Being a stomach/side sleeper who prefers a firmer mattress this mattress is very squishy. I bought it due to back/hip pain. It does 'adjust' and is comfortable during the night. Have not had pain in the morning since changing. I'm still trying to get use to the softness of the memory foam. Still in my trial period, hoping I don't have to switch back to traditional mattress and keep purple!

It'a a pretty hefty price for this mattress and I have yet to fully sleep a month with it but so far so good. I'm so longer sweaty on my back on hot days and no longer need to have my fan running all night to keep me cool. My body sinks in really well but not as much as my friend. I'm more heavier than him so this mattress is more for mid to heavy ranged people for maximum comfort out of this mattress. Overall I like it but the price made me hesitate a bit. I'll end up keeping it and sleeping on this comfortable fellow.

I was initially really excited about this mattress and did a lot of research and trying out different beds before deciding on the Purple. It seemed comfortable once we got used to the weird feeling of it and liked it for a little while, but it's caused a lot of back pain for me. I toss and turn and wake up with aches and pain. My hips don't sink into this bed much at all and it feels like I'm sleeping on a board. I get much better sleep on my old mattress that's in our guest room. My husband complains that he overheats on this mattress and it does seem to trap heat in the grid. We'd like to return our purple mattress or try to exchange it, but we're past the 100 day return period so I haven't tried getting in touch with customer service... We should have went with one of the brands that has a 365 return period. Currently looking for a different brand mattress and we haven't even had this mattress a full year yet. I really wanted to love this bed. I'm bummed.

I purchased my Purple mattress a little while ago and decided to really sleep in before I wrote a review. Neutrality is the main thing with this mattress. It is never too cold or too hot. It it simply so comfortable and smooth. It will embrace every curve and pressure point for a good night of sleep! I recommended it to all of my friends! Truly the first of its kind.

I'm disabled and spend much of my time in bed so a comfortable one is vital. I find "purple" to reduce bursa and shoulder pain, I like the ability to change positions electronically (It could improve by having an automatic setting which would slowly rock a person throughout the night, shifting pressure points) I like the soft/firm level ( the area around the center where we sit could give more resistance. I love the vibration....although I've not figured it all out yet. Arm rests on each side would improve the product. Yet, overall, I love it. I kept my old bed in the room just in case I wanted it back and have only gone back to it two or three times for a few minutes. Wish I could have worked on the R&D since I'm so demanding of perfection. This bed comes close and I think with a few small tweaks, it could reach perfection. D. VanderHamm

I bought a queen size , 3" purple mattress with an adjustable frame about 3 months ago and it is the best purchase that I have ever made!! The mattress is so comfortable, I feel like I am floating. I have hip issues that used to be painful at night and would wake me up, not anymore. I used the white glove delivery and they were great. The only problem that I had was that the adjustable frame was bent so I refused delivery and sent it back. It did take me a few calls to get it straightened out, but about 3 weeks later it was delivered and set up for me. The adjustable frame is great. I love having the snore button which helps not only snoring but the acid reflux that used to bother me at night. I wanted to buy a king size mattress and adjustable frame but the frame only comes split on king size and I did not want a split adjustable frame. Other than that I am extremely happy with my purchase. The sheets are great too, love them. Some say that there is an odor when you first get your mattress but I did not experience this. I bought the pillow too and there was some odor with the pillow. I like the pillow, it keeps me cool but I wish it was a little thicker like maybe an inch. I love my mattress, it's so comfortable that it's hard to get out of it every day!!

I have severe Rheumatoid authoritis after about a hour of sleeping I'm in pain and I have to shift to a new position. After becoming part of the PURPLE FAMILY I sleep through the night!!!! If you have any medical problems like I have or you just want a better night sleep, I'd say run don't walk and purchase a PURPLE MATTRESS!!!!!!! YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT

I never do reviews go or bad. I have suffered multiple back surguries and I have had my entire neck rebuilt after a bad accedent. I have spent more money on mattresses at 60 years old than anyone should have to. I have not slept an entire night in over 25 years, until Puple, I took a gamble to buy the King size, as I had recently bought a mattress in a box. This was the best investment ever slept a full 8 hours night one and ever since, now I sleep to good and don't want to get out of the Puple Bed. I also recomend the Sheets OMG Best ever. I am a big Marine veteran 6' tall 275.if it works for a Marine it will work for you.

Purchased for our adjustable beds in our future retirement house. I had purchased the mattresses without telling my wife. I was gone on a flight when my wife traveled down to the house, to do some decorating. She set them up herself and it was such a Sweet surprise! She Loves them!! I traveled down and slept so amazing! My wife is still at the retirement house. I am going to need one to get her to come back home!!!

No exaggeration, I have woken up with back pain every morning for the last two years due to an old, shoddy mattress. I just figured it was normal. My girlfriend finally convinced me to get one of these after a friend recommended it to us and day one of waking up on the new mattress I was pain free. I was shocked, not just less pain, no pain... I couldn't be happier with this mattress so far!
