It's honestly a really nice mattress. Super comfy. Perfect inbetween of firm and soft. BUT I wish they used a better shipping company that wasn't fedex because my mattress was on the truck for a week after the specified arrival date until I got it settled with fedex

My previous bed was a Tempur-pedic adjustable memory foam bed, but from the beginning, my wife and I both had problems sleeping on it. The adjustable base was great, but the mattress seemed to attract heat and we would both wake up in a swamp. My wife slept on her daughter's purple on a visit and fell in love with it. She insisted that it would be our next bed. I figured, what could I lose? More sleep? We decided that we would buy one when things weren't so tight financially. One night, I was "window shopping" on your website and discovered your financing option. I can't imagine being more happy with my new Purple than I am. We had a slight miscommunication with my order, I intended to order a Split King, but accidentally ordered a regular King. Your Customer Service people quickly changed the order and all without headaches. Thank you for creating such a great bed.

I bought this mattress for the same reasons most people did (funny commercials). Just kidding! I honestly thought that the bed technology would make my back pain better and provide a relaxing sleep experience. Unfortunately I am not very heavy, about 145lbs, so this bed didn't work out for me. I thought that it felt quite firm because I couldn't really sink into it, and when I woke up in the morning I had some pretty obvious back pain. That's not to say that this bed isn't great for other people...but for skinny/light people I'd caution you against it and point you towards memory foam. However my partner who is about 175lbs also complained that the mattress was too firm, so take that into account. We bought a Leesa mattress and we have been very happy with that purchase.

I bought this for my 7 year old daughter since I also have a Purple 4 Hybrid mattress and she wanted one that was like mine. I think the purple layer is a little slim for an adult but for someone thin or small it is great. Almost got the kids mattress but decided to just spend the extra to get one that she won't outgrow as easily. She loves it.

I am a licensed physical therapist and spend quite a large chunk of my practice educating my patients as to the need for quality rest at night. During my education, invariably, I mention alignment and use of what I call "props" for helping keep the spine aligned. I have used props for years now, and I can honestly say, that I tried the purple mattress without several props and have never looked back. While I would still recommend a body pillow between the legs to keep the pelvis properly positioned, the way the hips, head and shoulders sink into the purple mattress has been nothing short of phenomenal and my wife no longer has any back pain in the morning. It is definitely a costly investment, but when you consider that most people easily spend 1/3 of their lives in bed, it is a worthy one. Sleep better, people!

When I first unrolled my Purple Mattress and laid down on it, it seemed very firm (I weigh less than 120 lbs) & I wasn't sure I was going to like it. However, I slept the whole night thru and had the best sleep I've had in a while. I've had back & neck pain for several years now. With my previous mattress (which was new), I woke up in the morning hurting more than when I went to bed. I've had my Purple Mattress for a little over a month now. After adapting to the mattress, I've been sleeping much better and have less pain now than I've had in some time. I also don't wake up in the morning with pressure point soreness. So thus far, I'm very pleased with my Purple Mattress.

I slept on innerspring mattresses my entire life (even worked for a spring manufacturer for years), and was skeptical of foam mattresses. Purple converted me! The grid makes it feel like you're floating. I always had trouble falling asleep on my back; not anymore. No more uncomfortable hips and shoulders. It's supportive without feeling too firm. It's soft, but you don't sink into it. Quality of sleep has vastly improved for me and my sleeping partner.

My husband and I shopped around and tried another mattress before finally settling on Purple. It has just the right support for us as two side-sleepers. My husband injured his lower back last winter and has had trouble sleeping ever since. And he would always wake up hurting in the middle of the night. We have both slept soundly since getting purple and enjoy it very much. I haven't heard him say anything about his lower back ever since we started sleeping on our Purple matress.

Loved the bed right from the start, but after almost four years, it is changing shape even though I rotate it every three months. The side I sleep on doesn't have the bounce back to form it did at first and I am by now means obese. The other issue I have is that it feels smaller than all other queen mattresses I have ever had.

I bought this mattress because my husband complained of back pain due to arthritis and sleepless nights, he is 78 yrs old. Not once since the first night has he complained of either one. He sleeps like a baby and wakes with more energy than I. I only wish the Ca. King had been available then. When it comes time to replace my Queen you can be sure it will be a Purple. Thanks Purple, such a wonderful nights sleep without all the big expense.. Can't wait for the pillows.
