We got the king mattress and pillow. My husband broke his neck two years ago and hasn't slept more than an hour or two at a time. That is until we got our purple! Now he sleeps for 5-6 hours at a time. He can sleep in any position side, back, tummy. Before purple he could only sleep on his back for a short time. Purple has helped him so much! No complaints from me either. And I'm picky!

I love this bed! This has to be the most comfortable mattress I have ever slept on. It is like your body just melts into the mattress. Worth the price! A hat tip to the customer service supervisors and representatives. They helped me with any questions I had. Thank you

I am really sorry about writing this review but it is true we do not like it. The adds are misleading and the bed feel cheap and is not so comfortable. it takes 10 minutes to get into a position and then its not bad but the minute you move it takes time getting comfortable again.

I like the matress. My sleep has definitely improved. My first issue is with the amount of plastic used to wrap and ship the mattress. It seemed endless. When I pointed this out to the customer service person, she nicely said I could just put it in the recycle bin because it's all recyclable. Unfortunately, it's not that easy. My recycling pickup does not take this kind of plastic, especially the purple tube the matress comes in as well as the two other layers of plastic the mattress was wrapped in. I'm still looking for a recycling center that will accept it. Also the gadget included in the tube to cut it open was at the bottom of the tube and unreachable. The mattress was rolled up that the grey side (not the sleeping side) of the mattress was on top when unrolled. That meant it had to be flipped. It weighs 100 pounds. I weigh 120. This was not an easy task, but I got it done. So after all of this, yes, I like the mattress. Improvements in packaging are definitely needed. A more universally recyclable material for a starter and then a consistency in HOW the mattress is packaged are needed.

I have ordered Purple mattresses now, one for me and one for my daughter. Within two nights my chronic backache had disappeared and I sleep better than ever. She loves hers too! Do it. I know it's weird to order something online without trying it out first, but I wanted to believe the ads. It's all true. It's not a squishy, melt into it kind of mattress but it is supportive without being too firm. I love it.

I have been getting the best sleep ever since we got our new Purple mattress, platform and purple pillow. I used to wake up with an achy back and now that my body stays in perfect alignment, I wake up feeling good and rested. I wish I hadn't waited so long to buy. I would definitely recommend this mattress.

I've been sleeping on the Purple mattress a few weeks now. I absolutely love the mattress and the power base. I am seriously thinking about buying a new mattress (without the power base) for a guest bedroom. Little did I know you were adding 3 new mattresses. Now I am thoroughly confused. If I were shopping for the first time, I would never pick the lowest price one because I'd think it wasn't "good enough", but it is great, and I'm not sure how you can improve on it!

I was suffering from what my doctor diagnosed as a neuropathy.... a painful quarter size spot in my thigh/hip which would wake me in the night. I had been taking Neurontin for two months when we bought our purple mattress. I quit the Neurontin the first night we slept in our new bed, and have not experienced any pain since. We've had the mattress five weeks now. My wife and I both love it. We also purchased the mattress pad and sheets at the same time. My wife did not like the pad because she thought it too noisy under the sheets. She does like the sheets because they feel warmer than cotton sheets, but I'm not a fan. If you like stretchy sheets you will like these, but I found them to be too stretchy and would loose them in the night. Buy the mattress.

It took about 1 1/2 weeks to get used to the mattress. We originally bought a Purple 3. It's a wonderful mattress but I still felt pressure when I slept on my side. We just upgraded it to the Purple 4 about 3 weeks ago and this one is even better. Side sleeping is also improved. My only problem with the mattress is that it's so comfortable that I roll over to my stomach - which is terrible for your back. If I can keep myself off my stomach I will be golden. You may think it's just a gimmick to get you to buy their sheets or mattress pad but you must. We had the Purple mattress pad pad on from night 1 but sheets took longer to arrive. We could instantly tell the difference when we put the Purple sheets on. Note* the sheets are very comfortable but they tear real easily. The first set ripped after about 2 months. The second set came as a warranty replacement and the bottom sheet ripped the first time we put them on the mattress - just by pulling over the corner.

It's comfortable, but not really more comfortable than our old conventional spring mattress. Please come and pick it up. The free pillow? We haven't found a good use for it. Sorry. We had great hopes. Maybe these two 80 year old plus bodies are not sensitive enough to discern the finer offerings of The Purple.
