We bought a twin original purple mattress for our teenage daughter because her back hurt on her present mattress. After sleeping on it for a couple of weeks, she says her back feels better, and that she is sleeping through the night. We also bought her the purple pillow and booster, and she loves that too. And the sheets, and the mattress protector. She's all set.

We bought a T&N bed and we liked it but honestly..it was a bit "hot" for us. I would wake up once a night. I think some people don't have an issue with them...from what I hear...and it was comfortable but we were told of Purple by my sister and brother in law and they loved it. It was a bit more but the technology behind it and the fact it is not hot sold us on it. We've been sleeping on it now for like 3 weeks and I have not woken up 1x at night. It's not hot at all...it's super comfortable and supportive. My wife likes it a lot too. We are really happy and glad we switched...even though it cost more...it was and is worth it. The massaging can be felt on both sides even if only one is on. you can't feel the height/lowering of each side though so that's what i care about the most, as i have acid reflux i have to elevate many times at night. there was a little nick in one of the frames but i didn't notice it right away and there's no real damage to it. i was impressed by the customer service who helped us get everything according to our needs. i would totally recommend purple to literally everyone!

We had a memory foam bed for 10 years prior to purchasing our new purple mattress. We loved our old mattress but it was just plum wore out I was extremely worried that our purple mattress was going to be super soft and we were not going to like it. once we got it rolled out I laid on it and it was extremely soft and I was even more worried. we waited 24 hours to let it do it's thing and it's perfect it's not super soft anymore it's just right and we are extremely happy with our purple mattress. we also could not believe how fast it showed up at our house. it was a great purchase we don't regret it in the slightest.

the creative marketing was amazing and got me to try out the Purple Mattress and am very happy we did! It took a few nights to get used to but since then I really really like it! I travel quite a bit and it has made travel much less fun...can't wait to get home and sleep in my own bed!!! Very happy customer. Thanks Purple!

We've had our Purple mattress for a few weeks and we certainly love the feel and comfort we experience every night. It took a few days to get used to the sensation we got at first, which was that of laying on jelly. Now-and-then, we get a bit 'surprised' when we sit on the edge of the bed as it feels akin an old fashion water-bed. However, the Purple mattress really does provide the orthopedic support we need throughout the night. Our old mattress was over 12 years old, and while it seemed fine visually, my wife and I kept waking up every morning with severe 'morning stiffness' that included back pain. All that seems to have been remedied now with our new Purple. We are definitely enjoying our new mattress.

Overall, happy with the purchase so far but still debating if it's for me. I like the cool feeling of the mattress, but find it a little too plush. I also think it's more comfortable for side sleeping instead of back sleeping with not as much support for lower back. The mattress was incredibly heavy, though can be done quickly if you do it carefully. They should really provide delivery to the room.

My wife and I spent 10 years of our marriage on a fluffy cushion top mattress. We felt like we loved it, but I was also slowly feeling like I was getting more back problems which I attributed to getting older and having four children. We were moving and decided it was time to change out our mattress. I was pretty excited about purple after watching the egg drop video so I took what I thought was a gamble. It was a major adjustment going from a fluffy pillow top to a gentle smooshy purple mattress. The first time I laid on, I was expecting the bumpy fluff I was accustomed to, but instead received a gentle coddling around my entire body. I didn't know what to think so I figured I'd give it 30-days. After a two-week adjustment period, I had a business trip and once in a hotel on another mattress it hit me. I had my wife go and lay on our old mattress. We were both shocked and how painful those other spring pillow top mattress were compared to purple. Purple is not like jumping on a pillow or sleeping on the ground, but it is exactly what it says 'just right'. I didn't realize how poor other mattress were at supporting the contours of my body. My arms or legs don't ever get tingly or numb. My back and neck never get sore or stiff anymore. I wouldn't have believed it. I'm so glad that I took the time to get my body accustomed to a good night's rest on gentle cradling dream mattress. If you are going from a spring or pillow top to this, give it a few weeks for your body to relax into it and you will be surprised by what you thought was comfortable before wasn't really. I have recommend this to all of my friends and family (even co-workers). Smoosh and relax into your dreams.

After hearing about how much a friend loved this mattress, I decided to order one myself. The order and shipment were seamless. With a buddy, it was easy to carry upstairs, unwrap and get into place. The first night, I was amazed at how cool I was in the bed. I typically sleep with just a sheet in the summer, and with this mattress, I was able to use my comforter too. I was thrilled about the support that it's given my back, hips and butt! I feel like my entire spine remains aligned throughout the night, but the mattress is soft to the touch still. I'm very happy with my purchase and love spreading the word to friends and family.

It would have been nice if they had a delivery system that carried the mattress in for you because the mattress was just dropped off outside my house in plane site. Anyone could have come and taken it so I had to get in the house myself which was extremely difficult. We have had the mattress for about 2 1/2 weeks now and are still not impressed with it. It is much more firm than expected. I wake up with really bad shoulder and neck pains that are accompanied by bad headaches. Unfortunately, unless the mattress doesn't break in better, we may need to return it. It is nice, however, that it comes rolled up and set up was fairly easy. And don't worry! The smell goes away within the first week! One other thing to note, it is a pretty thin mattress compared to others.
