Ordering was a breeze. Showed up, was like a can of biscuits. We took it upstairs opened it up, like biscuits it expanded. We tried for 30 days, was too firm for us. Purple was nice and returned it, we donated to the salvation army. Everyone should try it out see if it works for them.

I am always a early adopter for any technologies, robot cleaner, fancy noodle maker, you name it. But till now the Purple Mattress has been my best investment! From the first night I felt that it's worth the money. As soon as you hit the bed, the cuddling feel wraps you up. It's been over a month, and I feel really refreshed every night! Their customer service is amazing. Those guys are truly eager to help. You can feel their passion to make your experience great. Now I am a Purple convert.

I'm a stomach sleeper but my old mattress prevented me from that position because of back pain caused by a sagging mattress. Purple has let me get back to my favorite sleep position! I've had some of the best sleep in years now! I look forward to the soft but supportive purple design! Very happy.

I can't believe we waited this long to get a new mattress, but I'm SO thrilled we bought from Purple. It really is unlike any other mattress I've slept on. Even sleeping on my stomach, I feel supported. I used to be in the camp of "layer the mattress with as much pillow top as possible", but I've been converted! Purple was definitely a bit firm at first getting used to it, but I've since found it to be perfect, and my pillow top days are behind me. I also appreciate the shipping process, especially during crazy pandemic times. My one tiny tiny little mention though, is the mattress packaging. A letter opener tool was included in our shipment to help open up the mattress, and we ended up ripping through the top fabric of the mattress. Must have been user error from all of the excitement!

I love our king mattress and base. Very comfortable, no noise and good alignment. I love the fact that you don't pay an inflated price for the mattress. Its a great value and better than what currently out in the market. I am a chiropractor so I understand sleep's importance and proper alignment biomechanics. I was waking up with shoulder and back stiffness an numb hands with my old set up. That's virtually gone now. Their marketing is stupid funny, very well done and gets the point across. Hope they ask me to be in their next video that feature a chiropractor. Oh, and the fact that they don't drown their mattress in toxic heavy metal flame retardant is another big deal to me. With as many toxins as there are out there, I didn't want it on my mattress. Their shipping was super fast. All around great experience with Purple Bed!

The first week or so was AMAZING. My husband and I were so happy with our purchase. BUT... now it seems like my side sags where I lay. My hips, and back have hurt the last couple of days after I wake up. Which, is really discouraging considering what we are spending on this bed. :( I'm going to sleep in a different bed soon to see if I can actual feel a difference and decide whether or not keep the purple or what.

I needed a new mattress for my spare bedroom but live alone and am not young anymore. My son strongly recommended Purple- he's had one for several years and loves it. It was easy to order, came within the timeframe promised and was simple for my daughter and son-in-law to get upstairs, unpacked and on the box spring. Thanks for making this problem so easy to solve!

Research and Purchase: My biggest hesitation with this purchase was buying something I never tried out as Purple only has less than a handful of locations where you can go and check this thing out. After seeing the commercials and doing a lot of mattress research though, I kept coming back to the Purple Gen 2 Mattress. Reading the reviews it appeared to me that most people either love it or hate it... and that was for most other mattresses as well to be fair It seemed that the people of larger sizes had more problems with the Purple Gen 1 mattress because it has no mechanical structure for the additional weight. Since I am 6'2" tall and weigh 215 lbs, I decided to go with the Gen 2 which is a hybrid and contains coil springs in the hopes I wouldn't experience the issues others my size did on the Gen 1. I purchased the Cali-King Purple mattress with the 3" Smart Control Grid. I also ordered the sheets and mattress cover. Preparation: After I ordered the mattress I built a horizontally-hinged 3/4" HPVA Birch plywood base to go over my low-profile box springs and beefed up the lower base supporting the box springs with additional cross beams and legs (17 total! you could park a truck on this thing) to support the additional weight of the mattress and to provide a solid base with no sag. (you cannot put this mattress on regular box springs) Delivery Process: Simple with plenty of email confirmations and status updates and I had my new mattress in about a week. The guys had a time getting it up to the second floor and to my room because of the weight and bulkiness so make sure you know where it's going because moving it afterwards will take some effort. (There must be a reason why handles are not installed on the sides of this mattress but they would definitely aid with moving it around.) I opted for removal of my previous bed. I don't know where they ended up taking it but I hope it's burning in an incinerator somewhere... First Impressions: Finally, after putting on the cover and regular cotton sheets, I tried it out. (The purple sheets didn't arrive until the following week) This mattress has a different feel than a memory foam or regular mattress for sure. It's hard to explain but it doesn't take more than minutes to love it! While my memory foam guest bed is really soft, spongy and hot, my 3-year old mattress (with a pillow top) in the master was considerably hard when compared to the Purple. It really does achieve a soft and firm balance. After laying on the bed I quickly realized how the Purple mattress was cradling my body and equally distributing my weight across the surface I was lying on which just felt amazing. I actually started to fall asleep within minutes. The first night of sleep was the first night in a long time that I slept through the entire night without constantly waking up and rolling around to get comfortable. I am a back sleeper but occasionally sleep on my side too. This bed seems to accommodate me in either situation. The bed isolates movement very well too so I wasn't bothered by my wife getting up to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night. The bed also sleeps cool but it's not like cold at all. The edges of the bed holds up when sitting on the side too, which was a complaint on the Gen 1 mattress. I have to say that when I added the Bamboo sheets, the experience became even better. I don't typically like jersey sheets but these are really amazing. They don't cling to you when moving around under the covers and are soft and silk-like. An added bonus... for me anyway... is that since they are so stretchy, my wife can no longer un-tuck my side of the bed leaving my feet out to freeze in the breeze of the fan. The Verdict: For me this thing is the holy grail of mattresses. I don't know how in the world someone wouldn't enjoy sleeping on this thing. Yes it may be pricey if you have a Cali-King but some of my wife's handbags cost as much and do absolutely nothing... and then end up in the closet the next year... and eventually the hands of my 20 something daughters the following year. Crazy! Anyway, I've had neck and upper back pain for years and the Purple mattress has seemingly fixed all this! So far I've been sleeping on my Purple Gen 2 for about two months and the most pleasant surprise of all is the near disappearance of my chronic neck pain! Over the past few weeks I've noticed that my neck pain was less than the previous day and today it all of the sudden donned on me, that I have no neck pain! AT ALL!!! I absolutely love my Purple!! I am so glad I bought this mattress! I have been sleeping soundly ever since and have no regrets!

I ordered a king platform base two years ago and I absolutely love the higher height of it! So much storage space under the bed! Then I ordered two more queen sized platforms and they are about 2-3 inches lower! Why did they change it! I bought a bunch of rubbermaid containers to store underneath and now I have to return them all because they won't fit! I'm very disappointed in this change!

I have been going to a chiropractor for almost 6 months trying to fix my back pain. It was helping but I always felt better after my adjustment only to wake up the next day slipping back into my lower back pain. I can't say that anymore. I've had my mattress about a month and I am sleeping better than ever. I read the reviews extensively before purchasing a purple and hoped I would see similar results. I used to have to roll over and push myself up because my lower back pain was so bad I could not sit straight up in the morning. Not only can I sit straight up, I am sleeping through the night (huge change!) and am waking up refreshed. It seems cliche to say, but this mattress is been better than I ever could have imagined. I don't remember the last time I slept so soundly. I've told family and friends to buy a purple for their next mattress. I cannot recommend this mattress enough.
