I grew up sleeping on my stomach and could never sleep on my back. I thought it was never possible. Fast forward 26 years and behold, I can now sleep on my back comfortably. I love my product and recommend it to all my friends. My wife basically calls me a walking advertisement for Purple, now I want to share my short story with you all. It is a great investment.

We absolutely adore our purple mattress, best sleep we've had for YEARS. Hi...I bought the purple 2,sheets and blanket. I also ordered the adjustable bed but had to cancel because they were a month out. I have back, neck and arthritis issues and a 270 sized person. The Purple ended up killing my lower back. I bought an adjustable frame from a local store. I would adjust the bed several times throughout the night due to pain waking me up. I dreaded going to bed every night but made myself give it a month break in. Im usually a back sleeper but I tried everything. I think it was just to soft for me. I really wanted this to work! I love things that are different....The return process was very simple and speedy enough. Purples customer service was probably the BEST Ive ever had to deal with from start to finish. I had an order issue but it was taken care of very efficiently and professionally. I was so happy with all interaction. The sheets are crazy awesome and the throw blanket was better than that. You will prolly never use another throw blanket if you like the super soft type. .....Bottom line is, Purple is for sure WORTH A TRY!....If in fact the bed works for your body, it will prolly be the best you will ever purchase....Good luck and I hope this helps. I have lower back issues and have been sleeping on a very soft and worn-out mattress for years, which seems to be making my back much worse in the last few months. I read that the purple mattress was good for alignment stuff, and I ordered the original purple - hoping it wouldn't be way too firm - since there no way I'm paying more than $1k more for a newer softer one. The mattress is firm. Definitely firm. I don't love laying down on it trying to go to sleep (I'm a side sleeper and it weirdly feels like I'm levitating on top of the bed rather than sinking into it, and it kind of hurts my shoulder), but I wake up with zero back pain. It really is great for backs. I will deal with a lack of comfiness at night to wake up comfy.

The bed is firmer feeling which I prefer and does good for my back. It's a little firm for my wife's liking. I like it for back sleeping. For side sleeping it's ok, but the arm we are sleeping on does "fall asleep" I believe due to the firmness. I like the bed, and my wife thinks it's ok. We have decided to keep it and overall, I would buy it again.

We bought this mattress after I had broken my femur and had to have a long rod placed in my bone. Sleeping was a nightmare! After receiving the mattress and putting it on the platform, sleeping was again restful. Thank you for all of the research and engineering, it is a life/sleep saver!

I absolutely love my purple! Even being 8 months pregnant I'd sleep all night and wake up without any back pain! Unfortunately due to my husbands previous back injury, he couldn't get quite comfortable so we decided to send it back :( I would still highly recommend the purple!
