My husband was not thrilled at me ordering a mattress online. I tease him calling him princess and the pea when it comes to sleeping. Had a temper pedic looked at a new temper pedic split king could not get over the price. What got my attention was their funny videos and a friend had a Purple mattress. Did my research and I felt I was making the best decision for what we needed and wanted. My husband had neck surgery 3 artificial disks in his neck. If he does not get the support he needs he suffers for days. Easy set up we got split king, power base, pillows, mattress protector and sheets. After the second night my husband told me this is one of the best purchases I have ever made worth the money. Had our last mattress for 10 years. Once we got the new bed I did not realize had bad I was sleeping. I wake up with no aches and feel refreshed. I am telling all my friends if you need a new mattress check out Purple. We were in search of a new mattress due to ours being old and from the discomfort. We were read through many reviews on the Purple Mattress and decided this would be the best option. After the first night, we woke up and was not very pleased with mattress. So we said maybe it is just because it is new. After two and half weeks, it doesnt seem to be getting any better! We wake up, our backs hurt and my hips hurt. We have been seriously thinking about calling to return the mattress. Please help! What are we doing wrong? Does it make a difference if it's on a platform?

I was apprehensive about buying a mattress online. I grew up in the 70s and 80s. My family went to mattress stores and warehouses testing out beds. It was a long process. Buying a mattress online was a little too convenient. After thirty days of sleeping on the Purple I'm happy I took the chance. I'm in my 40s, I have some aches and pains in the mornings. This mattress really helps. It gives just enough and hugs just enough. I don't like really soft mattresses that don't allow free movement and memory foam feels too hot to me. I can turn over on this mattress without having that sinking feeling. The material they use compresses quite a bit without feeling too spongy and bounces right back when you get up. Air flow is great. Overall, a great mattress.

We were very excited to receive our new bed. Unfortunately my husband and I are 100% side sleepers with shoulder and or back pain. Our results are unlike the testimonials you see on the site. Day one we were pretty apprehensive, the mattress seemed a bit firm, and we didn't sleep much. It was definitely comfortable to lay in or watch tv and I felt supported. Unfortunately, we are about 30 days in and pain has got worse, and so has the sleeping. We tried different sheets and pillows like the site says. It ultimately it is a bit too firm for us. But we are miserable in most beds...

I don't think my wife and I were so eager to receive something in the mail as we were with the Purple bed. From the first night we got it, I have slept better then ever. I average about 4-5 hours of sleep a day and now wake up feeling better then my previous mattress. My wife who has numerous pains and aches now has less pain because of how the bed supports her body. Now we are just waiting for the pillows.

I like this cushion alot it helps to sit on something with support but is still soft enough for comfort. The only thing that i was surprised about is the cushion gets thicker to thinner from back to front. This is fine when using it as a single layer cushion but when doubling it up for a thicker support you tend to sit on an angle since one side is thinner. Other then that this cushion is great.

I'm 5'7", just under 200#, side sleeper, neck and back pain in the morning. My wife, 5'8", a lady doesn't tell (my guess is 130#), side sleeper, neck and back pain in the morning. The previous mattress was old and in a dire need to be replaced. So far, two weeks in, my wife is loving it and I'm loving it. I was very hesitant at first, did research on 'bed in boxes' for about 3 years (yeah) and the final purchase came down to this and the Brooklyn Mattress. We pulled the trigger on this one and I'm glad we did. FedEx did have some challenges delivering but there was also some snow storms going on at the time. It finally arrived two days later than expected (had to sleep on the couch those two days as the wife and I moved the old mattress out into the garage the morning we thought we were originally getting but can't blame Purple for FedEx). It's a king so moving it was somewhat of a challenge but my wife and I handled it, no problems. Unpacking wasn't a challenge either, however we didn't get the blade they talked about either but made do with a scissors. Unrolling onto the new bedframe we purchased for this mattress was also relatively easy although I think I was more frustrated than my wife for a couple brief moments. I just wanted to lay down. No strong odor, which my wife would have called shenanigans on due to her extremely strong sense of smell, so that was a relief. The mattress seems firm, which would have been another deal breaker for my wife, but after you lay on it, it's like freaking awesome. I have zero problems going to sleep now and waking up I have much less problems with my back pain. I did upgrade my pillow to a different brand pillow and that also helped with my neck pain. My wife's back pains still persist however she claims her neck pains are not as bad and her back pain is not as bad. If there is any negative, it's that my wife says it is a bit chilly - we sleep at 62 degrees at night in southern WI so the trick is layers. She remedied her cold body to using her body pillow again, which she normally uses any ways. I think if threw some flannel sheets on in the winter, she would also be fine. This mattress will be total heaven in the hot, humid days of summer. Overall, would recommend and will probably buy a new one since it does sleep cooler and we have a daughter that sleeps very warm and I'm sure she would love this mattress for the hot summer days ahead.

A co-worker brought his Purple seat pad into work and after just an hour sitting on it, I knew I wanted more Purple products in my life. I ordered the king size mattress and after a very easy time opening and setting it up I have had night after night of good sleep and less joint pains in the morning. Get some Purple in your life!

I have had a tempurpedic and a casper mattress. I have had herniated discs in my back from weight lifting injuries as well as slight scoliosis. I have never been able to find a mattress that I can sleep on throughout the night without tossing and turning because of the pressure points on my spine. Purple's design seriously eliminates all pressure points and I'm not doctor but I'd like to say it is helping my scoliosis realign. I HIGHLY recommend this mattress.

I sleep on my side most. My shoulder, arm and back always hurt in the morning. Purple is great, I sink in enough so my arm is comfortable and get the support I need for my back. Great mattress, great price, and customer service is fantastic. They got back to me and answered my question in one day!
