We've had the mattress (King size) for a few months now. I was skeptical because I could not go to a store and lay on it first. It's a pretty big leap of faith in this day and age to lay out that kind of cash on something you've not seen or felt. The mattress is similar in comparison to memory foam mattress, but it is not the same. You don't get hot laying on the mattress. Although very comfortable, the next few days I woke up a little sore. I figured I was just adjusting to the new mattress. I absolutely love the mattress. I have adjusted and am not sore or hot. I'm very happy with this purchase and IF it ever wears out I plan on getting another. I'm glad I took the risk and bought it.

My husband and I are built very differently and we have been searching for the bed that both of us could be happy with and we finally found it. He was very nervous about buying without seeing it or trying it first but agreed because of the 100 day money back guarantee. From the first night we have been impressed! It was easy to set up and doesn't need to be turned like other mattresses. Hopefully it will bring us years of comfort.

What an amazing bed. I bet some of the negative reviews are because people didn't bother to get a good base and the nice stretchy sheets/mattress protector. I sleep better, I don't wake up stiff, and I had quite a lot of work done to my back (two 8 inch rods and a bunch of screws, and some other little thing to keep my vertebrae apart). I didn't even know I could wake up and feel like I did before my surgery. I used to have to stand in a hot shower for 10 minutes every morning to unstiffen. I got the pillow, sheets, base and protector, and have recommended it to every single person I talk to who ever mentions sleep. Invest in yourself, good sleep is so important, I had no idea what I was missing out on.

I took a chance buying a Purple based on word of mouth, and knew that if I did not like I would not bother sending it back. The gamble paid off; I have had no back or neck pain, and love the soft yet firm support the mattress provides. I am very please with the purchase, and have to admit that I do like the purple better than my sons Casper mattress, as it is cooler and provides more edge-of-bed support.

I know that it is far better than my Sleep Number bed. Having some issues with pressure points at the shoulders and hips primarily. I think the bed is going to be too firm for me in the long run. I still have time to make sure it's not just an adjustment period.

So my husband convinced me to try this mattress I was skeptical because we have spent alot of money on various mattresses thru the years pillow top, tempura pedic and etc. But we ordered and have had several weeks and my first impression was that it was not a bed I got into and said awe this feels heavenly! But felt a little firm but I must say I have slept like a baby and my husband's constant back aches are so much better! I think everyone should give it a try! Quite honestly my husband and I got the mattress because we researched how it was engineered and we thought it was so cool! However we were so surprised at how comfortable it is. You don't realize you've had terrible sleep until you've tried this mattress and actually have great sleep!! I recommend it to everyone I know and if you're reading this u recommend to you too!! I used to be a stomach sleeper and the mattress and pillow have turned me into a back sleeper. Ps. It is SUPER quiet :)

I was admittedly skeptical, but this mattress is exactly as advertised. Soft and supportive at the same time! I'm frequently finding myself in the same position when I wake up as how I feel asleep. I'll be encouraging anyone in the market for a mattress to give Purple a try.

Got a hybrid king size and within 1 month my wife and i are no longer having any back or neck pain like before. a few weeks into it we decided to get a twin size young adult mattress for my daughter who is also loving the addition to her remote classroom.

This may be a bit of a hefty post but hopefully it will help some of you out there as well as Purple in continuing to improve their products. First off I'm about 140 lbs, pretty thin; and I am pretty much exclusively a side sleeper. I prefer a softer bed, although I haven't really done any extensive studies of different bed firmness. I think due to my side sleeping I expected this bed to work really well for me because I imagined if I was sleeping on my arm that it would kind of dig into the Polymer while the rest of my weight was supported. So my arm wouldn't go numb, and at the same time due to it's design I wouldn't be super hot. I basically expected it to be a cloud of awesome. I purchased the new Purple 3 Mattress about a month ago. Initially I noticed it actually felt firmer than my old bed (my old bed was just average I would say, nothing too fancy) which kind of took me off guard. I was expecting it to be softer and really cradle me like I was sleeping in a cloud. I did notice the Hyper-Elastic Polymer when I was sitting on the bed or sitting up, but when my weight was distributed it just felt harder than my old bed. I didn't keep count of how many times my arm went numb, but I do feel it happened a bit more with this bed versus my old bed. If I was a bit heavier (perhaps 160-170lbs?) I think it would have really cradled me a lot better, but for me it felt like I was just sleeping on a flat board. In my personal opinion, I would be very interested if the Hyper-Elastic Polymer on the bed was just a bit more firm than the pillow is. Before the bed arrived I laid on the pillow and I thought, "If this is what it's like and it still keeps me cool it's going to be great." So maybe that's something they might look in to in the future. Like having different consistencies of polymer vs just 2, 3 or 4 inches of the same consistency. I would probably be willing to give it another chance if that was the case. As far as temperature goes I did feel that it slept a cooler because I was able to up my AC a bit and wake up really comfortable as far as temperature is concerned. I'm rating this three stars as it seemed like a pretty average bed to me. This doesn't take into account the price. For me it wasn't worth the price when my bed isn't super old, and I didn't really notice a difference. The rating also doesn't take into account their customer service because I wanted to make this just about the bed itself.
