I've been suffering from chronic back pain & muscle fatigue for almost a decade. Recently, the pain and fatigue have escalated to the point that I have been leaving work early on the days it becomes unbearable. My doctor has put me on a medication used to treat patients with Fibromyalgia, I've been going to a chiropractor, and have even started acupuncture - nothing seems to help. Out of desperation and willing to try anything at any expense to ease my chronic back pain, I purchased a first edition Purple mattress. I don't know anyone with a Purple mattress, so I watched dozens of youtube reviews to see how people felt about them. I couldn't find any negative reviews, so I took the leap of faith and made the purchase. I've had the Purple mattress for a few weeks now and I am LOVING it!! Probably the most comfortable one I have ever slept on! There is still a bit of fatigue in my back muscles, but I can actually make it through the day now without the sharp, shooting back pains! As the nights are going by and I am sleeping on the mattress more, there is a noticeable difference in the way I feel and function during the day. I could ramble on and on, but will cut short with a simple "Thank you." This mattress is actually changing my quality of life for the better and there just aren't enough "thanks" to give for that!

We needed a new mattress...something awful. My husband wasn't willing to fork over any $$ for it. I researched and reviewed the Purple for eight months. I went for it myself. When this thing showed up, my daughter and I did our part to get it on the bed. It was purely glorious!! The first week went by, and hubby says that it isn't the best thing we could have gotten, but definitely much better than what we had. Five months into it, my excitement is gone. Still better than what we had. But I am no longer resting as great as I was when if first arrived. I also feel like it is beginning to dip in the middle, which is strange since we are not even medium sized by any mean...and neither of us sleep in the middle. So... five months in, and past my 100 day trial... I regret holding off and getting the mattress that I really wanted. However, it def is much better than the 1950's base spring mattress that we had. :)

I can't remember ever leaving a review for anything. I'm pretty busy and with that I also don't sleep as much or as deeply (previously) as I should. On Purple, I sleep like a baby and so so deeply. I can sleep for 5 hours and feel like I slept for 8. With Purple pillows it feels like you're sleeping on a cloud. Love is Purple.

I was waking up to lower back pain each morning with my old mattress. Since sleeping on the Purple Bed my morning back pain is now gone. I am a side sleeper and I was worried from reading other reviews that the Purple Bed might be a little to firm. To my pleasant surprise, I have not had any issues with side sleeping on my Purple Bed.

After hearing about the Purple mattress, and debating on buying one or not for months, I finally decided to get one. You have 100 nights to sleep on it and decide if you like it or not, so why not give it a try. I'm surprised at how cool and comfortable the mattress really is. I went all out with the Purple lineup (pillows, sheets, mattress protector, frame) and everything combined just enhances the mattress. I sleep more soundly. I don't toss and turn as much. I can't even feel it when my wife gets in and out of bed. People have asked me how the bed feels, and the only way I can describe it as that it's a firm yet soft and supportive bed. I am very happy that I finally decided to go all in with Purple.

I received my purple in February and it's been two months. I used to suffer from soreness and numb limbs when waking up from sleeping terribly in my traditional inner spring mattress. I finally had enough of my mattress last Fall, but I was absolutely dreading dealing with sales tactics at a mattress and/or furniture store...on top feeling like a new mattress wasn't going to solve my poor sleep problems. Then one fateful day in January I was browsing my facebook feed and a friend of mine shared a post about a mattress called Purple. I watched the commercial and decided right then and there that this was my new mattress. And it's been a dream since! My body didn't even need an adjustment period. I have shared and shown the awesome commercial you guys made with half of my family and they did show interest so hopefully they will get to experience the joy of owning their own cloud to sleep on! :) I love you guys!!!!

Just kidding, I already have a great marriage! But the Purple bed sure has made it a lot of fun, *cough cough* no seriously, F.U.N. Okay for real; anticipating a night's sleep without pain, sheets that stretch and are very comfy, the glee of unpacking it all, a totally awesome platform that has TONS of storage space underneath it, and frankly, doesn't squeak each time I get out of bed. I'm eight months pregnant and I get up A LOT at night... A LOT. My sweet hubby no longer wakes-up or stirs every time I get up (you don't feel your sleeping partner tossing and turning (that would be me), that feature is so nice and a huge blessing.) We went with the Cali King and I sleep with a ridiculous amount of pillows - six feather pillows (I'd sleep with more if I could) - I wonder if I'm part bird because I have to build a nest each night to fall asleep.... Maybe counseling is necessary... Hummm, anyway.... Sleeping is my favorite past-time, always has been (no seriously, IT.IS.MY.FAVORITE.) and the Purple has only made it that much more enjoyable. Even though this-adorable-little-blood-sucking- parasite-in-my-belly-that-will-soon-be-a-perfect-bouncing-baby-boy has made sleep a little more challenging, I no longer have a sore hip or achy shoulders. I have been in love since the first night. My hubby has back issues and it has taken him a little longer to find relief from his back pain, but it is getting much better and he sleeps much sounder. (Again, he doesn't feel me getting up every hour.) We are very happy with our Purple purchase, we went with the Platform, Mattress, Sheets, and Mattress protector. As far as sleeping cool... I'm always hot so I was super excited about this feature. However, I'm not much cooler in a Purple (probably because I'm eight months prego, and we are using the mattress protector, and before marriage I slept with the window open and ceiling fan on high in the dead of winter). Hubby however, is very cool and needs an extra blanket. I did need to purchase an extra-long bed skirt, I went with 16 inches, it's one inch off the ground and that's the perfect length for the height of the platform. My little Jack Russel dog likes to hang out under the bed now, there's so much room! (I'm pretty sure the dog sleeps on the bed ALL.DAY.LONG while I'm at work. We should get a review from her!) My only complaint is that I wish the adjustable platform would have been available when we purchased a little over six weeks ago. We would have totally gone with that had we known.... My other whoa, my step-children like to hang out on it a little too much... sigh, it's the BEST! (No for real kids, go watch Studio C, it's my turn!) My next purchase from Purple will be a crib mattress It's not available yet, but I sure hope it comes around soon, (PLEASE PURPLE) little blood sucker will be joining the land of the living in just a few weeks and I want him (AND I) to sleep through the night and get the full benefits of the Purple products. I can tell it is a quality matress. I am 6'4 and 320lbs. The base model purple 2 is not for me. I have exchanged it for the hybrid plus 3. I haven't given up hope but the base model bottoms out. It has made my hips, shoulder and back ache. I got a cold and very much wanted to sleep but dreaded the idea of laying in bed. My wife and I purchased the spit king. We have had splits before but very much prefer a split top not a full split. With the way the bed is supported around the grid it doesnt allow much for rolling in either direction or cuddling.

I would say the entire experience was disappointing from end to end...from the product through customer service. We placed our order and after two weeks of radio silence, we finally called Purple. I asked for a return call and no one returned it. So I called again and the customer service rep said it had already shipped. We were supposed to have received a notification and did not. Hard to believe that it had actually shipped at that time because we still didn't receive the mattress for another two weeks. Once we got the mattress, we didn't find it comfortable at all. My husband is a side sleeper. He would sleep for about the first four hours and then wake up with the side of his body in pain, not able to fall back asleep. I sleep on my back and stomach, and I didn't think it was comfortable either. We stuck with it for 30 days hoping it would get better, but it never did. It's a really hard mattress. It seemed like our bodies didn't sink into it at all. Very uncomfortable. On the upside, the return process was pretty easy. They had a company come pick it up quickly and they refunded our money within 4 or 5 business days.

I wake up every morning as a new person. I used to have back problem but after using purple bed the back pain has gone. I would definitely recommend it to family and friends! It is one of my best investment I made. Your body heals while you sleep and with purple bed helps!
