This company knows how to do it right! The order process is simple and the bed arrived promptly. The packaging is great. The bed is well protected, compact, and easily maneuvered with the assistance of well placed handles. They even include a tool to open it! The bed opens right up, ready for sheets and a good night sleep. I slept a little TOO well, not moving enough to adjust my bad back so the bed wasn't right for me. I contacted customer service and they were great! They gave me my options for refunds, and I chose to give the bed to my son and his wife and receive a 50% refund from Purple. My refund came WITHIN AN HOUR of my submitting the paperwork. Unheard of. Fantastic. And my son and his wife are thrilled. They have been sleeping on the bed for weeks and are still raving about it. They love it. Great job, Purple!

It's been about 12 nights since we've had our Purple mattress, and in all honesty, we love it! My husband and I are both combo sleepers (side, back, and stomach), and the bed has been comfortable in all positions. We no longer feel the other toss and turn in the middle of the night too. My husband is a light sleeper, but he has been sleeping well since we got the Purple! I'm extremely happy with our Purple now, but can see how the mattress may lose its firmness over time, as mentioned in other reviews. I'm crossing my fingers that won't be the case. Until then, I'd buy a Purple a hundred times over!

Our old mattress (pillow topper) had had it. Two valleys we had to climb out of each morning! My lower back was killing me every morning, too. Was hoping for a new lease on sleeping with the Purple mattress. Both my wife and I have had problems on the Purple mattress with our arms going to sleep during the night, waking us up. Side sleeping for myself is my favorite, but I enjoy back sleeping, too. When I back sleep, I am still waking up with too much lower back pain. So, we have a few more weeks to decide on whether Purple is for us - the sleep jury is still out!

Let's start with some boundaries: New Purple 3 queen Had it about 4 months now Got the pillows and the sheets to go with it. Initially the bed was very firm too much so to my liking but after about a month it was soft and plush. I also had some relative hardship adjusting to the bed. I would wake up sore and I really wasn't a fan but now that I've slept on it consistently all other beds feel hard and unappealing. Oddly enough my partner didn't have any problems and she loved it immediately. I've noticed that more nights than before I would sleep straight through the night. The main reason I got the bed was that I slept super hot and I will testify the bed is so cool especially when getting under the covers; Im looking forward to the summer. I would recommend a stretchy sheet such as the ones Purple sells or a jersey knit for extra cool factor but cotton sheets are satisfactory particularly on really cold days and you want to be warm. To anyone getting this mattress I would recommend getting to try it in a mattress store to get an idea of the feeling of the bed and the firmness. I went in thinking the of the Purple 2 as I enjoy a mid-firm bed but was too hard. The Purple 4 was too soft but I could see why it is appealing. If you can't try it in person try out the trial period and give it time and I'm sure the bed will adjust (hopefully) to your liking. The breakin period is relatively short but just make sure you sleep all over it not just in one spot to really break it in. In short I thought the bed was going to have short comings but a bit of patience proved me wrong and I love my bed I plan to keep it for the next 10 years and re-evaluate at 5 years. So far I'm completely satisfied and so is my significant other who loves it as well!

First let me say, yes the 3 seems like a lot of money, mainly because it is. But, sleep and health is easily worth the investment. The Purple 3 (as we will call it) came with free and White Glove delivery. Which is great because I have a bad back and did not have to lift anything! They even took my "older" mattress as well! I actually upgraded from the original Purple Mattress as I wanted something thicker and was more supportive. The original mattress is definitely for people on the smaller side.The Purple 3 checked all of the boxes I needed. It feels way more luxurious, has a thicker profile, side support, the coils are super supportive and you feel like you are laying on air. The Purple 3 feels like its medium firm and is great for me because I get support fot side and stomach sleeping. The Purple 3 sleeps cooler compared to other memory foam mattresses I've tried. I was able to use Affirm to make it easier to finance so that is also a huge plus. If you are worrying about the cost, dont, it's worth every penny! Thanks Purple for trying something new compared to other toppers and making something worth sleeping on! Note: If you order any of these mattresses and choose door step delivery and not getting it set up, be careful moving or setting these up solo. These mattress are heavy and can take some time to fully unwrap and setup. So get someone to help if possible but I did set the original Purple Mattress solo, I just took time.

I'll be the first to admit that I was skeptical of the Purple mattress, but I was not disappointed. My wife and I LOVE our Purple mattress! My sleeping problem has always been pressure points. I have had trouble sleeping the last several years because I will find a comfortable position and fall asleep, only to wake up about 45 minutes later to roll over due to pain and discomfort at specific pressure areas. My wife has never had trouble sleeping until she became pregnant with our first. About halfway through the pregnancy, she could no longer sleep on her back and even her side was uncomfortable due to pressure on her hips and shoulders. After much research, we decided to give the Purple mattress a try. At first, I was a little disappointed because I imagined that the mattress would be super soft, but it is not. I think a better way to describe it is supportive. When you lay on it, the mattress only provides cushion to the areas with the most pressure. The rest of your body is supported. This was a fairly stark contrast to a standard mattress that provides some level of cushion to every part of your body. My wife (who was pregnant at the time) noticed an immediate improvement in her sleep. For me, it took a few days, but now I hate going even one night without my Purple mattress. We tried the 30 day challenge extended to us by Purple, which is to sleep on another mattress for a few nights after 30 consecutive nights of sleeping on the Purple mattress. This sealed the deal for us. We both woke up feeling achy and tired due to the poor sleep. Even though the other mattress we slept on was a good mattress that I have called "comfortable" prior to sleeping on my Purple mattress, we are 100% sold on our Purple mattress and now that we have experienced it, we just can't go back. It is truly the miracle mattress! Although my discussion with pregnant women about their sleep is selective, the Purple mattress is the only mattress that I have ever heard of that a 38-week pregnant women slept on and woke up saying they had a good night's sleep. Like magic, Purple provides cushion where you need it as well as support everywhere else. We love our Purple!

I bought Purple-totally PUMPED because of the egg test, enthusiasm and sassy advertising. Slept great for about 6 months then the sag started. Cal king both sides. Our frame has like 6 legs and a grid support, so it's not the frame. I called sent some photos and they sent me a new mattress quickly and with no hassle. It's been about 6 months now and the sag is back. We've rotated the bed and it's just awkward now. Our sheets are plenty stretchy and our mattress protector is plenty big. I'm experiencing excruciating lower back pain and at this point I would love my money back. This mattress is just not for me. I haven't bothered to call customer service again because I highly doubt they'll send me a third mattress (which I don't want) and I know they won't give me my money back. I'm a stomach sleeper and my quality of sleep is horrific these days. I gave two stars instead of one because I really do think it's a great company and innovative product, but for me it's just not working out :(

I'm one of those kind of people who is skeptical of most advertising claims. However I decided to give purple a chance. Because I suffer from chronic pain due to an accident it is very difficult for me to sleep through the night. Since I recently got my purple mattress, purple pillow, purple sheets and so on, I have been sleeping much better than I have in years. The mattress is super supportive while maintaining a soft feel.Don't know how you did it but Thank you purple. Scott M.

The Purple company has excellent advertising, friendly and courteous customer service personnel, and what seems to be a very comfortable product (judging from a short two nights test), but delivery time is much too long. We were told 6 to 8 weeks when we ordered, but it took over two months for all the items to arrive. I would recommend this product to a friend, but would make sure they were in no hurry. Were the products in stock and ready to ship I would have chosen 5 stars.

This mattress was worth every penny!! It is so comfortable and I sleep so well. I have a bad back and I have not had any back pain since I started sleeping on the Purple mattress. Only issue I have is that I understood the mattress would help keep me cooler and I still get pretty warm. It is summer so I don't know if that makes a difference. Otherwise, I would recommend your mattress to all my family and friends.
