My husband and I purchased the King-size purple mattress and platform base about six months ago. The mattress is very comfortable but I have noticed an indentation on my husband's side where the mattress hangs over the edge of the platform base. I do feel motion transfer whenever he moves around in the bed but I'm not sure if it's from the mattress or the frame. The frame has been a huge disappointment. We ordered the king-size platform purple base at the same time as the mattress and it is anything but silent. It doesn't fit the mattress either, it's several inches longer than the mattress which means without a headboard our mattress slides on the frame and we lose our pillows behind the mattress. It's also more narrow than the mattress which has cause the aforementioned indentation in our mattress on his side. Also it is incredibly squeaky. Anytime either one of us moves it we have to listen to incredibly loud squeaking that sounds like a really old metal frame. Given that the frame is advertised as being whisper silent, this has been a huge disappointment. It's so loud I can hear my husband moving on the bed upstairs while I'm sitting downstairs in our living room. Don't know if we got a lemon but it's a bit of a let down for what we thought we were getting.

We bought a twin original purple mattress for our teenage daughter because her back hurt on her present mattress. After sleeping on it for a couple of weeks, she says her back feels better, and that she is sleeping through the night. We also bought her the purple pillow and booster, and she loves that too. And the sheets, and the mattress protector. She's all set.

We've had our Purple for just over a week now and we truly love it already! I'm amazed at how much better my back feels every morning. I would often wake up with back pain in the past, but I haven't had a morning yet where my back has hurt at all. It is so comfortable! Absolutely love it!

This is seriously the best mattress I've ever had. When it arrived there was an issue with the cover having a small tear in it but the customer service was amazing and got a new cover sent out asap. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a mattress.

This isn't even remotely close to being what you think it is, or what's shown on the funny ads. Go into you dinning room and stretch a bed sheet across the top of you're kitchen table. BOOM! Instant purple mattress! It is the flattest thing I've EVER slept on, and I've slept on the ground. The only part that has ANY give (and I mean any give AT ALL) is under my hips. The rest of the mattress might as well be made out of wood. It gave me a horrible back ache for the first month. Still, and this is some what of a paradox, it's kind of nice. I mean, after you get used to it it's like "hey, I kind of like this bed." To best explain what I mean I'll put it like this: I'm not going to return the bed, but I would not have bought it if I had known the truth about it.

My wife and I could never agree on a mattress. We tried several different ones but one of us always ended up not sleeping or with a aching back. Not anymore! We both love our Purple mattress. We both get a good nights sleep and don't have to deal with being sore in the morning. Take my advice: stop sleeping in misery and get yourself some purple. You deserve it!

My husband and I were having back pain every morning when we'd wake up, so we starting researching mattresses and stumbled upon purple. It's worth EVERY penny. I hardly toss and turn anymore and my body no longer aches! I've also noticed that I've been able to sleep better through the night and haven't felt this well rested in years. And not to mention it keeps us cool, which was a huge box on the checklist for us because we'd get so hot on our memory foam mattress. Can't recommend purple enough!!!

I waited a couple months before posting a review because I really wanted to give a true statement . The purple mattress has one fault: and I only call it a fault because I need to go to work in the morning. The fault is it is such a comfortable mattress that I don't want to get out of it in the morning. I could just lay in it all the time. Well worth the price. Thank you Purple Mattress People.

The Purple mattress felt heavenly at first, but that's when it was on my floor (I was waiting for a platform base to come in). The moment it was on the base it was much firmer and far less comfortable. I don't sleep on my purple mattress every night because I get chronic aches from it. I've owned my purple mattress for over two years, and I'll alternate between it, my couch, and my guest bed. I was so hopeful it would help ease the stress on my chronic back injury, but unfortunately it was more hype than help. It's comfortable enough, but was hoping for so much more.

It took one night and my husband and I fell in love with this mattress. We replace our sleep number matress (glorified expensive air mattress) with the purple matress. Best purchase we made. We look forward going to bed everynight. No more sore back's for my husband. We have no complaints at all. Love love love this mattress.
