It's not like sleeping on a cloud. It's better. My husband likes a firm mattress, I like a little softer mattress. Sleep number, schleep number- we read so many bad reviews, it wasn't even considered an option. Enter Purple. We watched the videos, did the research, etc. Pulled the trigger and never looked back. Immediately began sleeping better, feeling more rested during the day. His neck and back pain has been lowered from a dull roar to a slight annoyance every so often. I usually sleep like a rock anyway but even I somehow sleep better. Better than a rock. So, like a dead rock, I suppose. You get the point. I completely endorse this mattress. So should you.

Ordered a full size for my 14 year old son who knew all about the Purple bed from adverts online. I was sceptical about the quality but bought it. My son loves it & I do too after testing it while he was at camp. I will be buying a king size for my husband & I.

I have tried a couple of other well-known, name brand 'rolled in a box' beds and find them too hard. I am a side sleeper and this bed is absolutely perfect! It's soft so there are no pressures on my hips and it's apparently firm enough so I never wake up with aches and pains. I've been eyeing this mattress for a long time and I'm SO happy I took the plunge! I'd highly recommend to anyone looking for a softer mattress. Thank you Purple!

The first week of owning the Purple mattress, I was concerned that I had purchased the wrong bed. My body was starting to get aches in places that I had never had before. However, I have now slept on this bed for just about a month, and I can proudly say that this bed lives up to all the hype surrounding it. During the first week or so, the Purple mattress was already comfortable, but it put my body into positions that my previous old spring mattress did not have me in, and this caused some soreness. However, after I got used to it, I can truly attest that this is the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on. I fall asleep on faster than I have before, I wake up more refreshed, and can get through the day pain-free. My wife who is 6 months pregnant with history of sciatic nerve pain shares these opinions and is very satisfied with the purchase. If you are on the fence about buying the Purple bed or can't decide between this and other mattresses, I highly recommend going with the Purple bed. Once you give your body a few days to get used to it, you won't be disappointed. If you are in the military or are a veteran, they also give military discounts, too!

I bought this bed very unhappy, Its made in china which has no restrictions on Fluorocarbons, The beds got a terrible smell, when we close up house for winter with just heat on, Bed got a moldier smell that wont go away, This is just like the Bob O Pedic,. Went out and bought a Serta I comfort, the Issue went aways it the old story you can make anything sound good on the Internet. But it just another scam you must try these beds before you buy it. And always stay away from a Mattress with a 10 page Warranty sheet. DO NOT BUY THIS BED there 100 day trail is a Scam...

I have slept on my purple for a little over two months. All the aches and pains I had were gone. They are telling the truth when they say no pressure point. My hips and back have never been better. I am anxious to see how it does a year from now. But as for now two thumbs up!

It took me about a month to get used to this mattress because my old one that I had for the past 6 years was very saggy and this 1 is firm. Now it is the best mattress I have ever had. Thank you Purple for giving me my sleep back and not being in pain every morning.

I have degenerative disc disease so it is important that I have a mattress that does not exacerbate the problem. Since purchasing the Purple bed a month ago, I have been able to sleep much more comfortable and I am in less pain in the mornings. I hope, that the longer I sleep on it the better I will feel. I definitely recommend this bed to anyone. The only thing I don't like is having to use jersey sheets. I don't mind the bottom, fitted sheet, being stretchy, but I hate the top sheet to be stretchy because I like it to be krisp and stay in place.

From day 1 I didn't like this mattress. I kept reading that you need time to adjust, so that's what I did, gave it time. My husband seemed to like it more than me, so right at the 100 day mark we decided to keep it, it was summer and hot, and the cooling is the best feature. Fast forward 3 more months and we both are miserable with this mattress. I have woken up with horrible back pain and spasms and I am 100% convinced it is the bed. its very firm, and doesn't conform, therefore putting stress on my lower back. I'm a very active person, I play tennis, do yoga, walk, etc, so I'm healthy in that respect. My back doesn't bother me any other time except when I sleep! My chiropractor told me to get rid of it ASAP! I never adapted and it's too late to do anything about it, 2000 down the drain. My next mattress will have a year long trial for sure!

Tried it out for a couple months and it only seem to get worse. As soon as my back touch the mattress it's in pain. Even my shoulder and hips. I'm a back and side sleeper and I wake up every morning in pain and go to sleep in pain. I bought this to replace my old one because it was causing me back pain. At this point i would much prefer my old mattress than this one.
