I was skeptical at first ordering a mattress online, but after switching to Purple my back pain issues have improved significantly. They were getting so bad I was afraid I would need to start medications, and previously I needed monthly massages to help with muscle pain. All of that has cleared up since switching to Purple, I'm a believer!

Prior to purchasing the Purple mattress I had a very strong back pain that made it uncomfortable to walk and very difficult to climb stairs. I was convinced it had to do with my old mattress. With the Purple mattress I was back to normal in about a week . Very happy with our Purple mattress.

Unit is okay but don't believe the sleep cool. I can't sleep on my back due to mattresses heating. Even tho I hated my Sleep Number bed, it was not as hot as this mattress. Second is the weight of this thin mattress. OMG this mattress weight a ton, even more than a Memory Foam Mattress. Want to lift or move it, you better have two - four strong people. Last is the thickness. Egg test does not accurately represent weight categories. I am a heavy man at around 350 lbs and as soon as I lay on the mattress I can feel the bottom whereas my wife has no problems. They now have the thicker mattresses but the cost difference would make me go to a Memory foam mattress which they misrepresent as degrading over time. Granted I am still giving the mattress the test period but will be going with a Tempurpedic mattress if nothing improves

This is my second purple mattress I have purchased I enjoy how comfortable they are. It's the best I have ever slept, I have told my friends and several have bought one and they love it as well. I highly recommend purple to everyone looks for a great mattress

If you like a mattress with any type of support, DO NOT BUY THIS MATTRESS. It is so flimsy that it caused nothing but issues for me and my wife. Neither of us have any back issues or anything like that but woke up every morning stiff and in pain. The only good night sleep I had the last 2 weeks was the night I fell asleep on the sofa. After 2 weeks we switched back to our previous mattress and called to return the mattress (this is when we found out there is a minimum 3 week trial required before you can return it). Both of our sleep patterns returned to normal once we switch back to our previous mattress and the stiffness/back pain went away. Would NOT recommend.

Although I feel your customer service has been great and my husband is happy with the way the mattress sleeps... I wake multiple times during the night. Wake up with neck and shoulder pain daily and overall I don't think the mattress works well for me. I fee like if there is a period of adjustment, I should have adjusted by now. I am getting less restful sleep than before I got the mattress. I am not trying to be rude just honest. If I can't get a comfortable nights sleep for the amount of money I am paying to "rest easy" it's not worth it. And it's unfortunate for all parties involved. Because I am not looking forward to continuing the search for a suitable mattress and my husband is overall happy with your product.

My sleep as been really poor the past few months even with at least 8 hours of sleep, so I decided to try Purple out. My back hurt a bit the first night but it quickly adjusted the following night. Now I look forward to going home and sleep because I know I'll wake up refreshed.

I had my doubts about this mattress that showed up on my doorstep looking like a large purple sausage, but it only took one night to become a believer. I slept through the night which I can't even remember the last time that happened. And the same thing happened the next night, and the next night, etc. I can't explain it, but it has to be the mattress; comfortable to lie on and wonderful to sleep in.

I sleep on my side or stomach. When sleeping on my side, I found the bed would initially be comfortable, but over time it became so painful I would have to reposition. When sleeping on my stomach, without a pillow, I found it very unpleasant to have the grid pressed in my face. As with side sleeping, it would become painful and I would have to reposition. To be fair, I've only tried it for one night.

years ago we gave up our hot foam mattress for one that let my husband & I choose our firmness. We realized that we missed the chance to spoon because of the '2 mattresses in 1 bed' problem; there was a fence between us! We decided to get a cushy, supportive mattress and started shopping. Purple was IT! We tried it in person, along with a few other modern foam choices, and nothing felt as good as Purple. Since trying out our new mattress, neither of us has had hip or knee pain in the mornings, and we are slowly getting used to the fact that we can sleep like a couple again!
