After my back fashion surgery my medical team suggested I buy a new mattress. After doing some research and with the recommendation from my medical team I purchased the Purple mattress. I have slept so good each night. I do not wake up in the middle of the night anymore. It is an amazing mattress. I highly recommend it.

I've had my Original Purple Mattress for a little over a month now. I had done plenty of research, looked at countless reviews, purchased other mattresses that didn't work out, and ultimately decided Purple was the way I needed to go. Now, I know that there are the newer versions with the different comfort levels, but I decided with all the positive reviews for the Original and people saying how wonderful and life changing that one was, what was the need to go with the upgraded models? I also decided to purchase the Platform Base to replace my old box spring and the mattress protector to protect my investment. I have to say, the Platform base is fantastic. It really does support the mattress all the way around, so no matter where you are on the mattress it all feels the same... no more sinking in the middle from sitting or laying down (I'm 200+ pounds and slightly bottom heavy - I have quite a bit of legs, butt, and thighs to support). The mattress protector was a little different than what I was expecting. This one has a little more of a plastic/liner feel, but you adjust to it pretty quickly, so no big deal. It doesn't make you slide around or anything. Now to the mattress - here's where I have not been the happiest. The first couple of nights were brutal and I thought I had made a huge mistake at that point, but I kept hoping and being positive and knew that there would be an adjustment period for my body. Fast forward a month and I can't say that I am entirely happy with my mattress, even now with the adjustment period I've given it. I spend a lot of time in bed (I love my sleep and I work from home quite a bit, so quite often work gets done while sitting in bed) and to be honest I'm just very disappointed in the mattress overall. I still toss and turn quite a bit throughout the night, so I'm not getting the best of sleep. The mattress is not very thick, so with the combination of being on the Platform Base and being a chunky girl - I feel sometimes like I'm sleeping on the floor because I can feel the Base through the bed. The only positive so far is that I'm not sleeping as hot as I was before. The combination of having the Base with the mattress allows for quite a bit of air circulation, which is awesome. I don't know if I just had too high of expectations or what, but at this point, I'm still trying to decide if I want to return the mattress or just deal with it. It's quite a bit of money put out for something I'm not entirely happy with. I was so looking forward to experiencing that melt into your mattress, sleeping on a cloud feeling because it's just so darn comfortable, and instead I just keep getting more and more disappointed each day.

We also got an adjustable and being a side sleeper realized I can't sleep at zero g without pain. Leaving the bed flat I can side sleep or on stomach, I haven't been able to sleep on my stomach in awhile. I really enjoy the sleep I am getting and seems to alleviate pain I have in my neck and arm from outstanding issues I have. Now to learn to sleep on my back.

My husband had wanted to invest in this mattress for some time, and we just bought a new home, so we did it! Thankfully, I am someone who does not have trouble adjusting, but this has been a great investment. It has not been 21 days for us to get the FULL benefit and we have not slept on another mattress in the last 2 weeks, but we feel very rested. It is easy to fall asleep and then wake up! If you have the finances and are someone who needs a good change, do it! We got the King Purple Mattress, and I think I like it much better than the higher end ones.

this is a great mattress. it really dose blend soft and firm in a wonderful way. My wife and I have been sleeping like rocks since we purchased it. It really dose shine when it comes to comfort. Its only negatives are very minor. its edge support is very weak and ive found due to the way this mattress sleeps, pillows tend to prop your head up too much and can cause some neck discomfort in the morning. I recommend thinner pillows. overall its a great purchase and I , having frequent back pain, have not had any since sleeping on this mattress

I ordered a Purple mattress in May 2021, received it in June, and was able to open it mid-July to finally use. I wish I had moved faster with opening and using the mattress, because I have not been happy with it and missed the window to return. I find that it offers very little support and more pressure to my hips. If I lay on my side the wrong way, there is a lot of pressure on my shoulder as well. I have more back and hip pain than before having this mattress. I thought I had done all the correct research to find the best mattress for me, but this was not it. Now stuck with an expensive mattress and searching for a topper to make it bearable. Very disappointing.

I got this mattress when the original was the only option. I thought after a few months it would break in how I needed it. Nope. Why didn't I return it? My husband loves it. It's been over a year and I still wake up sore each morning, and now there is a bump in the middle of the mattress between where we each lay. I would give the mattress 2 stars because it does cool very well but I gave it 3 because my husband says he sleeps good.

I received this mattress in hope I will not have back pains anymore, but it didnt help at all and I thought it will take a little while before my back adjusts to it but now it has been two months and still the same. I even got the pillow with it and the pillow was very low it hurt my neck.

This Mattress was purchased to replace a 10+ year old inner spring which had started to leave my husband and I both tossing and turning all night and then waking up with aches and pains. I did a lot of research on the variety of different options available and decided to give Purple a shot despite how non-traditional it felt to order a mattress online, site unseen! I have really only ever had Inner-springs, my husband has slept on traditional memory foam before but hated it because it sleeps too hot and it sinks you into is so deeply that moving and getting out can be challenging. Delivery was prompt and painless. We got it set up and slept on it for a month before deciding that ultimately it was not a fit for us. Surprisingly we found that a 5-6 hour sleep duration was the limit before the pains were noticeable.(who only wants 5 ours of sleep a night!?) A full 8 hours meant waking up with terrible low back pain that no amount of stretching and walking-it-off seemed to remedy. My husband is a flat sleeper(belly and back) and I am a side-sleeper- and while we did find that this mattress fixed the neck/shoulder pains we had in our old mattress, the constant back pain was really intolerable. My husband and I both prefer a firm mattress and neither of us felt that this provided enough support for our large frames. One of the main selling points of the purchase for us was the refund policy(nothing to lose!)- in the end, while we are disappointed that the mattress did not work for us, we have only good things to say about the refund process. The refund department was quick to respond to my request and of the options they gave us we decided to donate the mattress locally to a women's organization. I had confirmation of my donation and refund within 24 hours of sending in the donation info(they verify it with the receiving party) and our full refund was processed by the bank within a few days. It was quite painless to take the appropriate steps to get our refund, and it felt good to donate it to a local charity who can make far better use of it than we could.

I've had joint problems since early high school that have been getting steadily worse. I've woken up on pain for so long, I forgot what it was like not to. Then I got the people bed, this thing is incredible. I wake up and I'm not in pain, I feel more rested and generally more optimistic.
