This is by far the most comfortable mattress I've ever slept on. I'm a nurse and I've been dealing with back issues for years. This is the first time in my life I'm waking up without back pain. It's a miracle. I love love love this mattress!!! Truly life changing.

I spent several weeks doing research on what the right mattress was for us to upgrade to. I was intrigued by Purple's unique style and I loved their advertising but thought it was too good to be true so I made the wrong decision by ordering a different mattress. We tried it for two weeks and couldn't stand how firm it was. We returned that mattress and went with Purple and we will probably never veer away again. Purple provides great support and unique comfort. I've been sleeping better than I ever have. The mattress was easy to set up and my wife and I both sleep great on it. Don't get me started on how comfy the Purple sheets are too. They're amazing. I would definitely recommend Purple. Great advertising. Great customer experience. Great mattress. Great sleep.

We bought two of the twin mattresses for a split king setup. Unfortunately our frame let them slide too much and we would always have a gap in the middle so we switched to a single king. However Purple did a redesign of the original mattresses to have a firmer edge support (which was needed and the problem for our twins) but by doing so the whole mattress is now significantly firmer. We ended up returning it and now purchased the premier 3 inch version because the mattress is amazing. I just wish we could have gotten the king in the original formula. Love purple and their customer service is crazy good. The return process was super painless. Our customer service experience is the main reason we are going to end up spending way more than we originally planned because we were so impressed with the purple company. Will leave a review once for new mattress once we get it to offset this one. 6 stars for company and customer service, but bed was really bad for us so stars reflect that, fwiw

Investing in a good mattress was a priority to me. I was tired of waking up with back and joint pains. I have L4 and L5 herniated and I have been waking up with back pain for years until I bought my purple mattress. This has been the best mattress that I have ever owned never again am I going back to buying any other than the purple mattress. I was skeptical at first but it has truly exceeded my expectations. I recommended to anyone with back problems, you will not regret it.

I'm not going to lie here. The shipping for your bed is garbage but the bed is the absolute best thing ever. I'm fine with waiting but I'm not okay with the damaged purple tube bag. Kind of a problem for me since I was going to reuse it. Onto the best bed ever! Okay so. I don't know about you but I absolutely loathe memory foam. It's too soft and on an air mattress, it's the only thing that makes your bed remotely comfortable. Yes I've been using an air mattress, for almost a year now. So to finally get a bed, muwha. Yes. This bed. I've used it before, my ex got one. Loved it. And that's a big reason why I had to save up and get my own. I can fall asleep faster on this bed than anything else. I suffer from inability to fall asleep, that type of insomnia. So I'm always tossing and turning, never comfortable. Well, with this bed I am. I absolutely adore it because I can sleep however I want and I'm in heaven. Plus paired with the Harmony pillow is like sleeping on a dream. I'd recommend this bed to anyone and everyone. Will it be for everyone? No, but I love it and will forever love it.

I finally was able to set my bed up. Its not as easy as it claims to be. However I do like the split king power base. It took me a little over a week to get used to it. I don't like the pillows they are to heavy. I readjust myself throughout the night and the weight bothers me. I bought the mattress protectors and they are way to big for the mattresses (two twin xl). I think it would fit a full size mattress or even a queen. Overall I wasn't happy with shipping, set up, or pillow weight. I do like the mattress, but feel like I could have went to a mattress store ordered something from there and had them set it up and be more satisfied.

From day 1 I didn't like this mattress. I kept reading that you need time to adjust, so that's what I did, gave it time. My husband seemed to like it more than me, so right at the 100 day mark we decided to keep it, it was summer and hot, and the cooling is the best feature. Fast forward 3 more months and we both are miserable with this mattress. I have woken up with horrible back pain and spasms and I am 100% convinced it is the bed. its very firm, and doesn't conform, therefore putting stress on my lower back. I'm a very active person, I play tennis, do yoga, walk, etc, so I'm healthy in that respect. My back doesn't bother me any other time except when I sleep! My chiropractor told me to get rid of it ASAP! I never adapted and it's too late to do anything about it, 2000 down the drain. My next mattress will have a year long trial for sure!

I've been using this mattress for about 2 weeks now, and so far it's great! I've been sleeping better, and my back is less sore than before I started using it. It was a little firmer than I was expecting, you don't really sink into the bed at all, but it's still really comfy. Would definitely recommend!

I've had back and neck pain for the past 10+ years. We've tried different beds, pillows, with very little relief. The last bed we purchased was a memory foam that was very comfortable, but didn't help that much with my back/neck issues. My wife couldn't sleep on it at all for a few different reasons. So for the past couple of years we've slept in separate beds. When I discovered the Purple mattress, I showed it to my wife and with all of the glowing reviews about how so many people solved their back, neck, whatever pain, we decided to buy one. My wife was able to sleep on it the first night with relief of her issues. Me, not so much, I woke up in quite a bit of pain. I also read that sometimes you need to adapt to the mattress, so I was willing to stick it out for a while to see if it got better for me. Finally after about a month, my pain wasn't bad in the morning like it was when I first started sleeping on it. However, as far as helping with my back and neck issues, I don't think it's really done much to help. My wife is still very pleased with it. One thing it did do though is got us both to sleep in the same bed again. I'm hoping that as I sleep on it more and more it will help me get rid of the pain I've been struggling with. At least it isn't making it worse like when we first got it.

After reading the reviews and sleeping on my queen size mattress for a few weeks now, I thought it would be better. My buddy has one but I'm guessing he bought the higher priced one with the cooling gel layer??? Also my sheets don't fit it real tight due to it's height. I'm guessing the cooling gel layer and tight fitting sheets might make a difference. Not sure why a mattress that you pay over $1,000 for still needs a special additional gel layer and special sheets to get the full experience. Still deciding on the 100 night guarantee...
