I'm so happy with my Purple mattress! We've had it about 10 days now, and there is no more back pain upon waking up. I wish I had ordered one when I first heard about them, it would have saved me 6 months of restless sleep and pain. I can't recommend this mattress more!

I was honestly worried about ordering a bed from online without ever seeing it in person. I saw the adds and commercials, I saw the competitors videos, I watched you-tube reviews with an edge of skepticism. I was comforted with the 100 night guarantee so my husband and I decided to get it. When it showed up it was like dragging a dead heavy body from the front door to the bedroom. It's surprisingly heavy! I waited for my husband to get home from work so we could open it together. Opening it was fun , and it was upside down, so that was interesting figuring out how to flip it over. Wow was it amazingly soft yet I could not feel the platform of the bed below it. Also I loved that our movement did not effect the other each other. The first couple of nights took some getting used to it , I ended up with a crick in my neck but my hips and shoulders didn't hurt anymore. After a few months now I am pain free in my hips and shoulders and I I'm astonished how hard other beds are compared to the Purple bed. This bed has made a believer out of me! I rave about it to all of my family and friends.

I was really looking forward to this bed. I spent about a year researching this and other beds and choose this one because of very good marketing and advertising. The first few nights were great, my wife and I could tell that our backs no longer hurt. After a few more nights or hips and knees began to hurt. I actually had to put a pillow at the end of the bed for my feet to rest on. I attribute this to being a side sleeper. If people are back or stomach sleepers, this bed will probably be great. Also, since getting this bed my wife and I have not been able to sleep through the night.

Jury is still out. First few days we slept so well. Now that my body is more adjusted to this mattress it's not as good. I prefer a firm mattress, and this was firm at first. Now it sleeps more soft. My lower back hates that. Yes we have the strechey jersey sheets(any sheets would be strechey as this mattress is so short) yes we have it on properly slated base no more than 2" apart. I just can't say I'd recommend this bed yet, I hope it gets better. We paid alot and it's really heavy and I'm sure it would be a pain to get rid of it. I just wish it was more firm.

We had this mattress earlier in the year, and during the sleep trial, tried another online manufacturer's mattress, and ended up coming right back to purple. My only reason for not giving 5 stars, is I wish the top layers was a hair thicker, and could maybe provide a little more softness to it. That being said, We tried a nest Bedding hybrid, and I feel like it really affected my lower back. .Needless to say, we went back to the purple bed.

First and foremost, we LOVE our Purple mattress. It is everything we wanted, and more. I am overall very pleased with the product. Getting the product on the other hand was tough. The order took much longer to arrive then expected and I only found this out after contacting customer support. Once the mattress did arrive, the unboxing became the next challenge. The outside packaging of our mattress was damaged in shipping. Its possible that the cutter to remove the sleeve from the mattress had been lost. But all of the Purple videos showed it, so I was expecting it. Once I was able to get the mattress out and setup everything was good. And I am recommending Purple to anyone and everyone.

I like it, I feel I get into REM much faster. I have noticed my lower back does get a little stiff. My husband who has had 2 back surgery doesn't like it,it causes pain in his lower lumbar so we are going to buy a topper for his side to see if it helps.

I cried real Jesus tears the moment I layed down on this bed. It is like being cradled by a cloud. I have never slept better, and while I still prefer a pillow, it is NOT necessary. I need 20 of these beds. (Unfortunately I can only have one, but it will do for now)

The bed was delivered promptly and was exceptionally easy to open and unroll. Much easier with two people than just one. The bed feels comfortable enough to sleep on, but I haven't noticed any improvement in my sleep and, if anything, my back pain has increased slightly. Still enjoying the trial period and while I hope not to have to avail myself of the return, I'd imagine that process to be as painless as the rest of my interaction with the company.

The standard Purple mattress is a good fit, not perfect, but good. The quality of the items purchased were top of the line. My wife and I love the Harmony pillows. We both are side sleepers. My wife and I agreed the mattress doesn't classify itself as FIRM, SOFT or whatever. However, I found it to be almost perfect, but my wife found it to be uncomfortable. The Purple material in this mattress needs to be 3" or more. We had considered upgrading to the Hybrid 4 inch purple, but we decided not to. My wife found it too expensive to upgrade and find the same mattress firmness. We just got rid of a Sealy Black Hybrid to get a split king. The comfort levels are noticeable, but we enjoy the ability to adjust each side independent of the other. If you have a choice, buy the hybrid and down grade, instead of buying the standard and wanting the hybrid (to get the thicker Purple material). If I had to do it all over, I would have bought the 4" hybrid and see my wife's opinion would have been different (not the cost, she will never spend so much for a mattress). She would only be able to compare the comfort between the expensive Sealy and Purple's best, not Purple's mediocre mattress. My recommendation to Purple manufacturers is produce a standard mattress with a choice of Purple size (2 inch to 5 inch). The Purple material is awesome and is everything the commercial says it is. However, when combined with the other materials in the mattress, it lacks something... our guess was thickness compared to the other materials in the mattress. I wouldn't crush an egg on my mattress, the Purple material alone... maybe. I have very little regret in this investment.
