I was apprehensive about buying a mattress online. I grew up in the 70s and 80s. My family went to mattress stores and warehouses testing out beds. It was a long process. Buying a mattress online was a little too convenient. After thirty days of sleeping on the Purple I'm happy I took the chance. I'm in my 40s, I have some aches and pains in the mornings. This mattress really helps. It gives just enough and hugs just enough. I don't like really soft mattresses that don't allow free movement and memory foam feels too hot to me. I can turn over on this mattress without having that sinking feeling. The material they use compresses quite a bit without feeling too spongy and bounces right back when you get up. Air flow is great. Overall, a great mattress.

I decided to give the "home-bed-delivery-theme" a try. I started with a Casper. Their customer service was outstanding. I kept the ghost bed for ~90 days and figured it was just me getting used to it...but, the lower back pain and arms falling asleep was destroying me. Sent it back without a hitch. Next up was purple...well, winner winner chicken dinner. It sleeps GLORIOUS. No back pain from day one. Don't believe the "adjustment period" that the sleep experts say you need. I've slept in many terrible places and on top of many random objects in my short time on this ecliptic. If you sleep somewhere and wake up pain-free, take it as a sign that it works. Great job purple people eaters...you did amazing work. I will be purchasing four more of these things over the coming year for my entire house. Prost.

I'll admit I was worried I'd been a victim of a snappy ad campaign when the mattress arrived considering it was literally half the thickness of my previous bed. But after getting the egg test out of the way (we've all tried it) I laid down and was surprised at the response. It's like the purple layer doesn't want to collapse at first it fights to stay in its grid like shape. And this property seems to equate to it pushing up on your body in the places between your pressure points and that mean support. It does feel a little odd. Maybe not as "cozy" as a pillow top but I usually have toss and turn and have not slept 4hrs straight without waking and moving to alleviate back or shoulder pain in probably 2 years on my beautyrest and always woke with morning aches and pains walking downstairs slowly and having to move around for a bit till I felt normal. First night on purple I slept 9 hrs straight and my bladder was the only thing that woke me up. I had Zero pain and sleep straight through the night for the month I've owned my purple. The only negative thing is I used to like to come home from working nights and get in bed and fall asleep to watching something on my laptop. I have yet to watch more that 10 mins of something before passing out on my purple. Sometimes I do t even make it through the login process before I'm OUT. I can't believe I went through life getting such poor sleep before I found purple.

We have only had it a few weeks; however, we are happy woth the purchase. Having back problems, a comfortable mattress is essential. As long as it holds up as advertised, I would strongly recommend it. I have a friend that may be purchasing one as well.

I purchased a Purple for 2 reasons. 1, I needed a new bed. 2, I love technology. I think the bed is great and I know longer wake up with random pains. Unfortunately, my significant other has an issue with one of her knees and has been complaining about not being able to get sleep the first few nights. I'm not sure what was causing the pain but it does appear to be lessening as time goes by. It's been about 2-3 weeks since we received the Purple.

I've had chronic pain for over 25 years. I've tried different mattresses, pillows under my knees. All the tricks, all the pillows. After getting my purple mattress & pillow, I don't want to get out of bed because I love it so much. I don't toss and turn anymore. Thank you!

Another 5 star review for my second Purple mattress. I bought my first one last year (a queen) but recently moved into a bigger house. The queen went to the guest room so we could upgrade to a king! I can't say enough about these mattresses. I rant and rave to my friends about how great they are. The queen is just over a year old now and shows absolutely no signs of damage or deformation. I've never slept better than on a Purple mattress. Thanks, Purple!

I bought this mattress just before guests arrived in my house and 4 people got to try it before I did. They all raved about it and said it was the best sleep they ever had. Finally, when everyone left, I was able to try it. I agree with their assessment and believe it is a great mattress. I slept restful and longer than usual in the same position. When I awoke, my body did not protest with the typical aches and pains I had with a conventional mattress. Highly recommended!

We have been sleeping much better already! There are some reviews that say this is not for side sleepers, but we notice a big difference from our other mattress that was only 6 years old. My hips and legs don't hurt anymore after sleeping on the Purple mattress. And this mattress was a one third as much as our old mattress.

We just bought twin size mattresses for three of our kids, and they've been great. One daughter had gone through three other mattresses prior with complaints, but now loves her purple mattress. The other daughter is hemiplegic and has poor sensation and circulation on one side of her body, and the purple mattress has worked well for her too. (The third kid is too young to have an opinion). We also have a king size purple mattress for our bed. I will say that I was skeptical, but would now highly recommend purchasing the stretchy purple sheets. They really help you get the greatest benefit out of your mattress investment.
