Guys.... if you have thought about it.... DO IT! My husband had Lymes he has chronic pain, so sleeping has ALWAYS been a challenge and unfortunately when he doesn't sleep well he has flare ups which can stop him from working.... I compared mattress after mattress to Purple.... purple always came out on top and the representatives were always helpful when I needed to ask a question. They said since we sleep on our back and sides to go with the "regular" purple (as I was looking into the hybrid as well). My husband LITERALLY slept all night long and did not move once. He even decided the next night he didn't need a pillow between his legs. He even said he was "actually looking forward to going to bed" and when he feels pressure in his joints do to Lymes he will go upstairs and relax on the bed, and he feels better! I am amazed! This has been a blessing. A king size would of been the only thing I would have changed but we got what we could get and I'm sure glad we did.

I like being able to sink into a mattress a little, and I can sink into the purple mattress without being suffocated or hot. It also provides enough support. It's been the perfect balance of soft and supportive for me, and I got a good deal when I bought it. Definitely recommend it if you're interested in a unique mattress.

I will never buy another type of bed if it's not Purple. I can honestly say it is the best bed I have ever laid on and have support where I need it and not just sink in. I really thought it was advertised as better than it would be but like alot of stuff out there but this bed is amazing I really love this bed. Thanks

I'll start with the cons about the bed: it took a while to get to me. I also ordered it at the beginning of the Pandemic, so I can't be too mad at that during unprecedented times. That's it for the cons. This bed is INCREDIBLE. It's a strange feeling, almost as if I was floating atop the bed rather than sinking in, but the moment I focus on my breathing, I can feel that all of my prominent parts are being supported. I haven't looked forward to laying down for sleep in a few years, my bed was not conducive to rest. I was shocked to wake up without back pain, or sounding like crispy rice cereal. The bed and the pillow together, sleep is my friend again.

I have bone cancer and this mattress has made my sleeping wonderful. I am both a back and side sleeper and of course, I sleep on my right side and that is the side that I have bone cancer in my hip; I can now sleep comfortably on the side, what a blessing. I am not wild about the massage feature but I will use it on my legs at times, it distracts from any pain I have there.

My boyfriend and I moved in together and were struggling to share his queen sized pillow top mattress. The motion transfer was ridiculous. We did lots of mattress research and landed on the Purple. We have loved it from day 1. Hardly any motion transfer and it's super comfy. My bf sleeps hot and hasn't had any problems with being warmer than usual.

Ironically, I was familiar with the FLOAM technology from many years ago and was impressed with it for my patients. So when I saw the technology had advanced to the current state of the Purple Mattress I was sold. I've had mechanical back pain for several years and had been sleeping on a tempur- pedic surface for several years with increased back and neck pain. I was given a purple pillow to try from a friend and the first night I noticed a decrease in neck stiffness and pain. So I went ahead and ordered the sleep system. I woke up with virtually no pain in my low back. I rested well and felt much better than I had in a couple years. I would recommend this sleep system to anyone that needs a new surface. I'm 6'2", 240! If it can support my weight and decrease the interface pressure on my frame, it will help most people. I love my new mattress!

Obviously everyone will have a different opinion on this. For me as a side sleeper who weighs 200 lbs, I find this bed to be very comfortable, sleeps cool, and I like the little bit of bounce you get compared to JUST memory foam/tempur-pedic. My wife, an 110 lb stomach sleeper finds it a little bit too soft for her liking.

My wife and I purchased our Purple Hybrid Premier 3" mattress in December 2019. To be honest during our 100 day free trial we were traveling so much we never really got to settle in and test the mattress on a long-term basis. As I write this review in June we are totally disappointed with the claims that this mattress is supposed to do for us. I am a heavy size sleeper and this mattress does not fit the bill. I wake up every morning with lower back pain and I'm tossing and turning through the night. My wife on the other hand has had better luck with the mattress, but still has occasional hip issues when she wakes up. Today we are investigating new mattresses and leaning towards the sleep number mattress. Good luck!

Being a stomach/side sleeper who prefers a firmer mattress this mattress is very squishy. I bought it due to back/hip pain. It does 'adjust' and is comfortable during the night. Have not had pain in the morning since changing. I'm still trying to get use to the softness of the memory foam. Still in my trial period, hoping I don't have to switch back to traditional mattress and keep purple!
