only been a lil ova a week we've had ours and def have less pressure and pain with my big sciatic nerve issues, so much pain... but since chillin, and sleeping on this bed. Due to my hip and knee issues it's way more comfy for them on our high up bed than our leather couches that i really luv btw, but goin down is better on my hip than going up like i have to on our beauty couches. so far we are both happy with our new purple king bed.

Give you guys credit where credit is do. I have been looking for a mattress that would give me overall support. I am a side sleeper but I also move a lot through out the night. Have my entire life. this mattress actually supported me no matter which way i moved through out the night. Some of the best sleep I have ever had.

It has worked very well for me as a 5' 4" 170 lbs male as it has been truly pressure relieving. However it has been the opposite of the spectrum for my fiancee. She is 5'3" 120 lbs and she complains that the mattress gives her a bad backache as it created pressure points. I believe it was not meant for her as the weight might not be enough to make the grid work properly. I will be returning it because she is not happy about it and will keep looking for something we both like. Pros: stays cool all night Cons: you can be too light for it to work

We are not extremely impressed with the bed. It took about 3 months to get the bed frame so we just had the mattress on the floor until then. It's a more comfortable bed then our last one but it is not the most comfortable one either. It has helped some with the back pain that the last bed caused but doesn't seem to give that really good night rest you are looking for. For the price we will give it a bit and see how it goes.

My wife has had multiple surgeries on her back, and needed something that instantly accommodated to her pressure points, but without sinking in too much so that the support kept her from sinking into odd angles. Since having the Purple, it is the first time in 3 years she could sleep on her back. It is also great for my lower back pain. We tried an Intellabed, but needed something less expensive. This is fantastic. Thank you!

Just an FYI - DO NOT BUY PURPLE MATTRESS. Although I thought it was great to sleep in we needed to return due to shoulder pain, they talk us into upgrading for the more expensive mattress and tell me the return is no problem, they handle all of it. I keep emailing and calling for instructions because the new one is on the way and the old one needs to be taken out. No one gets back to you. Now the new one is here, on the floor blocking my bathroom- they are too heavy to move on your own and the old one is here too, still on the bed. NOW Purple tells me I have to arrange for the pick up and donation of the first mattress or they will charge me for both. If I knew this I wouldn't have upgraded- or I would have made arrangements days ago. It might be like this for weeks- and Purple is NOT helping- all of the sudden it's all my responsibility to do their job and what they advertise. DON'T BELIEVE THEIR FRIENDLY ATTITUDE. It's not what they advertise. They are liars and falsely advertise. The sales team and the return team tell you different things, and then blame covid. I would have NEVER let the new one be delivered if I knew they were not going to have the old one scheduled to be returned in a timely matter- HEY Isn't that something THEY should have figured out????? When I order this the sales guy TOLD me it was no problem- he TOLD me to try the less expensive one first and they would easily return it should I need the more expensive one, so I believed him. When I called a few months later with shoulder pain PURPLE Sales told me I needed the more expensive one and said again NO PROBLEM with the return- well, it is a problem NOW- and PURPLE will do nothing- they tell me I HAVE TO DO IT ALL

I'm coming up to my first 30 days of sleeping on my Purple Mattress and those 7-8 hours of my day in bed have dramatically changed for the better! I so look forward to ending the day on my purple mattress, and my purple sheets! Cool and comfortable, and no matter if I'm on side, or back, it's always an amazing supportive experience. I've slept on foam mattresses from one of the "industry leaders", and there is no comparison, at least for me. Purple is a totally uniquely comfortable nights sleep.

What an incredible mattress! Have recommended it to my best friend and others. Was told the mattress would deliver later than it did which made me happy and allowed me to move into my home early. The free sheets were an unexpected and much appreciated touch. Great job.

I found this bed to be very comfortable from the first time I lied down on it. I feel like I get a hard spot on the bed but after rolling back then forth again it goes away. It's very cool, easy to sleep on, and I don't have any pressure points coming out red in the morning when I get up anymore. Simply I'm love it!

I purchased the: king sized bed; platform; sheets; and pillow. Shipments arrived staggered, which is not great but not terrible either. The sheets are of excellent quality; the material is heavy in the hands but light to the feel, and cooling to the touch. The pillow is made entirely of the polymer, which means it's quite comfortable but also very heavy, It is not suitable for people who like to move around with their pillow. The pillow comes with an inflatable riser - a nice touch -, but I found no need for it as the pillow is of suitable height for me. The king-sized platform was easy to setup and appears very sturdy. That said I would avoid purchase of the queen-size platform which features a hardware configuration that looks questionable at best. The tools that ship with the platform, and more specifically the hex key, is made of a softer metal than the bolts and will compress under use, causing it to strip. That said it survived long enough to get the job done to a satisfactory degree. Unfortunately, the platform does not feature any mechanism - such as corner guards - to keep the mattress in place, so it's prone to moving along the surface of the platform pretty easily. The bed arrived as rolled, and was easy to remove from its canvas bag using the included letter opener. Unfortunately, the ease of unrolling the mattress ended there. There are multiple layers of plastic over the roll and the bed itself is rolled right side out. This means that on unrolling it you're presented with the bottom of the mattress and must then - essentially - manhandle a 145lb ultra dense, floppy biscuit in an attempt to flip it over. I'm surprised this wasn't something picked up during testing because it turned what was otherwise a breezy setup into a nightmare (especially with a back disability). Outgassing of the mattress presented and odd smell, comparable to plasticized play-dough, but was not unexpected and is not toxic, and was gone within a day. Otherwise, the rolled format of delivery made the mattress easy to maneuver into the house and get into a staging position. The overall setup experience I would rate a 3.5 - I would recommend the team at purple look into rolling the mattress bottom side out, so that when it unrolls it's right side up. Furthermore, the queen sized platform looks to be of questionable build quality judging by the instructions (a single, elongated bolt with butterfly nut holds the two pieces together, as opposed to the reinforced grating and multiple bolts that are used on the king model). Sleep wise, the bed represents a unique and difficult to describe experience. It's soft in the sense that you sink into it a little bit, but it's firm enough that you never feel as though you're not supported. It's easy to feel the polymer material, which presents a unique texture that is oddly pleasant. Quality of sleep is good and the bed, while not totally movement isolated, dampens the movement of others on the bed sufficiently so as not to be a nuisance. Temperature wise, the bed stays pleasantly cool. Overall the experience of the bed I would rate at 4.5 - the quality of the material and the unique properties it presents give it superlative qualities when considering the price.
