I've never slept so well in my life. The gel like feel did take a few weeks to get used to, but now I don't notice it. What I do notice is how good my back feels all day. A few months ago I seriously injured my back and I assumed I'd never sleep comfortably again, and it was because of me. I was wrong. After my first night on the mattress I felt significantly better. A month later, I refer to my back injury in the past tense.

I have suffered with back pain for years. Several trips to the Chiropractor did not fix the problem. I finally decided to take the plunge and purchase a purple mattress. It only took two nights of sleeping on the purple mattress and now I wake up with little to no back pain. I HIGHLY recommend this mattress to anyone. Thank you for creating such a wonderful product. I love the fact that my back does not hurt me day after day like it did before I got the purple mattress.

I have slept on my purple for a little over two months. All the aches and pains I had were gone. They are telling the truth when they say no pressure point. My hips and back have never been better. I am anxious to see how it does a year from now. But as for now two thumbs up!

It's OK. Not like "wow!" That is the best night sleep ever! I am a side sleeper and feel pressure on my shoulder. It's better then what we had. We had a 15 year old sleep number bed. I am not stiff in the morning like I used to be. I am hoping to get used to the mattress. We also bought the bed frame. We thought maybe it was a little warped or something not quite right.

I have had this mattress gor about 2 and half months now. I have to say I get the best sleep on this mattress. I suffer from constant back pain but after sleeping on this mattress I dont have much back issues anymore. It is heavy if your bed needs to go ul a flight of stairs either have muscle or help. I would recommend this bed to anyone.

I wasn't sure whether to buy or not to buy...My back was aching and causing seious issues, to the point of needed medication. I laid on my sisters purple mattress and within seconds my pain was gone. That day I bought the bed. I'm not claiming it is a CURE for chronic pain, however it DOES aid and mitigate the pain. As a former mattress salesman in High School, I'll share what my pitch was- You spend 1/3 of your life in bed (well in theory 8 hours) and a good bed will save your back, give you better sleep, make you feel better and keep you away from the doctor for back issues. I never write reviews....but Purple deserves this one. Thanks Purple- I'll be a loyal customer.

I wanted a cooler bed to sleep on and it is, however, the one negative that I wish the company would improve is that you feel the texture (grid work) of the polymer. The cover needs more padding as I can feel it through my mattress cover and sheets. I want a more smooth feeling while I sleep. Can you correct that?

So far so good! While I wasn't happy about the time it took to get my sheets, the mattress arrived reasonably fast. I have hip problems, and have used various memory foam mattress/toppers for a long time. They worked and are much cheaper than the Purple Mattress. However, they tend to be hot, not comfortable for me, and need to be replaced every two years or so. I am hoping that the Purple Mattress last much longer, especially given the price. I also like the fast response time that the Purple Mattress returns to normal.

We went out of town a couple of weeks after receiving our new Purple mattress. Our initial feelings about the new bed were that we liked it and were pleased with our purchase; however, while on a weekend trip to visit family, we woke up with sore backs after a night on the guest bed (that we've slept in so many times before) and started to realize just how much we truly LOVED our new Purple mattress and how much we missed it! Can you make a travel version of the Purple mattress? ;)

Seriously the best bed I've owned. I have chronic back pain from military service and I can honestly say when I wake up I don't feel it like I used to. It is so interesting to me that this bed is so firm but it cradles in the places you need it to. Thanks!
