If Purple had invented the mattress a couple hundred years ago, there would be no tired or unhappy people. Maybe world history would've changed. Maybe wars would've never been started because people got good sleep. My wife and I slept on the floor on sleeping bags for the first week in our apartment because we were waiting for Purple to arrive. That's how committed we were to getting this mattress. This mattress makes your literal dreams come true. Keeping changing the world of sleep Purple, you rock!!!

I had high hopes for the Purple mattress. I'm a below knee amputee and have hip & back pain pretty often, so I was hoping a new mattress would help reduce that. It was very comfortable when I first tried it out & I was excited. You can feel the mattress move with your body, to contour it. But so far there has been no change in back and neck pain.The bed may also be too soft for my likings also. I'd prefer it to be a bit more firm.

I would like to give a more detailed review, and a higher rating, but my sample size is small. I think I've only had it for 2 weeks. But I can say that it was quite refreshing to sleep on a bed that didn't have a significant body impression in it and as a result, the back pain I was experiencing has diminished. I wake up feeling rested.i did toss and turn the first couple nights as I adjusted to the foreign feel of a new bed. My only complaint, and it's not really a mattress issue, it's that since the angle of my body has changed during sleeping, I've had to overhaul my pillow arrangemt. I had a pretty good kink in my neck for a few days til I sorted it out. But all in all, I'm pleased. I will say the buying experience was haste free and painless and everyone I spoke to was quite nice and not pushy at all.

I purchased a total of 4 beds in the last year in an effort to improve the quality of sleep for my Wife and I. The Purple mattress is hands down the best mattress we have ever slept on. This is no small feat, considering I prefer a firm mattress as opposed to my Wife who wants to "sleep on a cloud". To be honest, I was skeptical about buying a bed I could not touch/see beforehand (having been disappointed with similar purchases), but with a 100 night guarantee what did I have to lose. Don't waste time looking at other beds, this is a fantastic product at a great price.

Had to replace the first mattress after only 7 months due to severe body indentationsand lack of support. Have had the replacement mattress for less than 4 weeks and it is deteriorating (body weights approximately 200 pounds and 110 pounds). Back problems are exacerbated. Refund should be given at this point or we will end up replacing the mattress every month for 10 years which is a waste.

I'm typically a very light sleeper and never have dreams; when I do it's always nightmares. Before my purple, I required 10+ hrs a night. Now, with my purple I fall into such a deep sleep so quickly I'm having nightmares again. On the plus side I only need the normal 7-9hrs, and my back, and hip pain is gone!

My wife and I tried to sleep on our new purple bed for several weeks. We woke up feeling more in pain every morning. It got to where we couldn't even lay on it to relax for a few minutes. Unfortunately we will have to return the mattress. I'm sure it works well for some people but for us it was too firm and straining on the hips and back.

I have struggled with sleep for a very long time and our mattress was contributing to the problem. My husband and I decided instead of constantly rolling into each other it was time to upgrade our mattress type and size. I did a bunch of research and stumbled upon purple. I hadn't had any luck with normal mattresses and purple was far from normal so I decided to give it a shot. My husband was skeptical, but agreed to give it a try. We were both instant converters when it arrived. Besides the novelty of having so much extra space from upgrading a queen to a king, the bed is amazingly comfortable in almost any position. You can hardly feel your partner moving around, and it actually does stay cool during the night. I'm still not a great sleeper, but at least now I am always comfortable and don't wake up sore. My husband said that I have spoiled him because he now hates when we go out of town and have to sleep on anything else. Anytime a friend comes over we makes them lie in our bed and a few have already ordered their own. I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

The wait is worth it! Looking for a new mattress since we were buying a new bedroom, and we were pointed to several online options. After reading so many reviews on "Purple" we chose that direction. Although the wait was a little painful (trying to coordinate arrival of furniture to coincide with mattress arrival) the end result was worth it. It took me a couple of nights to acclimate to the new position my body was in. My wife took longer, after a week she still hadn't adjusted, and was growing concerned. Then in the second week, her back seemed to make the transition and she was sold on Purple. I still "feels" different than all previous mattresses, but our bodies appreciate it so much! Since switching to Purple, both of us have MUCH more rest and our backs really appreciate the support.

I had bought purple a few years ago, and eventually moved and gave to my family, end up buyimg a cheaper mattress because of logistics reason, now i moved again and finally bought a nice king all for myself again. There is no place like home but there is no comfort without purple
