Loving my new purple bed! It is Firm yet soft at the same time.. No sagging in the middle and no bounces when the other person gets up or down! The platform was very easy to put together. And y'all made it so easy to just lay the mattress on (well it did take 2 people) and cut off the wrapping. And yhrrr was a nice comfey bed!!

Like trying any new product, especially one this large & that I could not return easily, I was really hesitant. Price was a factor, size, & weight was a factor. But my lower back, sleeping in general, just was not working for me on a traditional mattress. And I didn't want to go back to one if I could help it. I was using an air mattress initially with a custom set up. Its an interesting sleeping experience, but if the mattresses constantly die on you from air leaks.. what's the point? frustration.. lots of it. Don't ask me how I know. You know what sucks? waking up on a sinking ship, figuratively speaking of course, at 2 am in the morning... SO, long story short, I found out about the purple mattress, all its "competitors" .. actually thought it was a gimmick at first. Watched as many videos as I could, read as much as I could. Pulled the trigger on their classic set up. I honestly have no regrets. I've had this mattress for over a year before doing this review. Their was that first bit of times, sleeping on the purple mattress where it was "Weird" but I had that same experience with air mattresses, so... is what it is. I quickly grew used to it.. FOR THE BETTER. Since I've been using a purple, my back issues have abated, slowly, but its happened. Glad I made the choice to buy a purple mattress, it really is an engineered godsend. It's basically the way the bed supports & cradles you without becoming, overly hot or smothering.. Ie, just eating you. It sleeps cooler than a traditional mattress as well, but not by a huge amount, so if your worried about freezing, you won't. That being said, a degree or two, can make a world of difference to sleeping comfortably. I've always been hot blooded, so, a bed at night, that stays a bit cooler, I can deal with that! I'm a big tall guy, healthy, & gravity doesn't seem to like that-but I get some real relief when I sleep at night thanks to this mattress. Really glad I made the purchase. Its nice to get a product, it work... & hold up to the claims made. Its a shocker honestly. My only advice is this, if your tall, go with the "twin xl" for a single sleeper, b/c twin is a bit short. (I don't even know if they still sell just the twin?)

I am a side/ back sleeper and my husband is a stomach sleeper so it has been difficult to find a mattress that we both like. We both LOVE our Purple Mattress! And, I can't promise that this will happen for everyone, but my husband snores WAY less now, and when he does it's quieter/softer. It has to be the mattress because nothing else has changed recently! I already have trouble falling asleep, and his loud obnoxious snoring would always start right when I'm ready to finally fall asleep, but not anymore!

I bought the basic model knowing they really didn't recommend it for users over 300lbs and I'm just over 350. I tend to bottom out with this mattress. I didn't have the extra $ for the thicker mattress so I will give this one to my wife if she wants it and wait to purchase the better one in a year or two.

Lots of reviews online and videos from the purple website made me eager to try out the best sleep of my life bed. After saving up the money, we ordered an original queen. Alongside this and during the same purchase order we bought one purple pillow. This was all we intended to buy. The website offered a free blanket with the bed purchase as well as $100 off the bed itself. The offer appeared suggesting we order a platform base and in bold letters stated "KEEP YOUR WARRANTY". This led me to conclude the frame was a required purchase of both the 100 night trial and any future warranty concerns that should arise if we ended up keeping our bed. So I placed it on our order. The bed came first, and we left it in the bag for about 5 days while we waited for the platform base to arrive. Eventually, we opened the bed eager to try it out and knowing our 100 nights were ticking away waiting for the platform to arrive. The rest of the items- pillow, blanket, and platform base- came on the same day I believe. I think within two weeks of the bed arriving. Since we already had the bed set up, we left the platform base in the box untouched and slept with the mattress on our hardwood floor. For a couple of weeks sleep was seeming to improve but I discovered the purple pillow was simply not for me, not to mention the rotten egg smell mixed with a chemical scent. Our pillow was returned hassle free. I appreciated that. We were refunded our purchase price and return shipping was paid by the company. Over the next few weeks my sleep seemed to start off being deeper and more sound and solid. However, this was only the case for a short while, up to 2 weeks. From that point on and truly since we began our 100 nights both myself and my husband have had multiple unusual bouts of back pain, neck and shoulder pain, headaches, extreme trouble getting comfortable in any position whatsoever, pain that begins the moment I lay in the bed, and obviously not much sleep anymore. Also, the zero motion transfer is simply not true. Even from the first night we could feel when either of us shifted in bed. That's even with using separate blankets. Now, we have made the decision to return ALL purple products and continue bed shopping. My husband was told the platform base could not be returned. We called and the issue was resolved in the understanding that it had never been removed from the box. We were granted a refund. Except there is one issue regarding this- we were told the cost of return shipping would be OUR responsibility on the 44lb platform base. The estimated cost is about $70 for this. Considering the cost of the frame and the refund for it, we are certainly out a small sum on return shipping for a product we were under the impression was a required purchase in order to keep the mattress under warranty. I am not satisfied with this resolution. The platform base is useless to us without the bed, and it was never made known in my checkout process with the suggestion to purchase the frame to keep the warranty that it would not qualify for a return or that in the event of it being returned the shipping cost would fall upon me, the customer. Overall, I am highly unsatisfied, sleep deprived, and in near constant pain since purchasing our purple mattress. I tried it longer than the suggested adjustment period and the pain is only getting worse each night to the point I am no longer able to sleep on the bed and am needing to take pain relievers daily. I am happy to have our return process for this mattress underway and will be glad to see it go. Purple, you just aren't for me.

This mattress is awesome! I've been feeling less stiff upon waking in the morning. The only problem is is that when I sleep too long, like 10+ hours, I feel it I'm my hips. I've suffered from hip bursitis in the past so feeling that pain in my hips when waking up every now and then is a little disappointing. Especially because the pressure points are one of the main things you use in advertising. Nonetheless, it is still a great bed and overall I'm pleased with my purchase. I plan on getting a pillow when I can afford it.

We purchased our first purple mattress in 2017 and loved it. After 3 years, we had a little issue with one side of the mattress giving in. We spoke with purple customer service, followed their directions in submitting pics and they sent us another mattress. They do what they say they are going to do. We are very pleased with purple's commitment to excellent customer service.

I had a tempur pedic that was getting up there in age and was no longer giving me support. Went with purple this time around and its been great! Temperatures are still cool where I live but I'm confident the mattress will be better than the tempur pedic was in the summer months.

I was skeptical about buying another mattress. We have spent a lot of money for them and have been very unhappy thru the years. I have to say that after one week of using the purple mattress, I have been sleeping all night! Definitely worth the investment.

We are extremely satisfied with our decision to switch to Purple. We ordered the king mattress and have both been getting the deepest, most uninterrupted nights sleep we've had. We also bumped up from a queen and love the space. The mattress suits all our needs very well, and I'll leave it at that without getting into the amorous details. Can't recommend this mattress enough!
