I purchased the OG purple bed and I wish i would have purchased the 4". I do not think that the OG has enough support for my weight (275 LBS) to sleep on my side and I wake up with sore shoulders every morning. I am only about three weeks in...I may upgrade.

I love the way you guys have taken science (and my favorite color btw,) and made something so lovely. I sleep very comfortably on the purple despite the fact that I exceed the weight limit, lol. One concern I had was with the split king bed. We bought the power bases with two twin xl mattresses. Loved them except for the dreaded trench that runs between the two twins. The trench really sucks for those of us married folk who are, let's say, "amorous sleepers". Falling into that trench when certain things are happening is not the business. The mattresses also tend to drift apart during the night despite the brackets and their non slip bottoms. So, we gave the two mattresses to our daughters and ordered a solid single king mattress instead. Much better! Just have to use the two power bases in tandem now, but that hasn't been an issue yet thanks to the power base app. Another strange thing we noticed is that the new king mattress seems quite a bit firmer than the twins were. Again, the king is still super comfy so this is not really a problem, but I do like the softer twins a bit better. I think it probably has something to do with a larger continuous surface area and transfer of force through the purple's matrix, but I'll leave it up to the science guys at purple to explain that. Just one more critique and I'll be done. Please warn folks that the purple pillows are not good for pillow fighting. Unless you are fighting a bear. They are super comfortable but really heavy and I'm fairly certain that it's only a matter of time before someone suffers a purple pillow injury. Anyway, sorry for the long review. Summary: purple is awesome. Science says so. Just don't do the split king unless you don't really mind sleeping in different beds. And don't fight bears unless you have a purple pillow handy..

A friend of mine recommended the Purple mattress and I did extensive research before buying it. I'm a frugal person so making this kind of purchase was a big deal to me, even with a free trial. I bought the seat cushion first and it really helped so I decided to splurge on the bed. I have pretty moderate health issues including stenosis and several herniated discs in my neck and lumbar region. I have sciatica/SI joint issues and hip and knee pain. With my old mattress, I was waking up hunched over and really struggling to walk to the bathroom when I first woke up. Now I am pretty much standing straight in the morning. I have a mirror on my door and saw a noticeable change. Listen, I still I have back and hip issues but they have improved. After about 10 days I did have a slight regression in sleep quality but I stuck it out and my body adjusted as others had said in their reviews. I bought the Purple 2 because it was firmer than the 3 and I am happy with it. The money is worth my quality of life. I do wish the mattress was a little firmer but obviously there's some science to this. I am planning to buy the pillow next. Also, if you have back issues, I suggest delivery because the mattress is very heavy. Even rotating it is a 2 person job. One last thing, I am really particular about smell and some mattresses that are packaged have an industrial smell to them which drives me crazy and give me a headache. There was a slight smell at first but it dissipated in less than a week. Overall, I recommend this mattress if you are in pain.

I am in LOVE with my new purple mattress. I was skeptical at first but I am not kidding when i say it changed my life after one night of sleeping on it. I am usually a stomach sleeper but being currently 7 months pregnant I have to sleep on my side. I had been sleeping on a pretty cheap mattress throughout my pregnancy and had terrible pains in my body through out the day especially in my back. After one night of sleeping on the purple i noticed a big reduction in my pain and my sciatic nerve pain lessened. Ive been able to successfully sleep through the night on my side which has always been hard for me. I cant wait to feel what its like when i am no longer pregnant! Overall 10/10.

The bed overall really helped my back and shoulder problems. I enjoy the feel and the firmness of it. The only issue I have is the bottom left portion of the bed. It's as if someone left a bowling ball on the end of it so it kinda has a little sink hole. If you are laying on your back, your ankle rests in the divot.

I took a chance and I purchased everything all at once the mattress the mattress protector the sheets 2 pillows and the platform base and I have to say it's the best investment ever it's the most comfortable bed I ever slept on and the sheets are amazing. I highly recommend this company for its products. Thank you purple for the best mattress pillow and sheets.

For almost a decade, I've in a hospital bed. Recently, I bought a Craftmatic adjustable bed and one of their top of the mattress. You would think for almost $600 for twin that it would be a superb mattress. It was not. Most all my family had tried and then bought the Purple mattress. They raved how wonderful the Purple mattress is. So, I called Purple mattress just to double check that it would work with an adjustable bed. It did and ordered one. WOW! What an incredible mattress! The Purple mattress is the best mattress that I've ever owned!!

I've got an original purple mattress being inspired by bold and witty advertisement and good reviews. The delivery took approximately 10 days and I was sleeping on this fluffy and comfortable mattress ever since. I love it, my sleep quality improved and as a result I started loosing weight! I highly recommend this product.

Prior to buying your mattress I injured my back. The recover time for what should have been a speedy recovery was starting to concern me after three weeks. I knew something was wrong when I would opt to sleep on the couch rather then my own bed. I did my research and found you Purple. I ordered my bed and no lie, after the first night my back was 110 percent better. My back and I thank you Purple.

We upgraded from an older memory foam mattress. This is definitely better than that. But it's not the perfect mattress. We may try to do one of the upgraded Purple models. Maybe the .3. The mattress is a little smaller than advertised (height wise). And there's the feeling you have to get adjusted to when you first lay on it (the hyper elastic polymer grid). One good thing is there is not a lot of motion transfer, and that was impacting my wife and I a lot when someone rolls/turns over. Overall I would recommend it, but we are still not 100% satisfied yet.
