As I write this review I'm away on vacation and missing my purple bed sooo much. This bed is made of magic. I know that after one night back in my bed this back pain will be gone. Before if I went to bed with a sore back from work it would hurt even more the next day. Now if my back hurt when I go to bed it's better in the morning. Magic. Thanks purple bed inventor!

The bed was delivered promptly and was exceptionally easy to open and unroll. Much easier with two people than just one. The bed feels comfortable enough to sleep on, but I haven't noticed any improvement in my sleep and, if anything, my back pain has increased slightly. Still enjoying the trial period and while I hope not to have to avail myself of the return, I'd imagine that process to be as painless as the rest of my interaction with the company.

I've been trying for 9 years to find a bed I could get rest on. A work accident followed by a car accident have left me in constant pain. I bought a sleep number first.... miserable. Then a 7k Tempurpedic adjustable bed, which made me wake up in more pain then I laid down with. I had given up until the " Purple" mattress was suggested. What did I have to lose? I am ecstatic!!!!! I can actually lie on my back without being in pain. My hips don't ache. I wake up refreshed and NOT stiff. Thank you PURPLE. You have a customer for life! My daughter ( who also has a bad back) just got her new Purple for Christmas! I HIGHLY SUGGEST!

My husband and I have both loved this mattress from day one! I'm not as picky as he is about mattresses and I will say the first time he layed on the mattress he felt several sharp pains in his back from his spine aligning. He hasn't had any issues since then though, except that he can't stand to get out of bed in the mornings now, lol.

Haven't had the bed very long but we can already tell a huge difference! I'm 7 months pregnant and this mattress has removed the pain I was having with our previous mattress, which was only a few years old! We will be recommending Purple to all of our friends!

I have suffered from back pain for at least the last 15 years. I'm not over weight or out of shape. I've always been a small person, but I'm a nurse so my back definitely takes a beating on a daily basis. I was diagnosed with rhumatoid arthritis 2 years ago as well. I injured my back severely when I was 12 years old and was thrown from my horse. I never stopped riding because it is my passion. It's also actually really good for posture, strengthening your core, and balance. But there's nothing like being able to sleep thru the night and actually remain comfortable. The first night that I slept in my new purple, I actually slept for 6 straight hours! That was the first time I've been able to do that in 15 years. Since then, I've actually over slept twice, which has never happened to me before. My friends have always joked that they knew they could call me at any time day or night, and I would answer because I never sleep. They no longer say that about me. I'm so in love with my purple mattress, I could never give it up! You guys rock!!

I want to give the mattress a few more weeks to see if my opinion changes, but at the moment I am not pleased with my purchase. Maybe I'm too heavy for the mattress, but I feel like I am on the floor around my mid section and when I sleep on my stomach the lower back pain is unbearable. As I said, I want to see if that changes. my buying experience, however, was second to none - and I hope my opinion changes after a fair assessment period.

I'm 4 months pregnant and had a really rough first trimester trying to get comfortable in bed. I spent about a month doing research and watching video reviews of mattresses. I used to love firm mattresses (stomach sleeper), but that's out of the question anymore. So, while trying to side sleep, I noticed my old mattress caused hip and shoulder pressure points and no mattress topper seemed to fix that. I sleep too hot to enjoy any memory foam mattresses. The Purple original has resolved my problems and is just fantastic! My husband and I are looking forward to upgrading to the Purple 2" once we move to our new home and have space for a king.

The sheets are amazing, the bed is so comfy, etc. but the only thing is I ordered a dog bed and I didn't realize the large size bed is literally MASSIVE. My own fault for not paying attention to the sizes, but it worked out because my 3 year old and my dog can share it comfortably. It's the sweetest thing. If I could send you a picture I would!

I had a very hard time finding any reviews from very heavy People and the reason I decided to even post this. I'm 450# and the wife 180#. Interesting 1st night, kept waking up to see if the queen was comfortable. Now after 3 weeks or so, my wife loves it and I am really enjoying it too. I was real worried the bed wouldn't work. Worried that the bet would compress when I put my hand down to move, worried i'd fall off the edge, worried about most other things a extremely heavy person would be worried about. Well, I'm a side sleeper and I fall asleep very quick and don't wake up until it's time to make that short trip to 'jon' the back to sleep. Very pleased with sitting on the edge, yes there is the expected depression but not bad at all. Pushing on the mattress to move, again very acceptable and better than expected. I don't care about breaking or not breaking eggs, I do care about the wife and I getting a good night's sleep the Purple takes care of that very nicely. Glad I bought it and would buy again. Oh BTW neither of us bother the other when getting up or back in bed. When I'm in bed there is little no shuffling to get to a comfortable position. I'm down and fast asleep literally in a few seconds.
