Granted, hauling it upstairs took some effort, but well with the effort! The mattress is exactly as advertised. I even took a raw egg (in a ziplock bag!) and pressed into the mattress. It did not break. Very cooling to sleep on and virtually no movement it transmitted through the mattress at all! I will buy another (just not today)! Last note: The Purple Pillow is fantastic as well.

Have had the king size Purple mattress for about 60 days. My wife and I love it! Previously, my wife had been having restless sleep and waking up w/ back pains. But for last 60 days, no more pains in morning and she has been sleeping well. For myself, I've been sleeping comfortably and waking up w/out being tired. Also I enjoy how cool the mattress is. I took about 2-3 months researching mattress before deciding on Purple. We made the right choice! If you're on the fence, go w/ Purple!

We puchased our first purple mattress a few years ago for our master bedroom.  My husband had been having terrible back pain, unable to do daily tasks, and to the point of seeing a doctor.(which my husband avoids drs at all costs) This compounded with not being able to sleep. ​When we switched to the purple mattress,  it was an immediate change for him. He slept through the night and no longer was having back pain. 3 years later,  he litterally has no issues with his back. At first I was skeptical as I had been a pillowtop mattress girl. The first few weeks were an adjustment for me. I began to wake up with discomfort, but in reality,  as I look back, it was my body readjusting to the correct posture.  After a few weeks, I also never slept so good.  I will not sleep on anything else now, Im spoiled. I dread vacations as I hate sleeping on any other mattress now except our purple. I litterally look forward to getting home and having a good nights sleep again. This latest purchase,  which is our 2nd purple mattress, is for our new RV. After returning from our last family vacation, both of our backs were hurting. Within a few days of being home and sleeping on our bed, my back went back to normal from being hunched over and hurting to even move. We discussed getting an RV and putting a purple mattress in it for future trips. So thats what we did! I look forward to our next vacation and know I will actually get a good nights sleep and not come home with a jacked up back. I have recommended the purple matress to my sister, who has also purchased 2 and loves them. I would Seriously recommend this mattress to everyone. As skeptical as I was in the beginning when my husband ordered our first purple ( Which he now reminds and pokes fun at me for)  I am a loyal purple customer for life!

I grew up sleeping on my stomach and could never sleep on my back. I thought it was never possible. Fast forward 26 years and behold, I can now sleep on my back comfortably. I love my product and recommend it to all my friends. My wife basically calls me a walking advertisement for Purple, now I want to share my short story with you all. It is a great investment.

I'm in my mid-fifties, so I've had a few mattresses in my life, and I believe Purple has done it.. they've built a better mattress! Driving a package car around for the last 25 years has created more wear and tear on my back and the Purple Mattress has done its job to alleviate the pain.

We've had our mattress now for about a month and so far we really like it, but I'll admit it took some getting used to after sleeping on a traditional pillow top mattress my whole life. It's not as "soft" as I thought it would be, but it provides the most incredible support for my back and hips. My only complaint about the experience was the delivery. We had a single guy show up to deliver this 200 lb mattress up a flight of stairs. Needless to say he struggled and asked my wife (who was the one home) if she could help. Not exactly "white glove" delivery. What's worse, he tried dragging it up the stairs with the filthy shipping plastic on leaving my stairs black. I contacted Purple and their response was a bit disheartening... they said I would need to contact the freight company to file a claim and try to get reimbursed to have my carpets cleaned. I'm sorry, but this is NOT white glove service as advertised, and I don't know why I have to manage your suppliers for you. Disappointed in this lever of customer service... hoping I don't have to experience it again for a warranty issue.

It is close to week 3 of sleeping on my Purple mattress and I'm on the fence about keeping it. Some of my aches have been alleviated and the pressure point alleviation technology of Purple seems to be working, which is great. However, the mattress just doesn't really feel comfortable. It has a firmness that you just don't "sink" into or get very comfortable in and what I can only describe as somewhat of a "clinical" or hospital bed type feel. At time it feels like my feet are "floating", however, this may be due to the pressure point alleviation tech. Another issue I had was with Purple's customer service. I signed up to receive updates regarding my order via Facebook Messenger and during this process I sent Purple several messages about the status of my mattress (as it took almost a month to receive) and only received automated responses. If you indicate that you are going to provide customer service through any channel, then you should support that channel, otherwise, please do not offer it! After getting no response, I called Purple directly and they claimed there was a staffing issue with their FB Messenger support, however, when I checked Purple's Facebook page, I noticed that someone from Purple was responding almost instantly to everyone, and I mean EVERYONE that had an inquiry or concern. If it had not been for this, I may have given Purple 4 stars. Also, it was apparent to me that they are understaffed and their lead times for mattress delivery were longer than I expected.

Not going to lie I thought I was going to hate it after the 4th day of trying it out, but I am just one of those people who CAN'T stand a bed that isn't mine. It took some time, but after the initial adjustment period I CAN HARDLY GET MY SELF OUT OF BED because I just din't want to leave the comfort! Highly recommended!

I'm only 2 wks into the trial period and have physical damage so this review won't help healthy spines. Downsized from a king Seally to full OG Purple. I weigh 130 #s and I have an adjustable bed frame.The mattress helps relieve pressure in my shoulder but it offers no support for my spine and sacrum. I'm not sure I will keep it. My previous seally mattress did not have me wake up in pain every day like the purple does.

This mattress has been amazing. I tried sleeping on another mattress over the holidays and I couldn't wait to get home to get back in my own bed. Didn't realize what a difference the purple made until I slept on a different mattress. Super happy with my purchase
