We bought this mattress after watching the hilarious commercials on YouTube (and diligently reading reviews). The mattress is very comfortable- my back and shoulders have been hurting much less. The firmness took a few nights to get used to it after that I pretty much fall asleep instantly and stay asleep. Highly recommend.

I bought the queen sized purple mattress, bed frame, super-stretch sheets, and hybrid pillow. I have been sleeping on this setup for a solid two weeks, and I've already started to notice I'm sleeping better. My sleep is a lot deeper, and I wake up feeling more refreshed then ever. My only complaint is when I received my frame, it was bent on one side and one of the welds was too big so one of the reinforcement plastic pieces wouldn't fit. Once I had the bed all together and laid on it, it didn't even matter. 5 stars!

I previously had a well-known brand memory foam mattress. It was only about five years old, but it had to have been worn out. I was waking up most mornings with terrible back pain. For the longest time, I assumed it was just due to my bad back or the previous day's activities. However, when I read that most people's mattresses are actually worn out, I decided to buy a new mattress and see if it would help. My chiropractor recommended a Purple mattress. For the first two nights, when I first lay down on the Purple mattress, it felt a little different against my hip than my previous mattress. This was probably just the result of having a mattress with better support than my last one. From the first morning, and every morning since, I have woken up with no back pain. I purchased the base model mattress. The mattress was very well-packaged.

My husband and I tried Purple first. After 10 years of sleeping on a "popular memory-foam mattress" that was sagging because we were given the wrong base (didn't know it at the time!), we were finally tired of being tired and sore. I was on prescription meds just trying to sleep, and often it didn't even work! We researched and went with Purple! Now I get DRUG FREE, deep sleep and we rarely have the pain problems we had before. We loved ours so much, when it came time to get my daughter a new bed, we bought her a Purple, too! She loves it! She is a busy student that loses a lot of sleep, but lately she seems to be more inclined to get to bed early when she has the chance! We love Purple and will definitely look to purchase again when the need arises!

This mattress is awesome! Don't skimp; get the king. It's worth it. You literally have nothing to lose trying this mattress out. If you don't love it after 100 days get in touch with Purple and they'll take care of you. So stop reading reviews and try one out already! We've enjoyed quality sleep since purchasing the Purple. Both my husband and myself have sleep problems that have all but stopped since using the Purple. I no longer wake up with my hips clicking and taking all day for my back to "unthaw" from a terrible night's sleep on our old mattress. I'm able to sit up out of bed in the mornings instead of having my husband help roll me off. When you sleep better, you live better. Invest in a good night's sleep by investing in Purple.

We've had our Purple 1 (the original) for about a month. Good: Very comfortable. Just the right amount of support. The polymer eggcrate grid feels weird at first, but it's pleasant and COOL to lie on - nothing like memory foam. We also have the mattress protector, which is rather expensive but I think worth it; it breathes well and isn't heavy so it stays cool as well. I can sleep equally well on my side, face up, or face down, which was definitely not the case with our old innerspring. My lower back also definitely likes this mattress better. Bad: ...I haven't found a significant downside so far. I'm wondering about the possibility of mildew developing on that non-porous eggcrate eventually, but as I noted above the mattress shell and protector breathe well, and we pull the bedding off it for a few hours every week, so I'm not really worried about it. Bottom line: We're both impressed with this mattress. It's comfortable, easy to take care of, and reasonably priced by modern mattress standards. We'll probably buy another for the guest room at some point.

We bought our purple mattress when moving and unable to take our expensive tempurpedic. I was expecting that it would be noticeably less comfortable than the tempurpedic. I was wrong. I love this mattress. It is incredibly comfortable. From the first night I have been sleeping better than ever. This mattress is amazing. I thought we might sacrifice comfort for the convenience of having it delivered right to our door but we didn't sacrifice anything. Win-win! Convenient and comfortable. I would recommend purple to everyone.

I bought this mattress after owning a memory foam. I found the purple mattress to be much more comfortable. I feel as if I can move easier because I'm not being "hugged." The support of the Purple mattress is perfect without creating pressure points. I don't like sleeping on other mattresses now.

When I first got the bed I was super excited as I had done a ton of research about the purple mattress prior to buying. I suffer from severe back pain and most nights I'm struggling to find a comfortable position on conventional mattresses. So when I purchased purple I thought my days of back pain would be behind me or at the very least diminished to a dull pain. My mattress arrived, and I slept on it for the first night. It took me hours to get to sleep and I woke up incredibly stuff and in severe pain. Now from my research I knew theres an adjustment period so I chalked it up to that and gave it more time. Now, a month later I'm pretty sure the adjustment period is over and my experience has been this: I have not slept all night on the purple mattress. I have more pain now than I did before. Instead of my lower back hurting as usual, now my neck and shoulders hurt as well as my hips. I bought the original mattress because I figured it would give me everything I needed in a bed and assumed it would be a little softer than it actually is but it's super firm. I wish that I would have known how the mattress would have felt to lay on prior to buying it as I would have chosen a softer option. What makes it worse is that I reached out to purple with my issues asking for help and have not received a single response so that just makes the whole experience for me extraordinarily dissatisfying. I cant send the thing back as my husband loves it and has injuries from his tour in Iraq and it helps ease his pain so I will end this review by saying that I'm utterly disappointed and disheartened by my experience and I hope no one else gets stuck in the position I'm in now.

The first few nights were good. After that it got worse every night. Both of us waking up several times a night, both of our backs hurting in the morning. We have had to resort to sleeping on our guest bed until we get a new mattress and the purple returned. I'm sure it works great for some people, it's just not for us. Lots of cool marketing and hyper-elastic polymer sure sounds cool. I just need a good night's sleep. We spent a chunk of change on the stretchy sheets and the protector which are NOT returnable, so those will be donated somewhere I guess. Expensive lesson.
