It was great for the first year, but very toasty. After the first year, the mattress also developed a divot where I slept, and I'm struggling with back pain again. Go with a ghost mattress instead.

Ended up putting my old mattress topper on it. I'm a side sleeper and woke up with aching shoulders. It's too firm. Its more uncomfortable in the Winter. Lack of insulation, means cold legs.

The "base" version of the Purple mattress is anything but. Coming from a memory foam mattress this one feels leagues better. It's more breathable and forms around my body better (side sleeper).
