I LOVE my purple! I train Muay Thai 5xs a week and really needed something to help with recovery. This makes my spine feel like it's decompressing every time I lay down for bed. Not only that I'm sleeping longer and waking up in way less pain. It was odd getting used to at first, but after a few weeks I'm totally converted. I'll always own a purple now!

Life-altering sleep

I haven't napped in 20 years and I've taken 3 naps in the middle of the day since receiving my Purple mattress. I usually cannot fall asleep without sleep medication so this is huge. Even with medication I suffer from insomnia. I have trouble falling asleep and staying asleep. Since the purple mattress I am falling asleep quickly and I am staying asleep all night!! It is a dream come true!! Thank you purple! I also am a hot sleeper and suffer from night sweats. This mattress doesn't just not make you hot it is cooling. I only wish I'd bought one sooner. I'll never sleep on anything else.

I was not as pleased with this mattress

I purchased a king size mattress about five years ago and loved it. I recently purchased a twin and was not as impressed I checked the inside of the mattress and it did not seem to have as much purple grid as my last purchase. I ended up having to put a topper on the mattress.

Shipping/Customer Service is the problem

The mattress itself is good. A bit firmer than the original mattress from 2015. Took weeks to arrive. I called them, they said they would look into it, never heard back. Fed ex eventually delivered my mattress, however, they sent me the wrong size mattress. I called them, but they can't help you on the phone, you have to fill out a form to tell them what you just told them on the phone and send pics of the wrong size mattress. Then you have to work with a third party to schedule them to come pick up the wrong mattress. Then you get the correct mattress. They did not compensate me in any way for the month delay.

I didn't expect this mattress to be as soft as it was. I expected a lot firmer and more back support. I can maybe see it working for someone else, but I would rather try another that was thicker and firmer. I don't know what to do now, and I have so much back pain.

Buy from a more responsible vebdor

I'm extremely disappointed with my experience ordering from Purple. I ordered a mattress and never received it, yet I did receive a pillow from the same order. When reviewing the tracking information, it clearly shows the pillow and mattress were delivered to completely different locations even though they were part of the same order and shipped to the same address. I reported the issue back on February 17th and have been trying to get it resolved ever since. Instead of taking responsibility or working directly with FedEx to investigate the misdelivery, I was told I needed to file both a FedEx claim and a police report before they would even consider issuing a replacement or refund. As a customer who never received the product, this feels unreasonable and shifts the burden onto me to solve a shipping problem that I didn't cause. For a company selling expensive mattresses, I expected much better customer support and accountability. This whole process has been frustrating, time-consuming, and unnecessarily complicated. I hope Purple improves how they handle situations where customers simply never receive their orders.

We have been loyal Purple customers for years, but the quality has declined. Our recent purchase arrived lopsided. The warranty replacement was made in 2023 and the corners never fully expanded. We've been trying to return it for three weeks, but customer service only replies every other day with no solution. We are switching to a different brand.

It's been 7 months since purchasing this mattress and I can honestly say I hate it. I find myself leaving bed to fall asleep on the couch instead. The mattress is beyond uncomfortable. I might as well sleep on the ground because it would feel the same.
