I'm tired, but because I'm just too comfy to move). I love to read in my bed. I love to curl up with my pillows and pretend work was just a nightmare in my bed. I love everything about this bed. Actually, buyer beware: you may find yourself inviting friends to come over and hang out in your bed instead of going to the movies. I never find chewing gum on the bottom and there is never some little brat kicking it either. I bet if there WAS some little brat kicking my mattress though, I wouldn't feel it. No motion transfer. Gah, purple mattress, will you marry me?

Backstory: Last summer I had pulled a muscle in my lower back. After months of healing I was still experiencing minor pain, specifically the right side of my lower back. This is also the side I sleep on and I find it rather uncomfortable not to sleep this way. Obviously when my back was healing I didn't sleep on it, but I found myself wanting to go back to my old habits after it healed, since some nights it didn't hurt, but other nights it started acting up. My old mattress was well past its prime and I knew half of my pain was due to that springy nightmare. After researching different types of mattresses, I settled on the Purple. It arrived shortly after my purchase, right at my doorstep, no dealing with delivery trucks or scheduling. It comes vaccuum sealed and a letter-opener like cutter gets rid of the plastic easily. The mattress literally inflated before my eyes and I could immediately lay down and take a nap. Yes, it had a "brand new" almost sweet and nutty odor, but it airs out after a few days and is non-toxic. As someone who was used to a firm mattress I found the Purple almost too soft, something I quickly adjusted to because I was used to sleeping on a rock. It comes with a mattress cover, which is a good feature for someone who likes keeping their mattress fresh and clean (which, who wouldn't). It's easy to unzip the mattress cover and not too difficult to get it back on. With my old mattress, I had to use one of those memory foam toppers, but once I got the Purple I gladly threw that thing in the trash! As with any new mattress, you should expect an adjustment period. Even with a fantastic mattress like the Purple, my body still had to get used to not being as tense when I sleep. However, after about three weeks on the Purple, my back pain, which acted up only when I laid down, was gone for good. I've also found that sleeping on my back, which I used to find impossible to do on any previous beds I've slept on, is possible on the Purple. I also found myself falling asleep quicker and staying asleep throughout the night. Which leads me to the one problem I have with this mattress - it's too comfortable. I literally cannot get myself to get out of bed in the morning. This isn't an exaggeration, because as someone who is self-employed and has no set schedule, I find myself sleeping in more often than not. I sleep so deep I cannot hear my alarm, even when it's on the highest setting. After three months I have gone from an early riser to sleeping in, but it's all good for the sake of the best sleep I've gotten in years. I've officially been sleeping on this mattress for three months. I'd recommend the Purple Mattress to anyone. I think it's a great fit for people who struggle with sleep, whether for back pain or trouble falling/staying asleep. It's worth the investment. Just make sure to also invest in a great alarm clock because you will never want to leave bed.

Getting used to sleeping on the Purple mattress took some getting used to, merely since it felt more like nothing was actually beneath me. It was supportive in just the right spots and at the right amount that it just felt as the bed vanished. It's been letting my spine relax more so my lower back pain has been slowly easing as well.

I have been using my Purple mattress for a few months now, and it has nearly eliminated my back pain. When you first lay down on it, it feels like a cloud, but it actually has support. I have already recommended it to many people I know, and I will be buying another one the next time I need a mattress.

I have to admit, I was skeptical of this mattress... and in general, I'm anxious about making the wrong decision about big purchases such as a mattress... but I am in love and obsessed with this mattress and I recommend it to EVERYONE... the sheets too! Every time I get into bed now, I let out a huge sigh/exhale and just melt right in.

We purchased a twin size mattress and pillow for our 16 year old son. We have been VERY happy with our purchase. He has been sleeping like a baby and is no longer complaining about being achy. The mattress took a few weeks to get but it was definitely worth the wait.

I pride myself on keeping my own opinion, especially on things with a lot of hype. I also work in technology and know that advanced tech can revolutionize old products. After a couple of months on our Purple, I'm still very pleased with our purchase. It's hard not to find a comfortable position at night, sort of like what happens in the mornings with any mattress. I was surprised at how firm the mattress felt at first, but a few days made me realize it was parts of my back that don't usually bear any pressure that gave that illusion. I've had a lot of good vivid dreams lately, and I think it's due to the illusion of weightlessness from perfectly even pressure on my whole back/side/stomach.
