We bought the mattress using Affirm to spread out our payments, which was a very quick and easy process. Our mattress arrived significantly sooner than expected, and the purple sheets are very soft and comfortable. The mattress we got (base model) is more firm than expected, but overall very comfortable and I'm surprised at how I now wake up genuinely awake and we'll rested. At first our mattress was on the floor as we waited for our frame to arrive from another seller, and there is a marked difference in the feeling of the mattress on the floor versus on slats, so definitely take the time to find a frame that works best for you. Overall I'm very happy.

As a massage therapist, I knew when I started having chronic back and shoulder pain, it was time for a new mattress. And it took a bit to adjust to my Purple mattress. But the company asks for an honest 30 day trial, and it hasn't been 30 days, and I'm already feeling SOOO MUCH BETTER! No more low back pain. No more hip pain. At first, we were incredibly excited to receive our purple mattress. Now, after one month, we will be seeking a return. Pros: -Super quick shipping and easy setup -Good support overall -Competitive price Cons: -Way too cool, even with flannel sheets I would shiver -I am a stomach sleeper and my arms would routinely be asleep when I awoke -My wife is a side sleeper and now has new pains in her hips and shoulders Overall this bed is different and may be worth trying out. However, we will be looking elsewhere.

First off let me say Purple has the best customer service team I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. Not only does purple make one of the most amazing products, but they also have a 5 star support team. I suffer from multiple lower back issues. I have had 2 surgeries at the age of 39 due to my stenosis, arthritis, and advanced degernative disease which gives me around the clock sciatic pain. I own my salon which means I just don't work 40 hrs a week behind a chair, I end up working all week long. When it used to come to sleeping I would dread laying down at night due to constant rolling and discomfit, but not anymore. I have slept on several high quality high cost mattresses and purple has not only designed a perfect mattress they did so that it was also cost affordable as well. If you have ever suffered from any of the above mentioned conditions I recommend you give purple a try, and seriously what do you have to lose with the Purple guarantee? No lol I do not work for purple either I'm just a very happily convinced customer. I have the original purple mattress and hope to one day try the new version just for the curiosity! We bought the OG Purple matress because I am a hot sleeper . In this respect the mattress is wonderful! I am getting some muscle aches that I wasn't getting on my old foam mattress. I am giving it another month to adjust and see if I get used it it. I will update then.

I have had rods and screws put it my back to hold me back together. This mattress fells lumpy I think it must be the silicone waffles to close to the top It might be because of my bad back I was sure hoping this would make a difference I believe that I will be returning it

I love my bed!! I thought that the soft bed would not make for a good nights rest. But the support that mattress gives is amazing!! My only complaint is the smell. I should've let it air out for a few days. I didn't really know what to do when I first got it. It was wrapped in several layers of plastic. I didn't see any directions. Maybe an email sent a few days before arrival would've helped. I'm grateful for my good nights sleep.

This is, hands down, the best mattress I have ever slept on. I had read that the grid could take a little getting used to, but the first night I slept on it, I fell asleep and got one of the best night's rest I've had in ages. Since then, I have been sleeping much better and waking up feeling more refreshed. I used to wake up in the night or toss around due to heat and general uncomfortableness, but I haven't really noticed that since I started sleeping on this bad boy. The cost was concerning, but after a month, I'm very happy with the purchase.

I've always had regular spring mattresses, never even owned a memory foam at all. I've suffered from severe insomnia, hip/knee pain, and back pain for years with no relief. Since I've spent a little over a month on my original Purple and the platform base, I've had ZERO issues with insomnia OR pain! In fact, I've never slept so well! My husband has ruptured discs in his back, and has never been able to find relief; until now. Not once has he complained of any pain since we've had our Purple! Believe it or not, even his snoring has stopped! I cannot praise this mattress enough! I hope it lasts this well throughout, or even past the 10 year warranty. If so I will be replacing it with one identical to it! I will NEVER own any mattress aside from Purple. You guys have truly created the best mattress money can buy, and it's worth every single penny!

I'm going to give the five stars, but with some additional info for you. I had an opportunity to sleep on one before I purchased. That one was on a bed frame with solid bottom as support. I used a previously owned frame under mine because I did not want to be that low to the floor. I am questioning if my frame is good overall around support for the mattress. I sleep well and it has much more support that my previously owned one and is very comfortable. I hate to say that only a little more time will tell, but that is where I am.
