Overall, I have been happy with the mattress. Good support and without painful pressure points. While it is much better than my last mattress, I do wish it had a little more support or firmness for my back. I feel as if my torso does sink down further than my extremities causing some back pain on longer night sleeps.

Its a 5 star rating on the bed but 4 star on the delivery patterns. My bed arrived yesterday, my sheets will arrive today but my bed frame is still being processed, I personally think the bed and frame should be sent together or at least send the frame first but it is what it is. I usually wake up with a ton of back pain but today it was very moderate which was probably just from being on the floor. Very soft bed and just the fact that I no longer have to feel my wife flop around on the bed is worth it to me, I think last night was the first night neither one of us tossed and turned tho. My wife is in the military and also suffers back pain and she fell asleep (no lie) with a smile on her face. No regrets so far on this bed.

I have wanted a purple mattress for a long time. My mom thought it was just a gimmick. I saved up and my mom finally got me one. I have had all of my best night's sleep ever since unpacking it. I found I need fewer hours of sleep time because I am not getting up so much from discomfort. I got my mom to finally try it. She says it's ideal for anyone suffering from severe arthritis like she does, and she's decided to get the softest one you make for herself. Unpacking this mattress is really cool!!! It opens up like a flower in a hurry.

The mattress is made of quality materials but I don't care for it. I've gotten way better sleep on my pillow top mattress. I will try it out for a little longer to see if I will adjust. The mattress platform is sturdy and easy to assemble. The sheets however are the best sheets that I have ever used!

I was waking up with shoulder, neck, head, and awful lower back pain. We went through a few different mattresses with no luck. Since getting the Purple I wake up with no pain. In addition, I normally prefer a softer mattress while my husband likes it more firm; the Purple meets both of our needs perfectly.

Initial review will update as time passes: My first responses to this bed were, "this is so fun to unpack!", "oh my god this feels amazing..." and "I want everyone to feel this bed!" Right after ordering, and during the waiting process (it took two weeks to get here) I heard from a friend who had gotten the king size that her husband HATED it and she didn't think it was that great. I had read reviews that were talking about how if you're not the right weight (150 pounds or above) that you won't sink in enough and get the pressure release as advertised. Thankfully, I am not finding this to be the case at all (I am a small woman weighing 118 pounds and my boyfriend weighs 145). I can already feel my lower back and injured shoulder thanking me for this purchase. My boyfriend says that he's never had such good sleep on any bed he's tried. We will update this over the 100 day trial period!

Our satisfaction with the mattress is still being evaluated. Some nights we sleep great, other nights, our backs hurt some by the morning. This never happened with our sleep number bed. I am also wondering if we bought at the right time as I don't know if we got a great price or a great deal for some extra things when buying. I don't particularly like when companies do "specials" and you end up feeling like you didn't get the best deal because of when you bought. Just make everything standard. Every customer gets the same deal no matter when they buy. Pretty simple. Verdict still out, on the company and the mattress, just like my review states.

I am very pleased with this mattress since I have a severe injury to my spine this is comfortable. When I am awake very pleased with the results. It all started with the cushion for the passenger seat bottom and back. The road vibration is minimized to a point that I enjoy riding in the car again.

I had had my purple mattress for about 6 months and it's life-changing! I used to wake up every morning with aches and pains that I had just decided were part of life. Since night one, I have not once woken up in pain! When I have to sleep in a different bed for the night, the difference is amazing! I wake up with the same aches and pains I used to experience. Then one night on Purple, and I'm good to go! I've also referred two more people to purple and they both love it too. When do we get a punch card loyalty program? Also, I am patiently awaiting the arrival of my purple pillows!!!

I was going to wait longer to write a review as it's only been a month since I bought the original purple mattress but I can't wait. I've told all my friends and want to shout it from the rooftop. It's the best mattress I've ever had. I've read that you will either love the purple concept or hate it. I can't see how anyone could not like this. It's soft, supportive, firm and responsive all at the same time. And very cool or tempature nuetral. I'm a hot sleeper and memory foam is out of the question no matter what they say they have infused it with. They are just to hot. I'm a stomach and side sleeper. This mattress is great for any sleeping position. You will look forward to bedtime. I would like to try the purple 4 sometime as four inches of purple has to be amazing but I can tell you that the original purple is a very awesome mattress. Come join the purple. You won't regret it.
