I am a back sleeper and my husband is side sleeper. Previously we had Tempur-pedic queen size bed (8-9 firmness) I loved it but my husband doesn't. Said it cause him backache. So we thought we give Purple a try. We purchased Purple Cal King and first month went through with no problem. Then as time goes by, by 3rd month my lower back and upper shoulder blade starts to hurt every morning when I woke up. I am a very easy sleeper and once I am situated in the bed I would stay in the same position up until next morning, not to mention fall asleep fairly quickly anywhere as long as it is comfortable. Lately I felt the gel grid (hyper-elastic polymer) on Purple is too soft and is not giving my any back support, I am 110lbs 5'1 and even I sink into the mattress when I lay on top of it, The pain is awful that I have to roll up towel to put under my waist, what we purchased supposedly is the firmest of all version. As for my husband, who is 6'3 190lbs as a side sleeper paired the mattress with Purple pillow, he said although that his back muscle sores in the morning but he preferred Purple than previous mattress we got because Tempur-pedic is simply too firm for side sleepers. It is always been difficult to find a mattress that would work on both of us, since we got quite different sleeping requirements. So anybody that has the similar situation like me and my husband please let me know the recommend mattress, we might try it soon!

We just love our purple. My wife is a never-move-back-sleeper. she would sleep about 5 hours and then wake up. I am a "move all over sleep any way I can bad backer." I would never be able to fall asleep and be rested in the morning. When we got our purple, we both immediately were able to sleep. She reports the first time since she remembers that she can stay asleep all night. I actually wake up with my back feeling like it rested. I'm a bit surprised at how good it feels. We opted to wait and see if we need the sheets. Don't make our mistake, but the sheets. That is our pet peeves our current sheets feel so stiff. I cheat and sleep on the mattress protector and I can't wait for our sheets.

Owner of a King mattress here. I wrestled with which mattress to buy for about 6 months before making my purchase. I'm glad I did some research, and read/watched reviews, but truthfully, the commercial is what grabbed me with purple. Also, YouTube has a lot of content of people doing the tests and giving opinions. My opinion is it's an excellent mattress, great value, quality product, comfortable, and backed by a warranty lets you know how confident they are that you will like it. I've recommended purple to everyone I know.

This bed has honestly changed my life. I know it sounds dramatic, but I've never slept better. I've gone from waking up often and tossing and turning to full nights of rest. I now feel refreshed in the mornings (like you are supposed to!). I would definitely recommend this bed to any who are searching.

We purchased a Purple queen sized mattress about three months ago. Since then, I have not had a comparable nights' sleep anywhere else! The mattress is AMAZING! The feel of it is a little bit firm, however, it far makes up for it with the way it contours to your curves and helps to maintain spinal alignment. This is the most recent purchase for my wife and I. I have broad shoulders and a stocky build, while my wife has an hourglass figure. She has not complained about the mattress at all and has also told me the same when sleeping on the Purple bed. The way she is molded to adds to her comfort (she has had a super soft mattress her entire life and said she would never sleep on a firm mattress) and has helped us to stop needing to go in for chiropractic adjustments every other week. This bed is SAVING US MONEY! We have stayed in higher end hotels throughout the US and Canada, and every time that we do, we agree that we can't wait to get home and get a good nights sleep on our Purple bed. I've spent lots of money on multiple mattresses. This is by far the best sleep I've ever had. I have hip pain due to a bladder issue/implant. I can't tell you the last time I'd slept through the night before converting to the purple mattress. I went all in. I got the sheets, sleep masks, weighted blanket, and pillows! Best money I've spent in a long time. I recommend it to everyone who asks. Everyone who has come over and laid down says the same thing. This mattress is incredible.

My husband and I have spent over 10 years trying to find a mattress that we both like. It has been a struggle because we both have bad backs and have different ideas of what a comfortable bed is. The Purple is the answer we were looking for! I would highly recommend! I just wish we got the free sheets that are on promo now!

We liked this bed so much we bought a second one. We are both side sleepers and went with the original purple bed. If you buy the purple frame to use instead of traditional box spring it makes the bed a little more firm. We actually prefer it to be softer so we are going back to box springs. You do need to give the bed a full 30 days before your body gets use to being supported correctly. It caused both of us to have a sore neck for about the first three days then all of a sudden you begin having the best sleep you have ever had. I use to need 10-12 hours of sleep a night to feel rested. I now sleep so well I'm rested after 6-8 hours of sleep.

I absolutely LOVE my Purple. I had spinal surgery years ago and have yet to find a bed that I am 100% comfortable in but I have found that in the Purple mattress. With my previous mattress, I woke up in pain almost every day but that is now a thing of the past!

You can't rightly have a "black Friday" special on sheets that take three months to ship. Especially when your mattress performs better with unique sheets. I love the mattress, but it is February 17th as I write this and I have yet to receive the two sets of sheets I ordered on November 26th of last year. Promotional deals are great, even though I decided to purchase your bed before the promotion, but I literally forgot I ordered two sets of sheets last year, and they are not cheap exactly. Luckily the bed frame arrived more promptly, or I would have been sleeping on the mattress on the floor for 3 months, just like back in college. Great mattress though...
