I had a tempurpedic for 6 years, and I started getting neck and back pains. The purple mattress eliminates that because my shoulder and hip is allowed to sink down into the mattress more! I'm extactic this mattress gives me the proper support with 0 neck, shoulder, back, or hip pain! I'm in love! Thank you!!!

The mattress is great, I've never slept better. That being said it took me 3 days of dealing with what was either extraordinary incompetence or ridiculous internal bureaucracy to get Purple to lift a hold on the order. Essentially payment was rendered by myself and accepted by Purple who subsequently decided to demand I identify myself to them by photo I.D and pictures of mail i have received. This is effectively little more than extortion not to mention it go directly against the VISA vendor agreement. If they take your money and then demand you I.D don't give it to them, report it to your credit company and work your way through the customer service chain until they give up.

We got a queen size purple bed 5 years ago. It was the best bed decision we ever made... until we upgraded to the king sized purple (basic, no springs) and the harmony pillows. My husband has severe back problems and I have arthritis in my neck. With purple we wake up *most* mornings without pain. 10 out of 10 would and do recommend.

We originally bought a Serta Observer mattress and returned it twice for caving in after a week. An inch on my husband's side and half an inch on my side. It was miserable. I did a little research and found the purple had excellent reviews so we went for it. So glad we did because we are absolutely in love with this mattress :)

I am giving them 5 stars as Purple made recycling of our mattress and refunding of our money very easy. The mattress itself is very well made. However my wife and I could not get used to it. From the other reviews I've read most people love this mattress, so it's worth a try for anyone thinking about it. When the mattress didn't work for us, I contacted Purple and they set everything up to have it recycled. After the recycling company picked up the mattress and I emailed the receipt to Purple, they promptly issued a refund for the full amount of the mattress without question. They have great customer service and standby there 100 day trial. For that I give them 5-stars.

This is the best bed we've ever slept on - period! He (the mattress) has now been permanently adopted by my wife and I. She named him Barney which seemed appropriate if you are into purple things. After years of hard work as a fire truck captain and two back surgeries, I've managed to find the perfect night's sleep with my new friend Barney! Barney takes care of pleasing my wife too - I mean what pal. After all, a happy wife equals and happy life! Barney has found his forever home!!!

I like my new bed a lot. I am not waking up in a memory foam divot anymore. I stop by and feel those beds at the store to remind me why I chose Purple. I had hoped for miracles, but I am happy with just reality. I do still hurt when I get up in the morning. But! My chronic pain was bad enough that we had no expectation of improvement. So, using that as the scale, the change in my pain level is enormous! I wake up much more refreshed. I do not wake up multiple times in the night. The pain is not waking me up! I sleep through the whole night. That, all on its own is HUGE.

Never had back pains until I bought the purple mattress. It feels soft and comfortable for the first 2 minutes then it becomes stiff and uncomfortable. Takes me so long fall asleep. The egg test is what convinced me to buy it. However, I immediately realized Humans are nothing like eggs nor do we have hard shells. Do not waste your money.

I have had my current Purple mattress for 5+ years. I used to have lower back pain with my previous mattress but have not had any pain since changing. In fact, we just bought 3 more Purple mattresses for the other beds in our home, so the rest of the family can enjoy the comfort. Highly recommended!

My husband and I are obsessed with our new king Purple. It's so comfortable, soft but supportive, and just magical for a great night's sleep, as well as other popular mattress activities. ;) The base is well built too, and doesn't move or squeak or do anything annoying - and the mattress sits nicely on it. We couldn't be happier!
