I was very pleased with my Purple Mattress for the first few nights but within 2-1/2 weeks the mattress was already sagging on my partners side. I have had neck and shoulder pain since the first couple of weeks. This just wasn't the right product for us. I made contact to start the return/refund process and I was impressed to find out Purple was going to donate my mattress to a local charity of my choice and once I had a receipt then Purple would refund me. I live in a rural area and discovered it difficult to find someone to take it. When I completed the form required for return I then picked to have Purple take care of finding a place to donate. I had not received a response from Purple and sent an email asking for an update and I've still heard nothing back. I'm bummed this mattress didn't work out for us and am very disappointed in this return/refund process.

My husband did extensive research when we decided to get a new mattress, and after hours of reading and watching YouTube videos, we settled on Purple. The ordering and shipping process was incredibly easy. I loved the mattress right away. It took him a little longer to get used to it because our old mattress was a little more firm, but he's very happy now. I would recommend a Purple to anyone. My only complaint is actually about the sheets however. We received a set as a Christmas gift (we actually just got them last week because they were on back order, which was fine) and the white sheets have a very obvious pink hue to them. The look white in the box but as soon as I put them on the bed, especially next to our ivory-ish duvet, they are very obviously tinted pink. I don't know if we got a bad set or if this was intentional.

Long story short, i hope.. the mattress was great for my husband (6'2" 220lbs) who is a side sleeper who sleeps very hot & had back pain. He slept a lot cooler & more soundly throughout the night & this mattress relieved his back pain completley. I (5'6" 125lbs) am a side sleeper & was suffering with hip & shoulder pain. The bed did relieve those pains, however, i feel i was too light to get the full effect of the mattress & this also made it too firm. I was sleeping as soundly even after having my husband break my side in. My fitbit also proved that i wasn't getting great sleep. I did end up returning the mattress & buying a Layla, which i so far love. However, i have to commend Purple for making the return so easy & hassle free, their great customer service, & the fact they donate all returned mattresses to non-profits. They are a wonderful company that i would still reccomend to anyone heavy enough. In fact, my 85yr old grandfather still is enjoying his Purple mattress that i talked him into getting.

I was admittedly skeptical, but this mattress is exactly as advertised. Soft and supportive at the same time! I'm frequently finding myself in the same position when I wake up as how I feel asleep. I'll be encouraging anyone in the market for a mattress to give Purple a try.

I love it! The first couple nights were an adjustment. But they inform you to take a month to let your body adjust to sleeping the correct way. After a couple weeks I have amazing sleep at night and am not tired when my alarm goes off. A lot of the time, I wake up before my alarm! I would definitely purchase another Purple mattress !

I have had the mattress for about a month now really thinking on returning it but bought all the accessories with it as well . I Wake up in the morning with severe back pain and hip pain . Never had issues with that before . Went with the original purple mattress I think that this one is just way too thin and does not provide the comfort that it needs. Maybe going with a three or four or you might get a comfortable bed but those are just extremely too expensive! Just had high hopes on this mattress and is extremely disappointed.

I do really enjoy the mattress. I've slept on it for a couple of days now. The only thing I don't like is that once sheets are out on it, it looses its shape forming properties and becomes stiff. Overall it's best for back sleepers, not side sleepers. It didn't allow my body to sink enough to be supported properly, but it was still significantly more comfortable than my old mattress so that part is a minor complaint. The pillow I didn't like at all. It actually made my neck hurt even more.

I have suffered from chronic back pain for many years. In addition to every possible medical and alternative therapies, I have tried new high end conventional mattress with various toppers (some helped a tiny bit) the Sleep Number Bed, a foam Mattress, and continually sleep with a fat pillow between my knees, and finally I tried the Purple Mattress. I AM IN HEAVEN. Every night that I sleep on it my back seems to heal and improve a little more. No longer do I wake up unable to move until I do the physical therapy exercises and walk with pain for hours upon rising. Purple has improved both my sleep and my wakefulness- my pain has decreased significantly and I am able to be more active and take little to no medications for pain. Thank you Purple, you have changed my life!

Hi Purple Mattress's advertisement is very attractive but in reality actual material is very different. It's not that soft as they eggs test, anyone can try to rest it will be crush or broke or anything you can say your mattress will damage by real eggs. Unless if use plastic eggs then no problem. It's not cool as they advertise. I will never buy again. I will going to return the purple Mattress, pillow, and other products too. They should stop to false advertisement. Thanks Ramji

I work for UPS as a delivery driver. Needless to say I was in bad need of a comfortable mattress to get me through my long work days. I have been sleeping on the new Purple 2 mattress for 1 week now and it has been extremely uncomfortable to my shoulder. My arm falls asleep and wakes me up due to the pain. I have been very stiff when getting out of bed and that is very disappointing since I spent good money hoping for a good night sleep. I bought a different foam mattress with a cooling gel top for my spare room which only cost 200 and I can sleep on it and wake up pain free. I'm going to continue to try this purple mattress and hopefully it will get better but right now I'm thinking I'm better off physically and financially with a mattress like the one I have in my spare room. I am hoping if I adjust the level of my head and feet somehow then it will help with the shoulder pain. I would like to say the sheets are amazing and I like the base so I can adjust the level of my feet and head. I'm not real impressed with the "massage" feature. It just vibrates and is more annoying than enjoyable in my opinion.
