I spent about $1400 on an organic-pillow top-latex hybrid-fancy pants queen mattress. A year in I experienced consistent lower back pain and would wake up just aching. Also, I sleep hot and that was...a problem. I did some research and the Purple seemed the way to go. I found out a friend had a purple and as all good friends do they let me sleep over ;) I was sold and got my own. I no longer worry about back pain because it is gone! I now worry about losing my job because I never ever want to get out of bed. Thank you for your time.

Ending a long term relationship and learning how to sleep alone is hard. And even though I would describe the Purple Bed as "firm", it's definitely sweeter and softer than the self realization I experience while laying on it. I'm not sure if it's the bed or my emotions, but I haven't gotten a completely satisfying nights rest yet. For the money I spent on it, I hope it's just my mental health. Might buy a pillowy mattress topper; might try to find a rebound to enjoy it with. Not sure yet. But I can say it's a huge step up from what I had, and I appreciate it very much.

I'm 2/3 through my 100 night trial but to be honest I think the purple mattress, king size , is starting to have a depression where I sleep. The depression pops back up when I get out of bed but when I get back into bed again I fall back into the depression. I'm going to continue the 100 night free trial and let Purple know what's going on unless they contact me first after reading this review.

Once I go to bed. I turn into a beautiful gargoyle. Frozen in slumber. Once the sun arises. I do not hit the snooze; for it does me nothing. I am not stone anymore. Thank you purple; for a great nights sleep and a changed life. Also the dogs won't get off my bed. Too comfortable. ^_^

I was skeptical at first but figured I'd give it a shot because of the 100 night deal and I'm so glad I did. I've had chronic middle back pain for years and literally by the morning after night 1, it was gone and hasn't come back. I haven't slept like this since I was a kid. I'd buy this mattress again in a heartbeat.

After watching the ads, I expected a night of angels singing as I lay on a cloud. That didn't happen. The overall experience was not substantially different from sleeping on my previous mattress. Except that with my old mattress, I awoke every morning with a sore shoulder. So far, no sore shoulder with this mattress. And that was my whole incentive for buying the mattress, so... mission accomplished!

I had a chance to try the Purple mattress for three nights while visiting my son and loved it. I could not wait to get it. It took a while to convince my husband but when I told him I had had pain on my sides for over two years (I had to switch from stomach sleeper to side sleeper), that did it. The Purple mattress is soft but we do not sink into it - amazing. Best. Sleep. Ever.

Being a side sleeper, I have started to experience pain in my hips when I am asleep. Seeing advertisements that the purple was sleeping on a cloud, I had high hopes that this mattress would be the answer. Sadly, it wasn't. The mattress is a bit firmer than I anticipated and now I can add back pain to the list of discomfort. I will be returning this. On a positive note, the sheets are AMAZING!! Additionally, the customer service is TOP NOTCH!!

It's very soft, and it cradles you. My husband and I wake up with much fewer aches and pains. Thank you for making a mattress that's affordable to purchase without it costing an arm and a leg. I highly doubt we'd ever have gotten a new mattress with such high quality at the same price as this wonderful mattress. Thank you, again.

I'm a big guy (6'3" 275 lbs) and this bed is amazing! I've had trouble for a long time finding a bed that was comfortable. After my time in the Army, I have some back issues that makes finding something that doesn't hurt a chore. What made it even more difficult is finding a mattress that works for me and my wife. She's a side sleeper and I sleep on my back. Too soft and my back hurts. Too firm and she has crazy pressure points in her shoulder. We both love this mattress and look forward to having it for years to come.
