I'm a back sleeper and prefer firm mattresses but hate the pressure points. Good support, no pressure points! Partner is side sleeper and loves it. House sitter used it for a few days & said she sleeps on side but can't take the strain and must move several times in night - but she could stay in one position on the Purple mattress all night! We love and recommend Purple! Note: It took one day for me to get used to newness of "texture", but was hooked by 2nd night.

Easy set up. The worst part was the waiting. First impressions are very good. Bed is supportive, and yet very comfortable. Probably the most comfortable I have yet to sleep on. No idea how quickly it will wear down or lose its comfort factor, but so far, so great :)

I'm a big fan of products doing what they say on the box. I bought a standard Purple mattress after looking at memory foam options. I tend to sleep hot, so Purple seemed like the best option at the time. First off, this is a firm mattress. The lack of top-side memory foam means you don't sink into the mattress (or bake). You don't feel the polymer lattice when you are actually laying on the bed (like the old bed of nails thing). Like memory foam, there's not a lot of energy transfer or bounce when you move, but unlike memory foam, the mattress doesn't compress much under weight. The polymer is conforming and supportive while still being soft enough that you don't get pressure point aggravation. A lot of reviews mentioned issues with out-gassing from the polymer, but I found what minimal plastic smell there was faded after a few hours of airing. Your mileage may vary. If you are in the market for a firmer mattress Purple is the best on the market. The 10-year warranty doesn't hurt, either.

I needed 2 mattresses, one to sit on and one for sleep. I have always been a huge tempurpedic fan but I couldn't afford 2 of those so I got that for sleep and purple for sitting. So impressed that I am going to return the other so I can sleep on purple too, for half the price

I have loved sleeping on the Purple! Both my husband and I have felt more rested in the morning when we wake up. I am a side sleeper and would experience hip pain from my old mattress. Gone are those days of feeling more tired after sleeping all night.

We just bought our second purple mattress because my husband wanted a king sized bed. Now we have two mattresses. The higher frame allows us to store a lot of stuff under our bed too. We are so happy to have this bed. It is so nice for our older bodies to wake up without aches and stiffness (up to a point!)

Being a chronic insomniac, I actually had an almost fear 9f going to sleep, as it usually never happened and certainly not for an entire night. When it was time to finally spring for a new mattress, we did a lot of review-reading. I'd tried the Sleep Number at the store in the mall and although I couldn't afford it, thought it accurately "read" my pressure points. It was way too expensive so after reading about the fact my tossing and turning wouldn't wake my spouse (very skeptical about that), it kept sleepers cooler (again, skeptical) with The Purple Mattress, we decided on the Original mattress and crossed my fingers. After one week, the promise of cooler, less motion-disturbing, restful sleep was realized and we are very, very pleased. The stretchy sheets also surprised us and we have enjoyed an entire week of restful sleep that I've never experienced in my adult life. Thank you, Purple!!

I thought I was getting the best sleep I could in my memory foam mattress. However after owning said mattress for 8 years I started waking up with awful back and shoulder pain. So I started doing my research just to find out that memory foam was just making my pain worse. I decided to give Purple a try and boy am I glad I did! I'm two weeks in on owning Purple and I have said goodbye to back and shoulder pain. Goodbye to sleep medication and hello to happy mornings! Within five minutes of laying on Purple I am a sleep like a baby! No more tossing and turning trying to get comfortable, just instant comfort! Only thing I have a problem with is that I didn't buy one sooner!

I never thought I would buy a mattress online without laying on it first. But with excellent marketing videos & the 100 night guarantee I had to try this bed. I was still skeptical when it got delivered because it was different than any other bed I've owned. We've had our purple a little over a month & we love it! There are no pressure points, it hugs your body, & it's supportive without being too hard or too soft. I had to stay in a hotel for a business trip - the mattress there really made me miss my purple! Looking forward to getting purple pillows next.

Purple mattress is amazing! My wife who has insomnia is able to sleep longer and more soundly than she has ever been able to on the past. Sometimes going an entire night without waking up, which has NEVER happened before. I suggest purple to everyone!
