It's all the best things about a memory foam mattress without the downsides (heat trapping, loosing shape, that quicksand feeling of not being able to get out of bed). I LOVE it. It has significant reduced my lower back pain, and my body got used to it immediately.

After owning the Original Purple Mattress for about three months now. I can definitely say I'm getting a lot better sleep now then I ever was before. The biggest thing for me was I'm a hot sleeper and I noticed how much cooler this mattress is compared to others I tried out! It's definitely a different kind of mattress compared to others but once you get use to it, boy does feel more comfortable then others. Definitely recommend it!

Got the mattress out of the box and laid it still vacuumed sealed on the box spring, I cut the seal and that was it. Every night since then, I have had the best nights of sleep that I have ever had. I have not even woken up with a sore back since I have had the purple mattress. My wife and I love it! Thanks Purple Mattress.

I purchased a twin mattress for my teenage daughter who has scoliosis. She has chronic pain in her lower back and hips due to the curvature of her spine. She was sleeping on a traditional spring mattress and would wake up in pain every morning. We did our research and chose the Purple mattress for her (along with the mattress protector). She has noticed a significant reduction in pain and says she sleeps better throughout the night as well. We are truly grateful and highly recommend this mattress!

My side is fantastic. Me and my partner both agree this is the best mattress we've ever had. However, he claims that the material settles in such a way that his body leaves a slight impression that he sinks into. My idea is that it's the foam underneath that's settling, since the purple material feels the same to me. I told him well rotate the mattress to get the foam the same on both sides; Still--fantastic mattress!! Great buy!

Purple does a really great job marketing their mattress, I will say that. Ordering and delivery were quick and easy. I was pumped to get my new Purple! Once I started sleeping on my new Purple, my arms and hands started falling asleep which as you can imagine, is not a good proponent for a good night's rest. The purple is thin and feels insignificant. It felt cheap. I track my sleep on my smartwatch and my deep sleep dropped from about 90 minutes a night to sometimes as low as 15 minutes to around 45 minutes. You know when you finally get in bed at night and you have the feeling of "ahhh it's great to be in bed"- well I never had that getting into the Purple. I never had the desire to get in bed to watch a movie or read. To sum it up, the Purple mattress is just MEH. I returned mine and got a Saatva.

I haven't been able to sleep on my back comfortably in a few years. Now with this mattress I can finally sleep on my back again without discomfort and I stay asleep longer. I dreamed about getting a purple for years and even tried one out in a showroom once. I'm so glad we finally upgraded and I am NOT disappointed.

I was expecting some crazy comfortable mattress but it doesn't feel revolutionary like they claim. I've been thinking of sending it back but I'll see if it grows on me. I mean it's comfortable but so are a lot of other beds I've tried. I guess it just comes down to preference and at the moment I prefer something different.

My boyfriend and I compete in track and field at the collegiate level and are prone to injury. He has severe back problems and I have hip problems due to competing in the hurdles. We have never slept so well on a mattress. Both of our back pain is beginning to go away and sleeping on the purple pillows has helped with the stiffness he gets in his neck. The sheets are the softest fabric I've ever slept on. We also cannot sleep if we get too hot but since we have gotten this mattress we have not had any issues waking up in a sweat or tossing and turning from being uncomfortably hot because of the cooling nature of the bed and pillows. We bought this mattress because our old one was so soft and we couldn't get out of the indentations we'd made in the bed. That "old" one lasted only about 4 years. Normal wear and tear and it just couldn't hold up. So far the Purple mattress is great. I like sleeping on my side but with shoulder injuries in the past it made each night a toss and turn affair. Now with Purple I rarely have to switch sides due to shoulder pain. Even my wife loves it so far.
