When I first got the Purple mattress and slept on it for a couple of nights, I was really trying to enjoy the mattress (Being this is the first time I actually bought a mattress which cost more than the last full size bed I bought with Frame) but it just seemed to sink down too much when I laid on it. It was very hard to turn or even roll over because I was sunk down so much into the mattress. When I went online and looked at reviews it said you can put the mattress on your old box spring and it would be fine, which I did. This was a big NO NO. When I see how the new bed frames are now being manufactured, I notice there is no need for a box spring any more. So I took out my box spring and bought a frame with a thick flat bottom and put the mattress on it. You would not believe the difference in firmness and support of the mattress when laid on a hard flat surface. Made a world of difference, and now I have to say, the purple mattress is a very awesome and comfortable mattress.

My husband and I purchased the Original Purple mattress November 2018. I have hip pressure point problems and am a side sleeper. My husband gets occasional back pain and sleeps in any position. Since we received our Purple Mattress neither one of us has had any pain sleeping. This is the most comfortable mattress we have ever slept on and we are in our 60's. I would highly recommend this mattress.

I needed a new bed, don't have the time to make the rounds to all the mattress stores and have zero interest in knowing what I like(firm/hard/sleep number), I needed good support, not complicated choices, REASONABLY PRICED and bring it to me.....this is what I got, have had it about a month now, really loved all of the process, it shipped early, was sort of fun to set up and it sleeps awesome...it is heavy yes, but so is any other over priced mattress, my girlfriend and I set it up with no issues.

My wife and I purchased our King size Purple mattress 10 months ago with the Purple base. We are young professionals in our 20s, with slim to average buiIt and bought the basic, original mattress. We highly regret the purchase; it seems as if the model relies largely on the brand name and marketing to distinguish itself. Both my wife and I had lower back pain when we started using Purple and our back pain has significantly worsened. I have a shoulder injury from before and the mattress is not comfortable for side sleepers either (too firm on the shoulder, my wife has complained as well). Both of us are now in physical therapy for our backs. We are trying to sell our Purple mattress after 10 months of use and would not recommend for either comfort or support.

I was really looking forward to the purple mattress because I had back pain. I got the purple pillows too. When it was finally delivered to me I was super excited to get a good nights rest. The first week I woke up with back pain and my neck was hurting. I thought maybe I just need to get used to the bed. A couple weeks went by and I decided to start using my other pillows and the neck pain went away. I still have back pain when I wake up and I sleep on my back so I don't think it's the way I'm sleeping. For the price I expected more. I think maybe the bed is too soft. Unfortunately my partner likes the bed so I'm in a bind. I'm not sure if I should return it.

The mattress is a bit more firm than I expected. For smaller, lighter people like myself, it does not do a good job at cradling pressure points. I am still in the 100 day trial period trying to get used to it, and decide whether I am going to return it. As for the Purple sheets, they are fantastic! Super stretchy, soft, and comfortable to sleep on. The fitted sheet actually stays on the mattress, versus other sheets which I would continuously have to adjust and stretch on the mattress.

I have chronic back pain and have tried a bunch of different mattresses from very firm to thick memory foam. None of them worked. But my Purple mattress (which I heard about from the Wine & Crime Podcast) is incredible. I no longer toss and turn at night. I've never slept better. Highly recommend!

Overall we sleep better and do like Purple. We have recommended it to a number of friends and family already. My only dislike is that it is a little firmer than what I would prefer. That being said. I do sleep cooler and my back has hurt way less and I toss n turn way less. Good product

I purchased my purple bed back in August. While I Love the mattress, Im sorry I got the full size! Its very small and short for a full size bed. But I definitely would buy a purple mattress again but a Queen would have suited me better! My daughter ordered it for me so I did not realize the 100 day warranty. The mattress is comfortable but I'm 5ft 5 and its not long enough! Their bed frames are excellent so easy to move my bed and clean under it, and Im 72 years old.

Love my new king sized purple mattress. Previous beds cannot compare to the comfort and support purple provides. It has really changed my perception on what mattresses should feel like. Probably the only downside is sleeping on other mattresses can't satisfy me ever again.
