The noodles are a little thicker than normal but that's what keeps you full. The sauce is creamy and cheesy. I paired with bbq chicken and veggies. This is something that I will be packing in my lunch boxes because it's so good and has good source of protein to keep me fueled for my shift!

However, it is not as cheesy as the original and tastes like it’s low sodium. If paired with a salty meat or you add salt it’s good. The texture of the pasta is very similar to the original.

Texture is about the same to the original however, the flavor is a little bit more richer in a good way. I also noticed I became full faster most likely because of the added protein and fiber. This is a good option if you need something quick and a bit more nutritional over the standard box. That said it is still box mac & cheese so do not expect restaurant or homemade quality.
