I didn't have my hopes up too high when I ordered this mattress but I was pleasantly shocked and surprised. I've dealt with sciatic pain for years and I hated going to bed because of the discomfort and pain with my memory foam mattress. I've had the People Purple mattress for two weeks and it is awesome! I can now sleep in any position with comfort and really looking forward to going to bed and staying in bed. I'm definitely sleeping better and longer.

I thought this would be great, but I really have to ask if this mattress concept was market tested before launch? I like softer mattresses, my wife likes firmer mattresses, and neither of us could sleep on this thing. We would both woke up stiff. Maybe you need to be extremely heavy, because I found when I stood on the mattress it was very soft. In either case, for the same price you can get a Loom & Leaf and sleep like a dream... sorry this didn't work out!!

We had high expectations in hopes to find the perfect mattress. However, this mattress did not meet our sleeping expectations. We used it for 31 days, and finally had to put our old mattress back on our bed. Our backs kept getting worse. I'm a side sleeper, and my wife is a stomach sleeper, and we kept waking up to sore backs, necks, shoulder blades. The mattress itself seems to be be good quaility, and service up front was top notch. I'll be calling Purple tomorrow to send the mattress back, and I'll let you know how that goes. Were hopefully the back service is just as good as the front end service.

I purchased a new standard queen Purple Mattress to replace a box spring type mattress.I think the Purple mattress is more comfortable.I am a side sleeper and I am noticing less shoulder pain now that I am sleeping on a Purple.The delivery went fine.I was able to set up the mattress by myself although it was heavy.The only thing that concerns me is that a Purple mattress is not as thick as a box spring.I hope the Purple mattress holds up well over the years.

We got a king size bed, with the purple base. We have been sleeping on the bed for a little more than 30 days now. For my husband sleeping is very comfortable he enjoys the bed a lot. I am bit more uncomfortable I feel like I dont get enough support and have been having a hard time getting accustom to the bed. The Pillow is very flat, if you are use to fluffy pillows or a bit thicker than 2inches, than this pillow sucks it is way to flat, I need to put a pillow below it then this one on top to get some

This mattress may be TOO good. I want to be on it all the time. I miss it during the day. It is so, so much better for my herniated discs than any fancy memory foam I spent my money on before. My back hasn't felt this good in years. Plus, I got my mattress very, very early on and it had a tiny, tiny defect in it (I would have kept it regardless, because the mattress is still THAT GOOD) and after a few quick emails back and forth with Purple, they easily determined that my mattress was under warranty (no rigorous tests, photos, inspections, etc.) and I received a brand new replacement just a few days later. I. LOVE. PURPLE. All I need is the PowerBase and my life will have reached its peak.

I was so excited to have finally been able to afford a new Mattress, let alone the mattress I've been wanting for the last 5 years. I have severe back pain from a swing incident in middle school and I had read so many amazing reviews with people who had the same pain and swore that this mattress changed the way they slept. Unfortunately, it is not the same for me.. I've had this mattress for a couple of weeks now and I've been tossing and turning all through the night every night. When I get up in the morning, my back pain feels as if it's worsened. The bed itself (my partner and I bought a cal king) is so much firmer than you'd expect by looking at the material it's made out of; if I'm sleeping on my side, my arm falls asleep within minutes. Maybe we should have waited longer to save up for the hybrid or something, but I can honestly say I regret this purchase. I am 6 months pregnant and this bed has worsened my sleep as well as my needed comfort when I finally lay down after being on my feet all day.

We bought two of the twin mattresses for a split king setup. Unfortunately our frame let them slide too much and we would always have a gap in the middle so we switched to a single king. However Purple did a redesign of the original mattresses to have a firmer edge support (which was needed and the problem for our twins) but by doing so the whole mattress is now significantly firmer. We ended up returning it and now purchased the premier 3 inch version because the mattress is amazing. I just wish we could have gotten the king in the original formula. Love purple and their customer service is crazy good. The return process was super painless. Our customer service experience is the main reason we are going to end up spending way more than we originally planned because we were so impressed with the purple company. Will leave a review once for new mattress once we get it to offset this one. 6 stars for company and customer service, but bed was really bad for us so stars reflect that, fwiw

Not one to write reviews but feel I have to on this one. First of all. Sleep has been painful for me prior to this bed. To many snowboarding injuries are to thank for that one. Waking up stiff and hurting. The purple has somehow taken those aches and pains away and allowed for the best sleep Eveeerrr!!! I can't say enough good things about it. Never thought I would think about a bed in the middle of the day and miss it while away. I wish I could travel with it. Thanks purple.

I bought this bed because of the high ratings, but if you have a partner who sleeps close to you and one of you is a little heavier part of body sinks down. You wake up aching everywhere .Don't waist your money on it you will wake up hurting everywhere.
