My last mattress was a pillow top Simmons Beautyrest. It felt fantastic from the first night, but I was annoyed at how my bodyweight (235lbs) has already made a valley after 5 years. I got a purple mattress, and regret it, I should have just bought another Simmons. The purple mattress is very well made, but I wish the flexible layer was another inch deeper, it's just too firm to be comfortable for sleeping on your side.

This mattress is fantastic! I'm a side sleeper normally but I have found that I'm comfortable on my back as well. I used to sell a competitor's memory foam mattress which was when I learned about the neutral posture position best achieved by side sleeping if you're on a "typical" spring mattress. My Purple mattress let's me achieve the same posture on my back. Get a pillow to go along with the bed for proper neck support.

I was really interested in the Purple bed so I purchased it considering I had my past bed for too many years past its "expiration" date and it had been really hurting my shoulders because I'm a side sleeper. I've had the Purple bed for about a month now and I've been sleeping great and I love that I can't feel when anyone gets on/off the bed too. I'm a light sleeper and now I don't even wake up. I'm loving my bed so far!

I'm a male of average/light weight and height, likes to move around in my sleep, and likes to sleep "on" the mattress rather than "in" the mattress. I used to occasionally get lower back and neck pains after sleeping wrong but since getting the mattress from Purple 1 month ago, I've yet to get them. The mattress (and the free pillow that came with my order) had a "factory/fresh rubber" sort of smell at first and that may have contributed to the shallow first night sleep but by the next day, the smell was gone and sleep was easy. I really like this bed. Also, their bed frame is collapsible and lightweight so it's convenient for people who moves housing often (like me).

It's taken some getting used to! We love the bed, but since it's a queen size power base, and my husband and I sleep in different positions, it's hard to find a happy medium sometimes that's comfortable for both of us. I also still feel my shoulders still scrunching in when I lay on my side causing some upper back and neck soreness the next morning.

I have a friend that swears by the purple but it definitely didn't work for my husband and I. The gel top squishes in when you lay on it but my arm would only push in on the shoulder leaving the rest of the arm lying on top. This would cause arms to fall asleep. It was also just not soft enough for my liking. The return process was efficient and quick though. That was nice .

It's sucks because you don't want to get out of it. Makes getting up hard. Best sleep I've got in years. No hot spots, you don't sink into it. It feels a lot like a regular mattress but floating. Would buy for the spare bedrooms if I could afford to so the guest could enjoy them too.

I just want to start off by saying that I personally loved the purple mattress. My wife however did not agree with me. We returned the mattress within three weeks of use. Purple's customer support team was very professional and did everything possible to help us return our mattress. My wife personally did not like the mattress, but we both agree that anyone who is interested in he purple mattress should give it a try because this company is very reliable with the product and customer support.

I was hesitant at first to purchase a mattress in this fashion until I came to grips with the fact that many of my purchases are made "product unseen" and online these days. Plus, it is truly risk free. Once I pulled the trigger, I can honestly say we are thrilled with this mattress. Soft and supportive in all the right places, high quality, "cool" to sleep on versus other foam options which seem rather hot, and the service was fantastic. I regularly encourage our friends to lay on our bed and try and it out and everyone's first reaction is just a huge sigh of comfort.

I bought this cushion so I could sit higher in the car. I can now sit at least an inch higher using this cushion. I have thought about searching for a sticky layer that will hold the cushion in place on the seat when i am getting into and out of the car. Nice product.
