It has a sweet cheesey taste to it which just reminds me of butter noodles. The appearance of it was really yellow and I made it a little watery but I added extra cheese in it to give it a bump. It was pretty good!

My husband (not under 5) said that apart from a slight texture difference due to more protein in the noodles, this variety was indistinguishable from the original in a blind taste test! Definitely a good way to increase your protein intake a little without sacrificing flavor!

It has the correct portion for a family of 5 so you know it's a good deal. It lasts long on the shelve and stores easily. And it has a nice creamy cheeeeesy texture.

I would absolutely get this on repeat knowing it’s for extra protein. The size was the same as a regular box of Kraft. Definitely works as a meal or as a side.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a kid and even into college, I was fairly loyal to Kraft Mac and cheese however I more recently jumped ship to alternative protein, packed options like Banza mac & cheese instead. Now that Kraft has rolled out their protein mac & cheese I am a huge fan. The noodles are slightly firmer and similar to other protein noodles I’ve tried and the cheese didn’t leave a chalky or grainy texture. I’m excited to see what else they come up with!
