I bought this mattress for my daughter who has Ankylosing Spondylitis. Her back hurts all the time and sleeping was becoming very difficult. Sleep is vital for all of us, but for people with auto-ammune diseases it is crucial. She and her husband have been thrilled with the results. Thank you for this amazing mattress. I just had surgery to repair a fractured hip and I hadn't slept an entire night since the operation. Last night was my first night with my Purple mattress and also my first full night of sleep! Furthermore, traditional mattress (I'd tried several) all hurt my hip a lot; I could feel the springs pushing against it. The Purple mattress actually felt like it was lifting my help and helping it stay in the correct position.

I was skeptical about buying another mattress. We have spent a lot of money for them and have been very unhappy thru the years. I have to say that after one week of using the purple mattress, I have been sleeping all night! Definitely worth the investment.

If you don't find it comfortable upon first impressions, don't give up on it. It took me about two weeks before I got a good nights sleep on it. Now I get some of the best sleep I ever had. I don't know if this sounds weird or not but, I think it just takes time for the bed and the body to get acclimated with one another. Overall good bed. I wouldn't recommend if you don't like firm mattresses.

It took a solid five days sleeping on this bed before I got a good nights sleep, but since then I have slept longer, more soundly, and with drastically less tossing and turning then our previous foam mattress. Also, this mattress sleeps so much cooler than any other mattress I have ever slept on.

We upgraded from a Select Comfort mattress, which was no longer helping my wife's back and hip pressure issues. The Purple seems to cradle her problem areas much, much better; she saw big improvements immediately. We bought a second one about a two months later, so now we have one in the master bedroom, and one in the guest room. They're great, especially combined with the Reverie adjustable foundations.

I got the pillow recently because I have a stiff neck in the morning. I was hoping for a miracle cure, but I didn't find one. I think part of my problem is that I sleep with my hand under my pillow and that elevates it too much, but I can't really tell what's going on.

It started in the autumn of 2016, when I realized my ever loyal pillowtop mattress had at last succomed to sag. Sigh After of hours, then days of research...seeking out non-profit review sites, you tube videos and reading/watching until my eyes crossed. I took the plunge and order both a queen size Purple Matress and the No Squeek metal frame. The mattress arrived first. As warned, it was indeed a heavy bundle. However, once unboxed , my 25 year old son easily ran it up our stairs using the straps on its amazing packaging*. Once upstairs, using the included "freedom device" I was able to open it up and get it situated all by myself. My husband, miniature poodle and I joyfully collapsed on it that night and became loyal spokespersons within days. All three of us fall asleep and stay sleep as we never have before. Best of all we have no aches and pains of any kind. Bliss! A few days later, the frame arrived. I easily got it up the stairs and put together before anyone got home. And they're right, there's no squeaks or wiggles at all. It feels incredibly solid and it's about as high off the ground as the top of my old mattress was with a box spring underneath, so there's plenty of storage room underneath. And I mean real storage boxes, not those silly 4" inch high under bed boxes I use to have. After a couple weeks of singing it's phrases and having every visitor "lay down on it for just a couple minutes", a half dozen friends and family placed their orders as well! Soon we ordered the sheets and pre-ordered the pillows as well. The sheets are delightful, so soft and very stretchy. Yet, somehow they dont feel overwarm as you might expect, nor are they cold. Truly magical. Our pillows arrived yesterday. Suffering from acid reflux as well as neck and back issues, I think we've tried ever pillow out there. None have totally fit the bill...until now. The inflatable bladder makes my pillow just the right height to avoid reflux and sans bladder is perfect for my hubbies aches and pains. Another superior product. So happy are we, that were now getting the cushion so that my hubbies bony chimney will sit comfortably at last. At friends requests, I've been giving bi-weekeekly up dates regarding our comfort and satisfaction, so I imagine we've helped sell another have dozen in 2017. Have no hesitation. The Purple products and company are top notch. You can't possibly do better. *No one speaks of product packaging, but I feel I must in this case. Both the mattress and the pillows come in super thick clear plastic bags with sturdy zippers and superstrong purple webbing carry straps. The mattress is followed up like a sleeping bag. The product is easily removed and these bags are and will be in use for a long time. I am not exaggerating when I say that I would happily purchase additional ones for travel and storage. Even the sheets come in a super thick, magnetically sealed carton, that I'm already using to store dog toys and leashes. There is little to no waste with this company.

If you're thinking about getting a Purple, do it. You will not regret it. The best mattress my husband and I have ever slept on. It's super comfortable, the sheets are soft as a baby's butt and the platform base doesn't squeak at all! So stop hesitating and just BUY IT! And when you get it delivered, make sure you try the raw egg test! Seriously though, Purple, you rock!

This mattress is one of the best things that could have ever happened to me or my husband. The BEST thing about this mattress is that it does not transfer enough motion for me to register while asleep . My husband moves (used to move?) around A LOT at night. It would always wake me up, which resulted in frustrated remarks during the night and sleep deprivation during the day. I don't know if he still rolls around in his sleep - the mattress doesn't transfer motion (and he is a bigger/taller guy) - but I suspect he doesn't as much as he used to (which means he is getting a better night's sleep). As a bonus, it really is temperature neutral. Our other non-motion-transferring option was memory foam, but memory foam gets hot and good memory foam mattresses are really expensive. This mattress is affordable and comfortable temperature-wise. This mattress is also the dream combination of being both soft and firm. It is hard to explain how it feels, but it is like the commercials say (sinks where you put pressure and doesn't where you don't). It is not soft like a pillow-top - it's soft in a supportive way. My husband is picky about mattress firmness and generally he gravitates towards more firm mattresses. He has loved this from day one. ALSO, I almost forgot to write that his back used to hurt him a lot more (he's only 30 years old) and now I rarely hear him complain about his back. We both believe that Purple is to thank for this. Although I am joking that it "saved my marriage," I have no doubt that we argue a lot less and are happier people than we would have been otherwise if we didn't get this mattress. Do yourself a favor and get this mattress. With their free trial, you really have nothing to lose. I took a chance and it was one of the best purchases I have ever made!
