There is a recommended 30-day "adjustment" period with this mattress, which I understand. However, it isn't looking like my husband or I will "adjust" anytime soon. I loved the pillow when I first received it, but now my neck is really sore every morning. We get up every day after sleeping on the mattress really sore and stiff, hoping we will get used to the mattress and that it will help our back pain. It seems like it has made it worse, and the mattress is VERY firm - like a futon, only worse. I had really high hopes for this mattress and am afraid that we have been duped.

I bought this because we need a spare mattress. Our grandsons both want to sleep in it. I slept on it the other night and couldn't believe I didn't have to get used to it. Normally I sleep with an electric blanket, but I bought the duvet and it kept me warm. Love the mattress and accessories!

We had a pillow top mattress that was statring to have body imprints and was hurting our bodies. The first week with our purple mattress was an adjustment because our bodies were not used to being supported properly, now we sleep amazing and our bodies are not aching anymore.

Purchased my Purple about a month ago. Did three months of research before purchasing. It is definitely better than my previous mattress. Confirms to my curves and body well. I don't wake up with lower back pain. My children love it! I'm still in the honeymoon phase. I think I can proclaim love in another month :-)

My husband and I were hesitant to order the purple mattress without having felt it for the cost of the mattress. But we took the plunge and ordered it. The mattress is amazing and my husband wakes up with no less back pain. Our German shephard/golden retriever sleeps with us all night, when on our old mattress he would get too hot and leave after about 20 minutes. Also, the bamboo sheets are the best sheets I have ever felt. They are cool to the touch and incredibly soft and stretchy. Best bed ever!

The company is excellent but the mattress was not for me. I'm 78 and about 210 lbs. I felt tired when I woke up in the morning and it was difficult to get up from it. The sides were sinking too much. The company was helpfully with my return. They made all arrangements for GOTJUNK to pick it up within a few days and refunded my money very quickly. . Excellent customer service.

It's only been a week, but the bed is really comfortable. We got the New Purple 2 mattress and it came with the bamboo stretchy sheets. The mattress is really supportive, but provides relief for pressure points. We tried the egg test ourselves and it passed. The sheets feel nice but it's annoying how stretchy they are. When you try to pull them up they slingshot back to where they were. We put our other sheets on them and didn't notice any impact on comfort level of the mattress. Customer service leaves much to be desired. We're tax exempt and jumped through their hoops and they wouldn't sign our tax exemption paperwork to provide to our local tax office, nor would they refund our taxes. They insisted our receipt and email should be enough even though I provided them the documentation from the tax office stating that that those things weren't sufficient. I really want to knock a couple more stars off because of the customer service experience, but the mattress is a good product. The mattress was delivered after nearly 3 weeks and they arrived at the beginning of the 4 hour window provided. However, no one called a half hour before to let us know to be home. I would give the mattress four stars and the customer service one star.

I've had at least three foam-type mattresses of varying prices and brands over the last 15-20 years. I'm a 6'1", 190lbs active person who gets sore from day-to-day activities and loves a good nights rest. Once my last two mattresses would cause me to toss and turn almost every 2 hours or so and my rest was very poor, I needed to try something else. I put Purple, Casper, and Nectar on my list to test. Purple had the best return/trial period so I figured I'd try Purple first. I'm about 20 days in and the sleep has been very restful. I don't toss and turn because of hot spots or soreness from laying too long in one spot. I'm going to keep an eye on my restfulness for the first 90 days and see how I feel!

I have had the Purple bed for a little over a month now and yes, it is comfortable. I still don't sleep soundly through the night (I am a really light sleeper) but my back pain has diminished greatly. There are some mornings that I still wake up with some back pain, but it is not nearly as bad or as often as it used to be. One thing I have noticed is that I have been having a lot more neck pain than I used to. I am assuming it is because I don't have a pillow that supports me as well as the bed does. So, my recommendation would be to buy both the bed and the pillow to sleep comfortably. Am I am happy with my purchase? Yes. Would I recommend it to others? Yes. Well done, Purple.

I was initially drawn in by the clever advertising, but after doing some research I learned that the purple grid is truly innovative technology. I feel completely supported and cool with no pressure points at all! It really is like sleeping on a cloud!
